- Go easy on me as this was my first attempt at a project like this, but I think it turned out great! I give you a step by step tutorial on how I built my 6x12 putting green in my studio. It rolls true and fast! Can't wait to start filming some cool videos with it!
Nice putting area.
I would have put an underlayment down first though. Soften the area for chip shot more like a real green.
Plus, when putting the cups in. Put the turf down first. Cut an X over the hole and then shove the hole cup down in. Wedges against the turf, makes it nice and tight and clean. Just for thought.
Please tell us what grass / carpet you used. I am building a putting green platform like yours. I am shy of using Lowes Grizly Grass as it seems a bit cheap and not very long lasting.
Can you share the specific carpet/turf you used from Home Depot? Thanks!
Socks!? Is it able to be outside in weather? Or is that mainly for inside?
I'm making one and I put velcro tape to hold the turf and jack bolts underneath to level or change angles.
nice bro, I'm thinking of making one for outside to put on my balcony
That’s honestly so cool and such a great idea. Adding small piles of sand under the carpet for breaks woulda been awesome
You made that look so easy! Where did you get the turf?
Hahaha wasn’t too difficult. Got the turf at Home Depot!
which turf are you using ?? may i know
Through the beginning of this video I was shocked ! Then I was blown away when I seen you were a lefty like me ! I just started golfing 2 months ago and I’m absolutely addicted!! I mean how did I end up on this video if I wasn’t lol
Nice work on the DIY green! Coach, you going to be at PNC next month? ⛳️
Cool project. Do you wish you’d put the padding underneath? What would you have used?
Solid addition coach
Thanks my dude! Gonna have some fun with it.
How much did the material cost?
You have inspired me!!! Just got the lumber to build my own 10' x 6' green for my garage!! Can't wait to get it done and to be using it. Will be great to have through the winter!!!
How'd it go?
Yes
Nice
