Just finished this hat. Since I had different yarn and hooks sizes I had to adjust the number of rows and sts but that wasn't a problem at all. It was difficult at first but when I got a hang of it it went quite fast. And now I have a guergous one of a kind (in my town) hat. Thank you very much and greetings from Poland 😊
I fell in love with this pattern, but I have to agree that the problems came across when I had to repeat from round 2-5 with the braided yarn, it was really tricky. That was the most difficult part!
❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻 thank you so much!!! I have tried so many times to learn some kind of cable stitch and never could until I came across your tutorial- I am soooo grateful ❤️🙏🏻
I can't figure it out... I've Been trying to make a wheat cable cape for Months now. I just can't get it. I hope this tutorial will help me.. Going to watch it when I get off of work 🤞🤞🤞🤞😬
This pattern makes such an awesome hat. Using sport weight yarn, I create a slip stitch brim--using G or H hook, join the two ends with a slip stitch. Switch to I hook, evenly place 75 dc around. I decrease to keep the look of the cables when the hat is the size I want, so a tapered look Finish off with a pom. Lovely! Thank you so much for the tutorial.
Made one of these last year and wore it all the time! Lots of compliments and people wanting to know "where I bought it". About to make my 2nd one in a different color. I did do a shorter band (only 10 rows tall) and didn't double it because my yarn was thicker and i like that look better on me. I added more of the cabeling to make it the right height (did 3.5 rounds of the cabeling). I consider myself a beginner and this beanie is challenging at first but these directions are clear. Just keep trying and referring to the video and you'll get it. Thanks for sharing!
I will have to give this hat a try. I like the thicker brim. I also like that all your cable stitches are made from the front! Not a back post stitch in the whole lot!!
Succeed! I was a a bit confused in row 4 and 5 and the repeat. I had to redo 3,4 times the row 4. And when I understand, it is so easy and I finish it in 1 hour. Thank you so much. I love my beanie so much. Your pattern is easy and very clear. Subscribed!
Love it! Easy to follow your instructions. I am able to make 2 beanies💕💕: one with 72 stitches and another one with 60 stitches. Both turn out to be beautiful! Thank you!
Your tutorial couldn't have come at a better time! I want to learn how to do cables & one of my favorite designers just happened to put up a tutorial - yay!!!
1st off... I 💜 your finishing weaving-in technique. However, I want to comment on your crochet technique...it is too cute! Idk if it is the nails or what...but I 💜 your style Dear 😊
Absolutely 💯, beautiful croqueted cable stitched hat, great tutorial as well, I'll be definitely croqueting many different colors of yarn in making this 👒 🥳, amazingly fantastic job well done 🥰💯
Great project. Thanks. However I am so confused about what to do after row 5. It says row 5 was 4 and 4th round was like the second. Do you have a written pattern please? I really appreciated the time with steps through out the project what a brilliant way to ease the process for your students. Nathalie from Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
CONGRATULATIONS on 100K!!!!!!!! I initially found you (a while back) while looking for hooded blankets....and I found your Woodland Blankets :) .....then I found your dragon blanket which is waiting for me to make....THEN! I came across your fighter blanket - oh my!!! I have all of the yarn to make all of your goodies but even tho I don't work, I can not find the time to make them.....yet. Also, I really love that you live near me @ home in Ontario xx
I love this hat.....but I don't see how 40 rows on the band will fit anyone but a child. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. But anywho I did two hats. One in olive and one in brown. Both are gorgeous. Thank you.
Hi there, I am finding this very challenging. I have undone it 3 times. Somewhere its getting messed up. do you have a written pattern available. I think it would help, I followed along the first four rows then got lost?
All of your designs are beautiful! I just completed your mosaic hat and am trying to attach that faux fur pouf with the snap. Could you tell me where you bought or what brand that needle is? All mine are much too large to fit through those narrow openings? Thank you!
Hi there! I want to make it bigger and add 12 more stitches.. would I add 8 more rows to brim instead of 40 and 72 stitches instead of 60 for cable? Thank you so much!
Beautiful design! Can you offer any guidance on how to make the band smaller and the braided area longer? I hope that my question makes sense. I love the braided area so much.
Can I ask you a question how do I make it a little bigger do I crochet 40 rows or would it i need to crochet 50 rows with 5.5 hook to make it bigger and if not how would I get 60 stitches if I need it bigger size.
It would have been super helpful for the first row 2 repeat to show how it looked since it was different than the first time row 2 was done 😢😢. My hat is a disaster from that point
Does anybody know if the pattern goes into more detail about repeating rounds 2-5? I got to this point almost two weeks ago now, and I know the stitches, but I have no clue what order to put them in because the cords are twisted into a different order after the first set of cabling. I've tried almost every combination known to man at this point and have combed through every photo of this hat on etsy, here, and the other link where the pattern is sold and cannot figure it out to save my life. I even tried going through a few cabling tutorials, but none of them do three cables per section, they do two, so theyre more like twists than braids. So now I'm at a loss and the only thing I can think to do is check out the pattern, but I don't want to get it if it's just going to be the same as the video and go "repeat rounds 2-5", because I get the rest, everything else makes sense, I just can't get my brain to figure out the rest of the cabling 😵💫
Ella hizo 60 puntos al rededor de la banda del gorro y mencionó que es múltiple de 12 qué tal vez a este tiempo ⏱ ya hizo su gorro pero quise responder su pregunta saludos
*ATTENTION* This Hat is so flipping small! Is like for a 5yr old. I'm talking NOT ADULT size. She doesn't warn you if the size until you have the entire brim made. I'm so mad! I was making this a a gift and had to start all over. She should tell you it's small and use a bigger hook size if you want it larger at the beginning of the damn video. Wasted my time. Shame because the hat is very pretty.
