I have quedar down. I apply it so that it makes sense to me. So, I have a pretty good grasp on it. For example, quedan dos manzanas=remain 2 apples. La torta me ha quedado muy bien=The cake has remained to me very well. It does not make sense in english, but if i dn't learn it this way, it's very hard to grasp. Once I learn it my way, then I learn the actual spanish meaning. Quedar con is easy for me.
Could you please explain the ue of "he"?. Having googled it, I understand it's 1st person present perfect, but I'm not sure what this means. Muchas gracias

Vale, la entendí esta lección perfectamente bien, pero la cosa que nunca dice nadie es que, (para los Inglés al menos) la confusión es que queremos decir, por ejemplo, "no quedo cerveza". Claro, esto es incorrecto, pero muestra la mente de los Ingleses. "No queda vino, or no quedan cervezas (que desastre para un ingles😂) es, para me, al revés, pero claro que sí, yo se es correcto. También "me faltan palabras, o me falta vocabulario" es exactamente lo mismo. Y creo que eso es la confusión. Vale. Gracias, y gracias otra vez. He seguido con mi español, al menos tres horas al día, cada día. No estoy segurro de que os vaya a ir a Torrejón este año.....depende en cosas. Pero un abrazo a ti, a Gordon, a Blanca y a Ana. Y por cierto, sí, puedes decir the cake is looking good en Ingles, es correcto, pero es más probable que digas the cake looks good, or the cake's turned out well, o diez mil otra formas!

Quedar/se is one of those things that takes a long time to get your head around
It's difficult because quedar equates to múltiple English verbs: there's not a direct translation

@3:53,,,dónde queda el museo? in which instances would you use queda instead of está to mean "is". any subtle difference?
En inglés no hay traducción. Sólo usáis 'is'. Quedar suena más como 'how far away is it? Where is it?

He = I have (eaten/ cooked/ seen...)
He= I have (eaten)
Has = You have (eaten)
Ha= He/She has (eaten), etc.
