The level of calm acceptance of what Tyler wants these young cattle to do, proves how skilled he has become in handling them. They don't live in terror of the human wanting their cooperation and they don't ignore him either. The perfect balance.
Once more I’m watching and remembering how the cows can be. Love your channel . Love every sprinkler you fix. Every fence you repair, and how you never seem to get upset. I can remember when the cows would run the other way off the trails, and me being barefoot I would tiptoe across the field throwing whatever I could find at them. Cows would be heavy with milk and we always had a new cow who would never follow the herd.
Tyler I am so proud of you running this ranch by yourself! You are so calm and methodical, and these animals respond to that. Off the subject, please have a doctor keep an eye on the mole in your ear. You may have been born with it. But it can turn on you.
By your calm demeanor handling the cattle, they seem to rarely give you many problems whenever loading in the trailer or when herding in the shoot. Bismark boy knew exactly what to do and he's going to have fun this summer with his girlfriends and buddies!😘 Hope he gets nice and fat while he's there having fun with the girls and able to eat that good grass! Hey Tyler, happy Father's Day to you!!!! 🥰 Hope you have a great day with your sweet family!
Someone has probably mentioned it before, but maybe modify the old squeeze Shute to be mobile to take down to the steer/winter pasture? As a fellow youtuber I think it would make a good useful project for yourself as well as good UA-cam content. Cheers from South Africa
Animals smelling butt is so funny to me but I get it, akin to animals farting unapologetically. 😊❤ I love your channel. 🎉 Thank you for sharing and keeping it authentic. ❤
I've used and talked to several farmers on the use of the blue colored cobalt salt blocks and seems to stop all pink eye problems. I believe cobalt is an immune booster.
I am so jealous everytime I watch you working your cattle because that was my father's passion as well but circumstances had him sell his land and cattle. I love cattle and I can see that you love it as well. You have good looking cattle. Keep up the good work!!!
Tyler, I want to share the OTHER best agriculture UA-cam channel on the web, with you and the FTR community. It's 'IFarmWeFarm' from the Republic of Ireland. It's another one-man cow & calf operation, a dairy farm this time. I suggest arranging the videos oldest-to-current, like I did on your channel also. Adrian is the farmer, he started his channel about 8 months after you did. It will be a huge pleasure and education, just as your channel is. Thanks Tyler, for everything you are doing for us!
O, he of little faith. You did a great job and for the hay in the trailer, work smarter, not harder, and if someone said you cheated, O, well. LOL Thanks for sharing and have a nice safe day!!!
Would moving the old squeeze shoot there help to alleviate this issue or would it be more of a pain? Just a thought, love your channel! You make it look easy even though it is not.
We are "city folks" new to having cattle for four years. Last year was our first year dealing with pinkeye. We had one that had it very badly in both eyes, almost blind by her behavior. We had used the Veteramycin, had given her antibiotics with little improvement. It was suggested to us by someone who had dealt with a similar circumstance to rub triple ointment into her eyes (not fun for her or us), and it or time, or both, cured the pink eye and even eliminated the scarring that was forming. When it happened to another one, in one eye, we did the same thing and patched her eye and had the same wonderful result. Always grateful to those who share their experience and knowledge with us.
Hey Tyler, been trying to make a decision if I'm gonna build a cover for my new Arrowquip chute or get a heavy tarp to cover it. I'm in Virginia and we usually have quite a bit of rain in the spring, fall and winter. (some snow and ice too) I wanna keep mine "new" as long as I can. What do you and your viewers suggest? Building a shelter, putting a tarp over it when not in use or just letting it set on the weather?
I never have luck with tarps. Wind blows them off, they tear, etc. If I were going to cover it I’d build a shelter I think. Then you’d have shade in the summer as an added bonus! Also, these chutes are powder coated, not painted so they should hold up for a long time. We shall see!
Tyler could you get a prescription for Aureomycin crumbles and feed the ones with pinkeye? feed them in the corral at the steer pasture with out having to make a haul with them, that's how we treat outbreak of pinkeye here on our farm or n rental property.
Morning FT! Really grateful for your new chute, it’s truly making it so much easier for you. I’m always impressed how quickly they come to you. Just curious if pink eye in cattle is as contagious as it is in people? Another great vid! God’s blessings!❤❤❤
So funny, if you’re not familiar with cattle, they are VERY nosey! One goes they all usually will follow unless you have that pain in the neck smart one! I laughed at the beginning when they came running only to hit the breaks when they saw the trailer!!
A shade structure of some sort is a must. I have been thinking about that for a while now. Tyler, have you thought about some sort of canopy or shade for your cattle working facilities? Specially over the chutte
Hey Tyler. Are you considering taking your old chute to the steer pasture and building a corral there so you can treat cattle on location rather than loading and taking them home?
The Bismarck bull is growing & maturing very nicely. He’s going to be a very nice herd bull next year. Are you going to turn him out at the ranch for clean up after you bring him back or just wait until next year?
May I ask why you are not running a couple of Borders or Kelpies to help you with the cattle? It would cut your workload by 2/3, as far as the cows are concerned, and keep you much safer. You could either train them yourself, or buy started dogs- WELL worth the money!!!!---- SDK
The Bismarck calf is not a calf anymore. "All growed up," as they say. And those bulls .. Couldn't see a single fly hanging around them. Nice job on fly control.
@miriambertram2448 thank you☺️ is she even a year? It amazing I watch every upload but I guess sometimes you I miss something. When he said "her" the other day ,I thought it was a mistake.

Nothing's easy when you're working singlehandedly, Tyler !! But you at least, think it through !!
Good catch on the Pink eye. And those calves will be glad of the fly spray. Have a good weekend.
That new chute is sweet!
Farmer Tyler and the Bismark bull had a good day.
LETS HOPE HE MAKES ME PROUD!! Looks like thats for sure!!!
You treat your cattle well and still love that Arrowquip.
That Areoquip is so nice. The cattle leave it calmly. Good Work!!
So grateful for all of the effort you put in camera shots. Absolutely love your channel and always look forward to your videos. Thank you
Looks like everything went well today have a good weekend.
Looks like your new squeeze chute is working out, really good.

I think everyone on the planet can back a gooseneck trailer better than I can. Spectacular talent you have there !
What a terrific video. Amazing what you can do Tyler. So enjoyable to watch.
Another successful day. Happy Saturday. Thanks for sharing. Nice job getting them in the trailer at the steer pasture. 😃
Animals smelling butt is so funny to me but I get it, akin to animals farting unapologetically. 😊❤

Your very calm with your cows so they aren't afraid of you. Which is good for anything you need to do with them. Have a great day....
Another awesome video. Thank you Tyler.

Happy Father’s Day Tyler., I know your Wife will make it Awesome for her hard working husband ❤ 6-16-2024
LOL At 4:15 when they spied the trailer they had fear in there eyes. They looked the same as my dog when he realises we are stopping at the vets.
Try stopping at the vets and ONLY give the dog a favorite treat and leave. Retrain the dog that the clinic is not scary.
Tyler I think maybe it's time to hose down the trailer. It looks so nice and shiny when it's clean. 😊
Quit saying you got lucky and admit you got some skills Son
GOOD AFTERNOON TYLER

You’re a great rancher/farmer. Enjoy your great content!!
Bismarck read his job description 😃
Bismark bull what a way to get acquainted.

Amazing calm wins them over every single time . . . Awesome skills and abilities, Tyler !! Thanks for sharing 🙏🏼
Oh my 🤭 the thumbnail😂🤭 new baby calves coming soon huh?!!😂❤

Great video showing how you care for your cattle.❤

@@farmertylerranch4399 That's what I was hoping you'd say! Just needed that advice. Now to get that shelter built..... thank you
In north central PA, Arrowquip under roof in sort barn.
Our vet used penicillin and a clear Rx mixed together and injected in the eyeball's outer layer. Worked well!
I can’t imagine how anyone could be so precise and delicate with an eyeball layer on a jittery dancing cow! Yikes!
Restrained with a properly tied halter it is done fairly easily
Hello Tyler. Any significance that all 4 animals were treated in their right eyes? Good videos, keep them coming!
Nice work Tyler great care.
I love your cattle videos farmer Tyler! Thanks for sharing!
Great video. That pink eye looks painful.
Have a great weekend.
Your a hard working man
Yeah, you had some luck, but there was a whole lotta skill involved too, FTR. Thanks for the weights and daily gains. Bet you’re loving the head gate!
Congrats, your cattle look great.
Enjoyable video FTR.
Tyler could you get a prescription for Aureomycin crumbles and feed the ones with pinkeye? feed them in the corral at the steer pasture with out having to make a haul with them, that's how we treat outbreak of pinkeye here on our farm or n rental property.
Wow that's some big cows thank you for the video
Leaving the new chute is so much easier for the cattle. Go get em Bismark. Bis get busy😅
Morning FT! Really grateful for your new chute, it’s truly making it so much easier for you. I’m always impressed how quickly they come to you. Just curious if pink eye in cattle is as contagious as it is in people? Another great vid! God’s blessings!❤❤❤
Great video. Thank you so much for sharing this. I am looking forward to your smallest bull to grow bigger too.......😊
Good update FTR!
You do a brilliant job on your own😊😊x
God bless your work
Great video, as always ❤
Ftr, congratulations on 128k plus subs 💪
So funny, if you’re not familiar with cattle, they are VERY nosey! One goes they all usually will follow unless you have that pain in the neck smart one! I laughed at the beginning when they came running only to hit the breaks when they saw the trailer!!
What a nice weigh gain on pasture !!
I don’t know how he does it all by his self. I get tried just watching what he does everyday
You got your cows well trained forsure
Excellent thanks
Go, Bismarck, Go!!!!!
Love your work Tyler cheers
Boy, gotta love your Arrowquip
They are a great tool to use. We used ours today for a prolapsed uterus replacement and suturing. Vet was glad cow was well restrained.
A shade structure of some sort is a must. I have been thinking about that for a while now. Tyler, have you thought about some sort of canopy or shade for your cattle working facilities? Specially over the chutte
Thx
Hey Tyler. Are you considering taking your old chute to the steer pasture and building a corral there so you can treat cattle on location rather than loading and taking them home?
I admit it, I chuckled at the thumbnail.
100% that's a California queer steer
😂😂😂😂😂🐄
Lucky Bismarck, but what about Riveter he wants to go too?
Yeah, farmer Tyler !! When's it Rivet's turn ?
The Bismarck bull is growing & maturing very nicely. He’s going to be a very nice herd bull next year. Are you going to turn him out at the ranch for clean up after you bring him back or just wait until next year?
Could the old chute be moved to the steer pasture or the winter pasture to make use of it?

Only took .4 seconds to forget about his buddy's back home 😂😂
I used sugar beet.
I am wondering why they all had the pinkeye on the right eye? Any ideas?
I don't know if you covered this, but why is a heffer in with the steers? ,I'm learning all the words ☺️
I expect she didnt breed and will be harvested. Taylor seems to need 5 or 6 for each harvest group.
@miriambertram2448 thank you☺️ is she even a year? It amazing I watch every upload but I guess sometimes you I miss something. When he said "her" the other day ,I thought it was a mistake.
Make you proud!
I always enjoy when you share stats. Also, do you have eleventeen go-pros to get all those different views? 😂
Why you did not set the old shut in the steer pasture.
😊
Tyler, go to a dermatologist and make sure you don't have a problem in your left ear.
❤
Awes
💖💖💖💖💖
😎🌻
Hello, why is he called the Bismarck bull
He is sired by SAV Bismarck
@@jeremystrand6813 thanks I live in Bismarck, North Dakota

Why Bismarck? Why is he your choice(forgive if I missed the reasoning)
PS Work smart not hard
I’m sure is your philosophy
Thanks! For gasoline!
Mr. Tyler, you videos are cool!!- but you need to shave ur scraggy beard, much more handsome👍🤪🤗, cause your a Handsome young Man🐂🐂
There animals larger than you, why would that be called cheating 🤔
You need help sorting cows
Don’t agree; Farmer Tyler does quite well alone 🎉
Cost effective too
sometimes I would rather sort by myself.
Red and kinda milky yuck
