Rachel always steals the show, she deserves a show of her own.
It'd not Nish Kumar's, and I agree she is shines.
She'll absolutely get one some day.
Not very pretty though.
Chade Fallstar I don't think she has to steal it, it was given to her on a plate
I like her and points she makes a lot, but news desk is just effing brilliant.
The bbc are risking making a really enjoyable programme here... Rachel is brilliant
Rachel and Nish an Iconic Duo.
I wondered why the BBC dropped this , now I know.
With Boris Johnson as Prime Minister and the way he treats women is it any surprise?
Sticks and stones...
1. Rachel Parris is so brave to be publicly laughing at a threat like that
2. Poor Nish XD

Rachel Parris is brilliant, which I suppose is threatening to many... especially if they don't understand nuances, undertones, irony, sarcasrm, or just words. I absolutely love her!
Nothing threatening there. Just not funny. Regardless of what your political, ideological opinions may be. No jokes, no punchlines. Just condescending propaganda with canned laughter for good measure. Well done BBC for helping lower the standard for comedy and everything else for that matter.
@@TheFunktipus1 where did you see propaganda? Just the fact you used that word suggests your understanding of this video is limited.
@@sarahdavey7711 uhhhh. Maybe because its more of the usual BBC leftie, socialist loving, diversity, inclusion bias telling people like you how you should think, feel, speak, act through the medium of state run "comedy" like this garbage fire of a show. Your working man/woman on the street are frustrated with what the London Elite/ Establisment are lecturing the rest of us with the usual "Tolerance, Diversity, Inclusion" buzz words and this show is a prime example of what is now derogatory known as Woke Comedy. The message is so strongly pushed throught the PC filter, that they forgot it was supposed to be a funny. Phew!! Anyway, I'm sick about hearing about Brexit, sexism, racism, islamaphobia and all that other bullshit that hurts weak people's feelings. I like comedy to escape all that.

Of course one used to have to defeat dragons and all sorts and some others besides to be even remotely considered a "Legend"

Dear Sir..you are, without fear of contradiction, a monumental nincompoop!🎩
I wonder what motivates this. Like are these men getting enough positive responses to their unsolicited nudes that they figure it’s worth continuing? Or are they just like flashers? Who enjoy imposing on people and making them uncomfortable.

Yes, I will never understand why they spend so much time on things like this. I have a feeling that there is more motivation to this than just not liking her jokes.
Nish is going to die from depression
Rachel did swipe right on him though. He has that going on for him.
Haha 😐
I love this but can’t actually believe that the BBC would allow anything even slightly controversial. This is awesome
I love how elegant she is and oh that smile on her face... how does she manage to keep it all the time?

If I was that funny, I wouldn’t be able to keep a straight face.
Ask your oncologist if medical advice from online trolls is right for you?
Seriously though, I had a culture shock when I came online, as in Britain I'm used to men acting nice and gentlemanly. Then I come online and have lots of angry USA men swearing at me. Do men and women in the USA dislike each other as much as it seems? I see lots of them making those groups saying they don't want women, but instead of leaving women alone to have hero gentlemen, they spend their time trying to make women feel bad
No this is how all men are all the time when women are away.
There are plenty of British people who are tossers online too. Americans are worse for assuming someone is being nasty because of their identity, so are quick to claim racism, sexism etc. However there are a lot of people, all over the world, who are just unpleasant to innocent people online.
@@fritzjackson4336 😂😂 ngl made me laugh
True
I had that too! I live in a really isolated town in Australia, where the last rape case was 35 years ago. It was shocking to me that people, men especially, are so appalling to the opposite gender. I got so used to living in a place where everyone is equal, and exactly so.
Kyle Walker has let himself go.
Now the BBC have removed the Mash Report from the orders of the Government , so much for impartiality
@Jack Black satire is used to challenge and hold to account any government that's in power , if Labour had won then it would be them getting stick . this is censorship.
The orders of the government to remove the MASH report???
I thought the BBC removed it because no one watched it, and it was just unfunny.
No actually it was because it was losing ratings and destroying any remaining image the BBC might have. Comedy isn't someone clapping when someone says brexit bad white man bad. OK. Communists had a go trying to destroy it, now it's time to hand it back to the grownups.
@@action1976 Yeah but people like to delude themselves to never feel uncomfortable. Echochambers have bred neuroses.
Love Rachel Parris. Super funny and super talented.
It's not just a tinder thing, I'm a minor and have been sent several unsolicited photos just this week! It's absolutely horrific the way some people behave online.
@Khavvie no, often people will just send dick pics to me on social media- not having seen a photo of me, or even knowing me. They just see I'm a girl, and boom, dick pic.
The internet in a nutshell.
Funny male comedian: he is funny.
Funny female comedian: the writers are funny.
Women aren't receiving the worst of it. In fact most studies I support that exact opposite finding.
Pew poll from 2017: www.pewinternet.org/2017/07/11/online-harassment-2017/
"Men and women experience and respond to online harassment in different ways. Overall, men are somewhat more likely to experience any form of harassing behavior online: 44% of men and 37% of women have experienced at least one of the six behaviors this study uses to define online harassment. In terms of specific experiences, men (30%) are modestly more likely than women (23%) to have been called offensive names online or to have received physical threats (12% vs. 8%).
By contrast, women - and especially young women - encounter sexualized forms of abuse at much higher rates than men. Some 21% of women ages 18 to 29 report being sexually harassed online, a figure that is more than double the share among men in the same age group (9%). In addition, roughly half (53%) of young women ages 18 to 29 say that someone has sent them explicit images they did not ask for. For many women, online harassment leaves a strong impression: 35% of women who have experienced any type of online harassment describe their most recent incident as either extremely or very upsetting, about twice the share among men (16%)."
They could at least have done some research before making such a statement, even for comedy.
Prediction based on the title alone: This comment section will be full of angry little boys bleating about MUH GREY AREA.
Wow, way to be a condescending jerk, but I need to educate you and jerks like you. The whole segment is premised on a false narrative. Pew data shows that men are victimized more often than women in nearly all forms of online abuse. That's why it's propaganda; these are blatant, fear-mongering lies that keep women in a position of victim-hood in society so they can keep claiming the rights of men while foregoing the trials and tribulations of manhood (i.e. 4:1 suicide rate compared to women, 99% of worker deaths, 95% of war casualties, 12:1 rate of alcoholism). The world is built against men and the rapid increase of unstable young men is not at all surprising because there's a literal crisis happening to young men and the world has responded by spitting vitriol at their pleas for help, calling them privileged and oppressive based on more false narratives and random, unwarranted accusations when in a natural setting men and women only differ in that men have a greater muscle mass, external genitalia, higher disagreeableness, and a shorter life span than the other sex. This is more obviously propaganda to a young man like me than would be actual WWII propaganda.

Sabrina Bittencourt, a Brazilian feminist activist committed suicide on Fev. 3rd, 2019. She was hiding in Spain. Sabrina had been receiving death threats for having exposed a famous Brazilian spiritual leader as a sex offender.
Not long before that, Brazilian politician gay activist Jean Wyllys decided not to step into office, but to leave Brazil due to constant death threats, some of which were directed to his family; Wyllys received messages saying his mother would be kidnapped, raped and sent back to him piece by piece.
Or course, if you do not sympathize with the examples Rachel has given in this video, why would you sympathize with the ones I'm providing now?
For those who do or might, please remember: your words do matter. They have consequences. People die on account of what you say or silence on social media, and that is no exaggeration.
For those who simply can't find it in their hearts to sympathize: you're a monster. And I am truly sorry - for you, for all around you, and for the people yours words and actions will help murder.

Wrong title for the video and wrong content... The real topic should be: Why is the internet and society in general so horrible to middle-income and poor MEN? And the answer is clear, of course: It's because we live under a regime of oppression under the rich upper class.
i imagine it takes quite the effort to write hateful messages and send them. if i weren't so lazy, i might have been among those hardworking people.

My parents would say that it you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all. People have forgotten their manners and should be ashamed of their behaviour. I still don't understand the phenomenon of whipping out ones penis, taking a photo of it and then sending it to a total stranger so that it can be reposted causing people to comment not only of said penis but to the mental stability of the person who sent it. @@DarkClarity Well obviously! The internet is a perfect litmus test for society as a whole and society, thankfully, is generally good.
I can't believe we have the power to define the health of society just from the comfort of our own screens at the comments sections of UA-cam.
We're pretty much arbitrarily defining the value of a whole bunch of people, which may or may not include ourselves, in a way that implies that we're in a position to judge.
It's a very fascinating exercise and I'm blown away by the definition and the redefinition of a nebulous something like society through an extract of personal experiences extrapolated into a theory that people can either relate to or disagree with.

I had a problem with that the first time I saw one of her bits, too, but then I realized Nish interactions and reactions are a scripted part of the sketch. Yes, the humor is a bit sharper than it needs to be sometimes, but I think it conveys all the more that Rachel's pleasant demeanor is the same false face many women put up each day lest asserting boundaries get them fired, hurt, or killed. Her barbs at Nish are the strain and rage that builds up behind those masks and tends to unleash around people who don't deserve it.
