- What started as an epic solo off-road motorbike adventure quickly became an embarrassing challenge! Join me as I tackle rugged terrain, unpredictable weather, and unexpected falls while riding deep into the wild. With no backup and miles away from the base, I had to crack on (with a little help!)

This is some of your best content yet Saff! Every metre, every fall every turn of the wheel your experience is growing along with your confidence. Thanks for taking us on these journeys with you. Really good to see you have the right protective gear for that exercise. Love the adaptation of the ‘Bad Boys’ theme tune😂. Stay in the saddle Saff.
Thank you so much, Graham! 😄 Every fall and wobbly turn is definitely part of the fun, right? 😂 I’m learning a little more each time, and the gear is definitely saving me from my "learning moments" 🤣. I’ll keep trying to stay in the saddle-appreciate you coming along for the ride! 🏍💨✌️
You can fall a thousand times, but you get up and try again! That is something I can really appreciate in you! Go and conquer the world! ❤ 😊
❤ Love the self motivational talks!!! Keep inspiring others and yourself ❤❤❤
Aww, thank you so much! ❤️ I really appreciate that! 😄 Those self-motivational talks keep me going, and if they inspire others too, that’s a bonus! Let’s keep riding and lifting each other up! 🏍💪✨
It is amazing how the tracks you are riding is so similar to the terrain I ride here in Washington,, I really enjoy this off road version of Saffy! That move of buying your van to travel in with your motorcycles is the best move you have made in the 3 years or so of me watching your videos.. I am excited for you and all your future adventures 😊
Glad you enjoy it!
When it comes to rocks and gravel, it makes a big difference on how much pressure is in your tires. Air them way down and you'll be amazed at how much better it handles. For example, for my usual load on my Yamaha TW200 it calls for 22psi front and 25psi rear, but on dirt I like 13psi front and 18psi rear. Lower might be even better.
Absolutely living the dream, life is good saffy, keep the faith..xx
You go girl!!!
As you know, we ALL fall off.
Nothing broken, so all good hey.
Great scenery, and who doesn't love talking to themselves.....
Until next time, njoy the ride.😊
So true! 😀 Thank you so much
Relax, enjoy the ride and it will all come together 😊
That's the plan!
You look like you're having a blast saffy 🙂👍
Thank you so much!
Blimey you have a fair few subscribers, how did you manage it? I was proud of passing 1,000 😅
Great to see your going for it alone and cracking on with it, well done 👏 Subscribed 👌
Haha, thanks so much! 😄 Honestly, I’m just as surprised as anyone else! I think it’s a mix of falling off my bike a lot and making people laugh along the way! 😂 Appreciate the sub! 🏍💨✌️
@@SaffySprocket Well good on you, I wish you all the best 👍 as long as you keep getting your leg back over it then you'll never fail 👌
Love this! Jumping in - the intro is beautiful. Keep on keepin' on!
Thanks so much!!
Meeting the pro in such a way is really something only a Saffy way of life makes possible. I'm always admiring how smart and sensitive you are. That's what is making your videos so extraordinary.
I live in the UK but I MTB around here. One time I was sat fixing a puncture and a group of guys pulled up. Within the group was a professional spanish mountain biker, who represents Spain.
When you get out into the world, you find that these kinds of 'coincidences' happen A LOT! 👌🏼😃
OMG what are the odds running into him Saffy . You have been doing great keep on rolling Saffy !!!!
I swear 😂 it was so random
Go Saffy Go!!! You continuously learning and pushing yourself and having a grand time doing it while managing to entertain the rest of us…. Well that is definitely almost entirely your fault!!! And you should be very proud of yourself. Motorcycling and Poetry!!! You are someone’s dream girl.
Wow, thank you so much, Ewetho! 😄 Your support means the world to me! I’m just out here trying to have a blast and share the ride (and the poetry)! 🏍✨ If I can inspire a little joy along the way, I’m happy! Here’s to more adventures-let’s keep dreaming big together! ❤️✌️
You are improving. This is why learning to ride on dirt is always best.
It's not easy learning though I won't lie 😅
Great video Saffy 😊
Thank you so much!
Theres always a nip of brandy in my first aid kit 😉
ahahahah I never thought of that one!
Keep living your best life Saffy!
I'll try 😉😁
Seems the Trolls are playing out tonight. Why? does sitting in their dark rooms doing nothing and abusing people who go out in the sun give them pleasure? Life is for living, not wasting! Go out challenge yourself to do something that frightens you. That's why I admire what Saffy does
@@dennisreid4428 so you ride a motorcycle 🏍 then sprocket always gets positive feed back if I didn’t have a full time job would do the same there’s not much I haven’t done in dangerous sports ⚽️
@@scottdiver36 Maybe I'll subscribe to your channel, then you'll have three people watching you? Then we can see how much positive feed back you receive
loving this trip mate your going brilliantly keep safe saffy cheers
Thank you so muchhhhh!
Awesome work on just getting on with it after the fall! Every time I pick up my bike (and that’s a lot of times!) I try to remember it makes me a tiny bit better.
Relax and a tiny bit more speed will keep you shiny side up, your doing brilliant loving this trip.
Slowly getting there!
Had me going with that Facebook post about it all going wrong! You did great! You got past the bad hill, coped with your phone going bad, did the trail & found the van. That's an adventure gone well all in all.
I wouldn't beat yourself up Saffy you are leading a charmed life, and are open to new learning experiences 😉keep smiling beautiful, and practice practice practice, 😘
Great guy at the start! Crazy how he got through that fence so easily though! Guess they are there for the looks more than stopping people from crossing! All you needed down that hill was a little more speed, the slower you go the less control you accually have. Not saying go fast but 10 to 15 mph would keep you upright rather than 5 to 10 mph! Awesome views!, personally I like mountain trails and wooded land scape.
Haha, thanks, Shaun! 😄 Yeah, that fence definitely wasn’t much of a challenge-more like a decorative suggestion! 😂
I lift my visor to you Staffy, well done! 😊👍...
Better to be lucky than good. As much stuff you get yourself into you manage to get out of it. Not necessarily unscathed but out nonetheless, lol. Ride safe!
Aha yes!
It is not the falling that defines us, it is in the getting back up!
AB-SOOOOO-LooooOOooT-Leeeey :D
Sounds like ya need some Bluetooth tags, Saffy. One for the van, one for the bike, one for the keys, one for yourself.
I was wandering what that serious fencing was all about, is it a motocross course ?
I reckon they watch riders outside the property on CCT in case they get into trouble. The guy had done it before - he knew exactly where to get through the fence. Good people.
I think the other side was his property and the section I was on was public trails!
Risk assessment and mitigation is a big part of living a life filled with adversity and adventure. Getting too comfortable with taking risks can be just as dangerous as not taking any risks. Like all things in life you have to strike a balance and there is nothing wrong with being cautious, that just means you recognize your limits and your willing to toe that line and maybe inch across it. That’s how we grow.
Most people have no idea what they are really capable of, toeing that line sets a person miles ahead of everyone else no matter where that line lies.
Remember to laugh at yourself, otherwise you miss all the best jokes. Besides, getting mad or being embarrassed doesn’t help you. But laughing always helps by reducing stress.
Never realised there was a desert in North West Spain, I always thought the North West was the bit that got all the rain and was therefore green. I think a lot of people will be following you down to this region - you're a pathfinder! Don't be embarrassed about falling off on in the dirt because we all do it. I think it's the only way to learn although some nervous nellies will disagree with me. When you go slow every single rock will unsettle you, go faster and the bike kind of evens-out because it's bouncing all the time - that's what its long-travel suspension is made for. You can then use your arms and legs as shock absorbers to (kind of) hover above it. Keep scanning about 20 to 50-foot ahead to spot the easiest path for the bike. Good luck!
It's not the North West. It's the South ✌🏼
@@PHope1111 Says who? According to Saffy she's in Bardenas Reales. This is located between Zaragoza and Huesca. Hence my surprise.
It is not in northwestern Spain. It is more northeastern Spain. More precisely, south-eastern Navarre, east of the Basque Country.
@@fuglbird Thank you Columbus, but my idea of north east Spain is Barcelona.
@@fuglbird Apologies Columbus. Now I've put my glasses on and studied the map I must agree with you that this region falls into the north east quadrant.
What an experience! A bit different from a rainy Northern Ireland!
Tell me about it 😂
Fair play saffy, off road has never been for me and 50 years on road I won't be starting now, But well done you, glad you bounce well, And I think your luck might be changing when a stunt man appears from nowhere and saves the day. I think it's a bit warmer there than the UK, Are you now wearing thermals back in the UK. As usual I enjoyed your video 👍.Take care from Roy 😊.
Home of the spaghetti western, as it looks like Mexico or Arizona. Areas of the globe that like every inch of it has changed over thousands of years without mankind's help and will continue to do so until the end of time. Just enjoy it Saffy 🎉
I’ve been stuck at exact the same spot with my 1200 but going upwards 😂 after that i decided it was time for a lighter bike
Little confusing when walking and hot Saffy, but with the video we do know that you made it.
Take care 'n stay COOL finding you way back from an adventure.
Thank you for the support 😌🙏
Nobody on their deathbed ever said, "I wished I'd mowed the lawn more", but many have said "I wished I took more risks." Lay her down soft.
Not sure whether you're lucky or unlucky, you don't bake a cake without cracking a few eggs.
I wish goth Saffron had done the opening.
ahahahah Goth Saffron is sleeping until Halloween!
Sprocket what a nice guy was saing same i was going to say more gass
Yes! We didn't have a common language but biker talk seems to be universal
Try to stand up more, look further ahead and keep the wheels rolling ,no front brake when going down hills like that.
I'm slowly getting there!
speed is your friend - wheels make nice gyroscopes.
Yes 😂 I learnt that now!
I'm imaging you're phone call to Honda UK, ..... you know that CL350 I borrowed, well I might be buying it 😅 😊
"Hey Honda, I'd like to buy THIS SPECIFIC version.... at ....er.... Market Value *Cough*!"
@@SaffySprocket 😂
You were lucky that where you dropped your bike, there was a hole in the massively long fence for the guy to crawl through and help you. (Or maybe the guy had specialist fence knowledge of how it all hung together?)
Looks just like western Utah & Nevada.
You are an adventurer! I've live my life the same way, was a bit adventurous in my teens to 40's. I'm 61 now, still riding with two Harley Davidson's, Pan America and 1988 Lowrider with a sidecar. I fully believe you need to enjoy life. I did a lot of dirt riding on farms in my teens, grew up around the Grampians Victoria Australia, lots of fun mountain roads, then in my late 20's and 30's I did vintage motocross on a 1974 Yamaha 400cc two stroke, and then classic track racing in my 40's on a 1971 Honda 500 four (bored out to 600cc).
Recently I've done a bit of dirt and trail riding on the Pan Am, did an adventure riding course to brush up my skills, fell off three times, no harm to me of the bike, it felt good that I still know how to come off a bike and roll. The Pan Am is mostly for road riding and commuting, very little dirt road riding planned, as I need to be a bit careful these days.
I have injured myself a lot in the past, broken left femur and the leg is 1 inch short, fractured two vertebra in lower back and have the fused with metal holding them together, fractured pelvis, and a number of other minor fractures, all from riding and some 30+ years ago. I just had a full knee replacement, it was worn out and I'm recovering from that. I love riding, great video.
The more you fail, the more you succeed.
:D There is winning and there is learning!
Hi Saffy, welcher Ort ist da in der Nähe? Möchte auch dahin! Lieben Gruß aus Berlin, Ralf
It's in Spain!
Thanks!
Wow thank you so much for your support!
You’re welcome 😊
in my case, I don't have choices when Eli and I go out. I either do things right, as much as possible or die. Enjoy!!
Saffy we're all reckless idiots but we're happy reckless idiots ye x
👌👌👌👍🤙
What you need is a motorcycle with 4 wheels on the side and you can sit on a side panel , it's called a car 🚗. 😁😎
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Sorry, but the only official, true desert in Europe, is the Desierto de Tabernas, in S.E.Spain.
Lady - you have a very WRONG bike. Plz, get yourself the NEW MotoGuzzi Stelvio, and make interesting videos.
Haha, thanks for the suggestion, Sandwaves! 😄 The MotoGuzzi Stelvio sounds epic though-how well does it bounce aha?
Saffy .Whatever possessed you to go into what looks like the loneliest place on Earth... Nice views, though
I am just a little bit mental I think
@SaffySprocket no... just adorably nutty 🙂
