They are starters. I wouldn’t use them for the whole cycle. You’ll want to transplant them into a larger cup with soil, and harden them off. They get root bound
Tomatoes and hot peppers. I don’t think you will do well with your carrots in Jiffy pots. Carrot young roots tend not to like transplanting, and the jiffy pop will split the young carrot route because it’s a little bit too hard to get through and maintain a single route. Carrot should always go on the ground directly. And call me and I’ll tell you how to do that easily.
I will! I’ll let you know how it goes with the carrots! I was planning on transplanting them into the pots/bags I bought to grow. I was thinking splitting the cornstarch wrap and just planting them. Good news is that I plan on also putting seeds directly too.
@@mattadulting I think so, as long as the roots are not all the way to the bottom. You can also just plant them and loosen the cornstarch casing. Roots are starting to stick out of them,l already. I’ll be transplanting to a bigger pot soon.
Are these able to go outside? I live in zone 9 I believe. Southeast Texas

Do you think you could gently slice the bottom out of the pod and plant that way?
