Thank you for supporting this young woman's personal appearance. Often when all your power has been taken away, reclaiming your body with body art, wild hair color, expressive clothing, and personally meaningful jewelry is a necessary part of healing. Bless her for getting back in touch with her own body and identity.

What does a tattoo matter? I really did feel strange that he acted like he needed to explain their appearance at all. It's a put down no matter how you slice it.
Where does he live that he doesn't see people with tattoos all the time? Body art is so common, is he stuck in the last century where it meant prison or war? I thought they were adorable. If you're going to do a video on me, don't explain my appearance. It's gross and hurtful.😢
I don't mean this as a criticism of your comment because I do think it's valid too.
I could be completely wrong. That's just how his comment made me feel.

@@Thundersnowy. Where do you live that you aren’t aware that people, especially people from conservative backgrounds, ESPECIALLY feminine presenting people, are commonly attacked for not conforming to expectations of appearance?
He explained it because often, reactionary thinkers don’t realize their own bias. Or aren’t aware that that is a bias that others encounter.

Jodi has daughter named Alex who's changed her last name. 2012 Jodi lost her license over a man named Adam. She broke her oath & named him to his ward within Mormon church/cult... he is so traumatized it's hard to watch him, too, relay the same type of facts over & over. Jodi lost her therapist license for 18 months. All is documented & public record.

Just listened to the 6 hr interview of Adam Steed, transfixed.
It reminds me of when the accusations of the Catholic Church, Diocese and clergy SA came out but the hostility of the Mormon church seems to be on a level that’s particularly brutal.
I think Jodi bit off more than she could chew by choosing a very visible and controversial public “content creator”. While she has been targeting and predating for decades, she just turned on a worldwide spotlight. I hope the Mormon Church will also be under it too.
I believe it will be the catalyst that stops and punishes her….and Ruby and Kevin Franke.

I agree! I was Founding Administrator of Counseling ministry at our local church. A few yrs prior I had cause to get hubby into counseling. Therapist said everything wrong, issue I was dealing with was badly abused children in my protective custody, & what I would call cruel behavior on the most broken child! Apparently I was not the only 1 to complain to head Pastor! That guy was fired fast! Our set up later was highly successful, & the programs still helping many today! But we also had accountability, & I was very selective in my referrals!

She admits that there are things that she does not know... while at the same time, telling her own story about what happened to her and offering insight into what she "thinks" could have happened with this case based off of her OWN personal experience. I think the niece interview adds so much context and background on this case. Anyone who wants to dismiss her should watch the more in-depth interview she has given. It will explain what has happened and how she ended up here today. I too am worried that Jody will escape justice because everyone is focused on the mother. I'd like to see the prosecutor explore the idea that Jody runs a semi-cult with extreme ideas and punishments. That probably won't happen because "the church" has too much power & money.

I often think to myself (having never experienced anything like this) that I would have been the wrong child to mess with (manipulate, persuade, attempt to groom), as I wouldn't have sat still for any of it. I just don't believe that the threat of punishment or exposure, or whatever other threats people of authority use to get you to do or say something that you know, with every fiber of your body is wrong, would have worked on me. Some may say that's naïve, but knowing myself, I know I would have either escaped, or gone down kicking and screaming in a way that would have become unmanageable for that authority figure. I personally believe everything Jessi is saying! She is articulate and extremely impressive and I don't see that she has anything to gain! I love her strength and courage and hope she can overcome the abuse she suffered! I feel her testifying would be a step in her healing…I am no therapist, but helping others at some extent could help ourselves heal! 💕 When I saw her first interview all I personally SAW was a beautiful young woman!

Adam on Mormon stories podcast gave a heart wrenching 6 hour interview. I watch all 6 hours. It was incredible. Jessi did an amazing interview on there as well. Watch it until the end. I cried

The boy that escaped told the neighbor who called 911 that it was his fault. They convinced him that being hungry, thirsty and having duct tape on his arms and legs are all his fault. It’s sickening. I’m hoping those children won’t have to testify. I realize that’s a big ask but I think there are going to be so many other victims coming forward, including her older children. It’s awful what they’ve done.

I found Jessi's interview to be quite believable and she's very well-spoken. By her explaining the "process" she went through with Jodi, I believe a tighter case can be built because she's basically drawn a road map leading to the crux of the belief system and intentions behind this case.

I've seen so many people prejudge bikers, or those with tattoos or long beards. These people are often the sweetest, kindest people you'll ever meet. This young lady is lovely and seems VERY credible to me. ❤

I think Jessi is a great example of how wrong off a person can be when they make judgments based on appearance. Close your eyes and listen to her speak.....she's articulate, intelligent, and when you open your eyes you see a beautiful woman who has an appreciation for art.

I appreciate this channel so much. I listen not to hear how people”feel” about cases, but to learn why things happen. Why do some people get bail and others don’t. No feelings just the facts!! Thanks for dishing out the facts!

Ty Peter & community for always being respectful & reminding all of us to make judgements based on behaviors & facts. Jessi has a wonderful interview on the YT Channel-Mormon Stories. They are a beautiful person on the inside & outside & exhibit such strength! So glad to see Jessi has as much happiness as possible, given the abuse they suffered. Hugs to all!❤

Mormon Stories had a 6 hr podcast today with a gentleman named Adam Paul, I believe, stating that Jodie ruined his marriage and life. A good listen!
