This is a Fanmade Documentary, I do not intend to make any money out of it and has been uploaded for sole entertainment purposes. As most of the Footage is already on UA-cam I would appreciate if this doesn't get deleted.

Great to see Noel and Liam getting on well during this era.
i think there were always arguments though and it finally came to head in '09 unfortunately for all the people in the gig when Noel had to say enoughs enough am gone.
Strange they made their worst music in this era too
@@IWannatalkpodcast nah it got really bad towards the end. That Hey Layla period when they were an absolutely poverty stricken and eating out of the bins man's Beatle's and Kink's.

Then that was it ......... Thus far !!!!
They'll be back, whether that be on a trip down memory lane anniversary tour of some kind or another studio album or both remains to be seen but there's no way that Oasis won't return at some point, there's too much money in it for there not to be !!!
This is the album that got me into Oasis and will always be personal favourite of mine. I’d narrowly missed out on the whole Brit Pop era and when Stop Crying Your Heart Out first dropped I instantly understood why they were so highly revered.

I was at Wembley in 2000 (the first night they used for the live DVD, not the “infamous” second night that was broadcast on Sky One) and Finsbury Park in 2002. Great memories.
What happened on the second night?
Alex bit late,but Liam was pissed and was basically ranting the entire gig.Think he was getting divorced at the time or something

lets be honest SOTSOG AND Heathen Chemistry have 4-5 good songs each and 2-3 almost good songs
Their last 3 albums were pretty much piles of crap. Each one had 2-3 songs surrounded by 10 songs of bullshit.

one of their most turbulent eras and almost always ommited, when it should be remembered for amazings gigs (finsbury park's and their amazing crowds)

Even though the later albums weren’t as good as definitely maybe ( what is, that’s a classic) they had at least 2 or 3 great songs on them. Some bands would give anything to make 1 classic song. Oasis made them on a regular basis.
Very true and none of there other stuff gets the respect it deserves. It’s because the upper class media couldn’t handle these working class lads getting so big and loved the fact they didn’t stay as big as said they were gonna, it’s like they delight in going on about how they failed! It’s bollox! The reality is all there later albums went to number 1 as did the singles , sold more then most other rock bands, were still selling out stadiums , still having shows dedicated all to them! They were still the biggest English rock band even though the times had changed and the DM and WTSMG years were never coming back! If you take away some of the songs written by gem and Andy the later albums still sound good!

this is exquisite work, thank you! Heathen Chemistry was my first Oasis album I ever listened to front to back at 14 years old and loved it, so it's a very special Oasis album for me.
Oasis were the soundtrack of my childhood into my teen's and it didn't matter where you were it was always on in the background so thank you for being there through the good times and the bad

I’m very critical at his 2002 voice because this is where the real decline started but in some gigs and with this specifically song he sounds great
I love all their albums.I have great memories about all of them.
I wish they’d get back together, even just for one album. A double album perhaps. I bet it would be fucking awesome considering the calibre of Liam and Noel’s songwriting these days. It would certainly cheer a lot of people up!

Cracking doc. Well put together, really get a sense of the arduous, relentless nature of touring. It’s so clear as well that the end of oasis begins when Lima gets his teeth knocked out. The confidence leaves him (probably traumatised by it but would never admit to that) and probably lost the nasal clarity of his head voice. If I cracked my cello, glueing it back together wouldn’t make it ring like it used to.

Paddy Partington, the chorus of Don't Go Away is entirely a rip off of the Real People. I have also seen on UA-cam how many songs were stolen, and crucially, how direct the theft was. It's not 'oh, it sounds a bit like' another song, it is theft. This Hindu Times riff one is new to me, appalling. It's such a shame, it taints Noel's songwriting, and there's no point saying, "Well why aren't people suing him?" Because no one can go up against £100m plus. 🤷♀️

Finsbury Park in 02 opening night....I was there...rock n roll!
2002 was definitely their year especially with the release of Heathen Chemistry! Best tour for the band.

Saw them Pompano Beach Amphitheater. My buddy Tom and I drove up from Key West FL doing the Cig's & Alcohol thing. Liam only played four songs. Noel had to pick up the pieces and finish the gig. We loved it. Great Noel B-Sides. AND Little By Little.

Very good underrated album
I love this era , HC wasn’t my fave album by any means , but the gigs were amazing, tv appperances amazing too. And Noel and Liam really did seem closer than ever
I also like the style of clothes they wore in 2002, like the clothes the band wore for the Heathen Chemistry album shoot.
55:55 was wondering when the Kermit voice started. Apparently it was early 2003, too bad he did not get professional help between then and Glastonbury when it sounded completely destroyed.

Always thought the Cage instrumental at the very end of the album after that long dumb gap of silence was one of their final awesome studio tracks

Oasis, the best!
To me, Stop the Clocks is the Diamond of this album. The best B-side since The Masterplan and Acquiesce. This album has Pink Floyd vibes on songs like Little by Little and The Cage.
Stop the clocks was written in this period.But was not released untill Noel went solo.

Liam is mostly incoherent. Noel’s a raconteur & he’s got a smarter grasp of what to say. Liam is by far the more striking fella.

This tour destroyed his voice. The sound at the gigs was shite, the guitars were completely overdriven, drums and bass were drowned out and I reckon he couldnt hear himself.

so while we don't really have The Hindu Times here, there's a newspaper/media house called The Hindu. unfortunately, like most media here in india, the tabloids have shitty content and the people have bad taste in english music :(

I always thought this record would have sounded much better with a heavier, darker, more psychedelic production.
It's well established that the demo of Hindu Times is far better than the final version.
Force of Nature is another tune I like, soundwise.
But the rest of the songs could really have used a real producer.....
Just went back through the albums again and 100 agree same with few songs on 'don't believe the truth'.

@@tomben6180 he/they were the worst on drugs around be here now and that next sht one i cant remember the name of. Cocaine especially seems to ruin musicians. Nirvana is the one exception, but i absolutely despise this old fashioned 'drugs give you creativity ' thing, utter crap.

People saying how good they were these days and I remember seeing them twice in 3 years (Benicassim and Palacio de Deportes in Madrid )and they were absolutely painful to watch. They were just not a decent band if you'd compare them to the amount of exciting groups coming out with splendid live shows such as Maximo Park, Mars Volta or The International Noise Conspiracy
