Interview is so interesting on their dynamic as people like for example when they are looking back on the interview they are like loving brothers but then you see around the 11:00 minute mark when they start talking over each other you can almost see them getting annoyed at each other.
I love this band, and, paradoxically, it really has very little to do with their music. I do like their sound, but if I'm being honest they don't contact my soul the way other artists do, yet theirs will remain among the brightest beams coming over the horizon for many years to come. I look at far, far, far more videos of interviews than I ever listen to the music... WTF is wrong with me?
Great interview, it’s rare seeing them together like this. I will say it was frustrating at times watching them interrupt one another and not listening to each other. Every interruption is taken so personally and they dont respect one another. Seems pretty immature.
Noel at 9:40 giving an impression of an American “is this the beatles” is so funny to me. Beneath the British smug cockiness is a really intelligent guy
I went to the apollo theatre gig in manchester for 10 years of noise and cinfusion tour and it was my first oasis and I've seen them a few times over the years but it will always be my best oasis gig. I was near the front and got to see the band up close and it was a fucking brilliant gig😅😊
noel just wont let liam talk ! liam let him lead the interview anyway but the few times he interjected noel looked so annoyed and offended which i feel created this sort of tension throughout the interview. he was the one talking the most in this so he couldve just let it slide.. 37:08 was kinda frustrating to watch tbh😅noel seems like a difficult and controlling personality which i think provokes liam into having this rebellious attitude towards him. i loved seeing their reactions to their old interviews tho. liam called it a punishment i get the vibe he lowkey was embarrassed 🤭cute
Yeah and in my opinion Noels songs gets praised to the skyes far more than what really are making em so good. And that is Liams voice and hes way of singing them.
have you read noel's lyrics mate? some of them are mega. you can relate to them. some of them are athems. and music is good too. don't forget who wrote almost all good songs. and noel can sing too, listen to the masterplan or the importance of being idle. good lyrics, music and vocals from noel. you just like to hate noel and you don't like the fact that some people think he is a genius. listen to early oasis tunes - liam's vocal is far out, but the songs were terrible. the band needed a good songwriter.
even liam admits that noel's songwriting is out of this world. he always admired his brother's talent. even thisyear he said some good words about noel's songwriting.
