It would be great if they would sell the blender to fit the NamaJ2!
John, thanks for all you do! Could you get one of these companies to do a 3way combo? Blender, Juicer, Food processor? We're half way there with Vitamix having the blender/processor combo and Nama having the blender/juicer combo. Let's petition to go all the way! 3 way combo!!!!!
I'll save my money. I already have the Nama J2 plus a Vitamix. Please show how you julienned the vegetables.
I love that you promote balance for health, rather than dogma! 👏
That’s awesome!
I love this showing recipes. Please do more
This recipe looks DELIOUS! Thanks for the "how-to" video.
Amazing content John, You are looking great and the soup sounds delicious!
Just used you code to buy my juicer/blender.!! Ty!
Omg. Wow, that looks like the tastiest soup ever.
I love your videos! Thank you for providing them. I'm going to order one soon and try vaseline to create a seal for the vacuum!
Please do more vacuum recipes! Thanks John I would buy your vacuum blending recipe book if you made one
Most standard recipes that can be blended can be vacuum blended that do not require a tamper, It is more important to have enough liquid in the blender when vacuum blending since you cant use a tamper.
Awesome I glad this came out b4 I bought the J2 🎉 two machines n one 🎉 take up less space on my counter 🎉🎉
Looks delicious. I might give this a whirl when I can get all the ingredients. I'll make a modified version using my blender instead, but wish I could afford the new juicer.

I wish I knew they were coming out with this one. I literally bought my J2 juicer last year May.

I bought mines in the spring
Great video…do you have a cook book…I also like that you are going to some cooked foods…
❤🎉Delicious Idea 💡
I want it....! 😮😍
Nice machine. You have me sold on the importance of blending under vacuum. Did you mention that Nama will introduce this feature? Thanks!
At this time, you can use my hack (about $30) to vacuum blend in the Nama C2, it does work, but is not optimal. I have been told Nama is currently working on designing a properly designed vacuum kit to add vacuum blending to the Nama C2.
Thanks John.@@okraw
I just subscribed to the channel. I am looking at healthy eating since I have a little too much muscle.
It looks great, but not available in the UK
Hello…. What Nutritional yeast do you use? In one of your You Tube videos you said yours is from Germany. Thank you for all you do. May purchase the NamaC2 and I will use your code 💕
John, please tell us about the taco seasoning! What is it? Homemade or store bought? Ingredients? Thank you!
see my amazon store: Its listed under the spices section
www.tetrapak.com/en-us/solutions/packaging/packaging-material/materials
Its frontier organic pre-made salt-free taco seasoning. Its the bomb!
At that price point, the C2 should have a stock vacuum function
Hi John,
Is it good to use the ZWILLING Fresh & Save Handheld Vacuum Sealer Machine? Or is it best to just stick with the manual one that you’re suggesting?
I know the J2 has become your favorite device for your countertop do you still do vacuum juicing? or have you decided that the nutrition differential between vacuum blending/juicing and slow juicers is negligible?
Do you leave orang and lemon peel on when juicing them?
Hey John I’m working my way into smoothies and juices, and currently using a Vitamix. The smoothies have far too air and foam though, and I’m getting discouraged. Does this happen with all equipment? I’m seriously considering the Nama C2 and am hesitant because I know if smoothies are air filled regardless I need to find another way to nourish.
When you made this a vacuum blending type set up would you compare it to a low end vacuum blender like there's still a lot of oxidation?
Needs to have the vacuum set up. What are they thinking.😮
❤
I want to buy the namac2 from you but I can't find were to go
Hi John
Love your video. Does this blender splashes when blending small bathes? I can drink only 800ml at a time (1 large Mason jar) My Vitamix 64oz container splashes everywhere inside. I hate it, ready to get rid of it and replace with something else.
I will have to test this. I usually blend larger amounts!
Quanto custa o aparelho com a parte que faz os sumos e que deita o sumo e o outro bico que sai o resido agradeço resposta e obrigado
What’s that hand pump brand?
WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO PROVIDE A VACUUM ACCESSORY FOR OR WITH THE NAMA C2
😊❤
Just curious, what is the taco seasoning made of? Did you make yourself or you bought made? Is it processed? Is it natural?
I think he mentioned before that he gets Frontier Foods organic seasonings
see my amazon store: Its listed under the spices section
www.tetrapak.com/en-us/solutions/packaging/packaging-material/materials
Its frontier organic pre-made salt-free taco seasoning. Its the bomb!
What is the price for nama c2 juicer blender from canada
Never heard of the hikma plant what is can’t find it on the net ? 🌱❤️🌞
Jicama
Tough sell with no vacuum from the factory. I can wait
John, is there a reason you don't put the pepper pulp into the soup?
To me, I have extracted the majority of the nutrients out of the pulp, so truly it is just fiber. I believe that adding other fibers, such as bean fiber or even grain or flax fiber would be more beneficial. However, I do add some freeze dried peppers, which have the fiber but also has concentrated nutrients and flavor.
So I heard u said it’s blending performance can compare to vitamix?
correct, to me the blending performance is comparable. This is based on my limited blending experience with the C2, but also manufacturer testing that I have reviewed. I will be comparing this blender in detail to a vitamix in a future episode on my @rawfoods channel.
Do you soak the cashews?
Not generally, I use so few nuts and seeds I dont have the time. Sometimes I use fermented cashew cheese instead. There are pros/cons to soaking your nuts. I eat them both ways, but mostly unsoaked for convenience.
they dont sell nama juicers on amazon so sad 😢
See ua-cam.com/video/9ypj8NZRVC8/v-deo.html for what happens when you try!
Hello, Mr. Kholer.
I use Jovial products which are glyphosate-free and certified organic. They have kidney beans packaged in glass jars, and they soak them overnight before cooking.
Also, is there an advantage to cooking instead of leaving beans raw? I like Blue Mountain Organics which soaks and sprouts, and stone grinds their raw beans into bean "flour". I believe red kidney beans are the only beans that have to be cooked at least for 5 minutes on rapid boiling. But if they are sprouted, I don't know if that makes a difference. Do you think it does? I have used the grounded chickpeas as a good and tasty thickened salad dressing.
Second the olives and seaweed have loads of salt. Do you rinse them off or soak them in water before using?
Third, the olives are packaged in BPA-NI whatever that is. . . and I cant find info on what Tetrapak is comprised of, so can you say what it is exactly?
Nicole
Jovial has good stuff for sure I would prefer glass kidney beans over tetra pack, but over either, I prefer to buy bulk dry beans and soak/sprout and pressure cook myself, which also is less.
There are pros and cons to eating beans cooked vs raw. Most beans cant be eaten raw or you could get sick and even lose your life. Resistant starches convert when cooked and cooled and are more complex. Best to eat beans sprouted raw) - if they are not toxic like lentils and heat process other beans that cant be eaten raw.
All items that come in salt, are soaked in water, and then vacuum soaked in distilled/Reverse osmosis) water to remove the salt even more effectively than soaking, and then rinsed. So very little salt content is left.

@@okraw Thank you so much!
I've been consuming raw, sprouted beans and legumes like lentils. Black beans made me sick, but maybe I didn't sprout them enough. I didn't notice any issues from lentils unless I ate large quanties of them when they barely had a tail. 🤔 The Sproutman, Inc sells raw, sprouted beans and lentils. . .so can you offer a resource that explains what you mean?
Tetrapak sounds really cool! Wow
Thanks again so much!
Dear Sir Kholer,
Want to know more about the reverse osmosis water system you are using, can you explain what did you use and process?
Maybe a good idea to make a video about it for seeds and nuts process to remove excess salt, this could interest some of us!
Also, if you have some data and research to provide about the benefits of soaking nuts and seeds versus dry/dehydrated.
Thank you so much for the content you provide, you're a gem on UA-cam!
Truly yours ❤ @@okraw
That pepper juice 🌶 will burn any cold 🥶 n flu right out of you 😂😂😂
I trust you more after hearing that you include cooked beans in your diet. I have been following Dr. Fuhrman for a while and after learning how important it is to include beans in your diet as well as to cook mushrooms so the agaritine is released (a suspected carcinogen) I view “raw” people as dogmatic and willfully ignoring the science that at least some things should be cooked before consuming. Raw for most things is great but it’s proven to not actually be the healthiest way to live when applied to the entire diet.
Save money and space in my kitchen!
this C2 sounds like its for people who like to use 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner.
Yeah I don't think this blender/juicer combo is for me. Gonna stick with the Vitamix/J2 combo that gives hot soup, plus I can grind my grains still. It is convincing, but I'll pass.
That makes absolutely no sense there's two separate containers for it
😂
The motor seems stronger than the J2, so if you have money to spare and want a machine that might last longer it could make sense to buy the C2.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜
Why not just blend the peppers to make the bas instead if juicing them. Looks good otherwise!
Probably because it would not have been a soup. It would have been like a smoothie
The texture of the soup would be WAY different. Although you could do that, also you would need to use LESS peppers, so you would not have something as flavorful or concentrated, which is what I am going for.
Yeah, that is way too expensive!😢😢
I could eat something like this say once a month.. but I do not know how anyone could live on this day in and day out... firstly, it would take about 3 hours to chop, harvest and prep all those ingredients, second - that soup probably cost you about $35 to make between all the organic ingredients and high end olives, jicama and the number of peppers. Maybe for you since you buy in bulk and good quality.. but for normal folks - too much.. not to mention the $800 machine.
I believe this meal would be categorized as gourmet raw vegan, which isn't healthy to consume regularly. I looked up the products and the olives and beans have added sea salt. I suppose if that whole bowl is not for a single meal for him alone, or if he's going to store it for use as a condiment, then it would make a lot of sense. . . It looks like there is about two cups of onions and two cups of olives!
Here is a similar recipe and the chef says it should last for about a month because she keeps the base separate and only uses a couple spoonfuls of it like a boulion. ua-cam.com/video/j5qcrfj-BFw/v-deo.htmlsi=A6zGxt4OD8dWQo4c
@@NicoleCB to me this is not gourmet raw vegan. This is everyday eating. I eat about 4 cups of this soup as a meal. Soimetimes I might eat 2 cups and then some heat processed veggies also. the onions are SWEET onions, with little heat, and the olives and seaweed were pressure soaked to remove excess salt. This is a low fat recipe.
@@okraw this makes sense. thanks for clarifying! If i knew about pressure soaking I could have been saved health issues from consuming olives and cooked beans with all the salt added in.
