Nice video, before watching this i thought showreels were the tipe of video were i could like showcase my works of photoshop, illustrator, AfterEffects, Premiere and Blender. But i guys this is more suited for for video works.
im gonna keep searching the net on the best way to show case all my works. basically a Video portfolio.

Bro i started editing on 1st Jan 2024 (although i have previous experience of basic editing which i gain from my yt shorts channel started in 2022 but after uploading 50-60 shorts and getting no results i dropped it so by default editing also dropped) so i set a goal for my self in next 3 months ( Jan feb march ) i learned short form editing at preety decent level and close my first client and make my first $300 ( particular this amount in the sense im thinking to charge $10 per reel so 30 days 30 reels 300 dollars )
Jan - learning purely editing
Feb - learning about client acquisition also improving editing skills
March - hope so i will close my first client and start working and making money so this my rough plan what's your thoughts or suggestions on this.

Hey man I recently discovered your channel and am loving it. I’ve been video editing as part of my job (in real estate marketing) for a few years now, but I feel like my skills have plateaued. I want to go from intermediate to pro. Do you have a course or something that goes in depth in how to edit like you and how to land clients? There’s so much valuable info on your channel it’s a bit much to take in, having a structured course would be worth the investment imo. Thank you !

Thank you for the kind words! A course is something that I’ve always wanted to do but have yet to find the time to actually make one. Maybe that’ll be the plan for Q1 of this year. In terms of landing clients and going more in detail on life of a video editor I was thinking of podcasting for that? What do you think?
