you need to check with your medical doctor first before trying any of these out. holding your back flat against the floor may not even be possible for someone with scoliosis and can badly damage the spine.

Thank you! I need core strength. I lost it since i had my fourth baby 2 years ago. I do pilates off and on. Im just not core strong. My back hurts after i bend over for even a min and then stand straight up again.

seems you have a weak "core" yourself when you have to grab your knees and rock yourself up.with momentum

Why can't I bring my knees up to my belly while keeping the knees together? There has to be like 10-inch wide space between them and 90 degrees is maintainable only for 3 to 5 seconds.. 60 seconds seems so far out of reach I just wanna give up

there could be a number of reasons for this
      1. tight hips
      2. tight glutes
      3. obesity
      4. weak leg muscles
      etc.

@@morrisboris6877 obesity does it. With this exercise - I can't breathe if I try to bring them closer to chest, either. 🙁

You do not wear out discs by flexing the spine. Myth. The body heals itself. This evidence came from cadavers. The exercise you demonstrated is good though. I do like your videos
