This medley would be perfect if the Doctor dies.
He will be on Gallifrey, alone with the Master and a companion, emotionnal speech then silence.
After, we will see the Doctor's dead body and the Gallifreyan ceremony with the Doctor's confession dial with a paper on it.
And last scene, the companion and the Master will read this paper, which contains the biggest secret of the universe : his name.
Corentin M the master already knows his name, they were friends as children. He didn't have the name The Doctor as a child
I always felt like when the doctor is about to die he will visit is granddaughter after he was the curator then maybe they travel back to trenzalore.to get buried

Rose went away, so the Doctor is blue. Ask Donna"Where's the Doctor?". She'll reply "Doctor Who?". Sarah Jane and Martha and now both the Ponds, had their fun with the Doctor and now they've all gone. So ask me again why the Tardis is blue, there's a sad man inside with both hearts torn in two...
I know that most youtube comments are just put out there for attention of some kind but I just want to let you know that this made my day and helped me out during my college homework as I love to listen to great music and to have all this in one place was super nice. Great edit and I really appreciate it so THANK YOU.

I feel that the one trick they missed in The Day of the Doctor, in the scene where the eleventh, tenth and the war Doctor contact Gallifrey High Command and offer them their last-ditch attempt plan to save the planet - is starting that scene off with a bit of the Gallifrey leitmotif, ca 9:05. It has a bit of that "awakening" or "dawn" like atmosphere. Only a few seconds of it, though, just as a hint of things not being lost yet. Then it would transition into the theme heard when the three Doctors fly into lower orbit, and then into the variation of the eleventh's theme, as heard in the special, when the other incarnations start arriving in their TARDISes. The Gallifrey theme was the one bit of music, only just a short snippet of it, that I was missing in that whole awesome scene. :-)
This music some how makes me nostalgic for a place that I have never been. Absolutely brilliant

This is a medley of almost all my favorite Dr Who music since 2005! Absolute brilliance.
This is beautiful! It's perfect for characterization of a character who's been eluding me with her past. She loves Gallifrey with all her heart, and although she had to leave it in the middle of the Time War, she longs to return someday. :D

It then pans to a man in a stylish coat walking down a street in a top hat and he turns around revealing a vest with a gallifreyan design sewn into it and the screen goes black and all we hear is a voice say "they once again thought they could tell me the rules" the man who we now know to be the doctor chuckles and the credits roll

I love these tracks, and I love the fictional culture it's a leitmotif for.
That said, I feel like a lot of people miss the point of the Time Lords and what happened to them. They were lazy, an indolent old empire built on the backs of millions with a revisionist history to hide their horrors. Their Lord-President was a tyrannical power-hungry time-lord chauvinist. Living on Gallifrey and being a Time-Lord means you carry the legacy of a broken, fallen empire which only awoke to fight a war which could've ended the universe.
Gallifrey wasn't heaven. It wasn't perfect, and the fact that every time we see larger Time Lord society we see it from the perspective of the one who chose to abandon it shows us that maybe they're not as perfect as those from there would like to believe. Even though the Doctor remembers their childhood fondly, even he realises that that society didn't really exist.
The point of the Doctor is not that Gallifrey and the people it produced are so great, but rather that there's so much more to the universe than where you come from. Being a Time Lord or even the average Gallifreyan wouldn't be a fairytale.
Nice collection! You should add 'No More' from DotD, that'd really complete this :-D

Actually, I was never into the theme, during its original run, until Glarorian, but looking back on it, the story was fantastic! The elemental To a, the feeling of mystery...it was all so great. I wish I had experienced growing up with it. However I find it plain stupid that the black toa who spends time in caves is Onua, Toa of Earth, while the brown one, who spends time in deserts is Pohatu, Toa of Stone. Shouldn't it be the other way around, with stone being black and in caves, and earth being brown and in deserts?
I actually have grown up with it since 2002, Pohatu was my first Bionicle. My favorite era of Bionicle was the Metru Nui one from 2004-05. Yeah, I think it is weird that Earth and Stone are two seperate elements, I always thought they should be the same, like in the Avatar universe and everything else.
