I love tripe - there's no way to describe it to people who are unwilling to try it, other than to say they don't know what they're missing. And, I absolutely love the soundtrack!
I havent had beef tripe since I was married in the 80's. My then husband's grandma taught me how to fry it. I loved it. Gonna get some in a couple days when I get paid. thx for posting !! This looks yummy.
In the UK and Australia, tripe is already cooked & bleached, so can even be eaten “raw”. My grandfather loved it with just salt and vinegar. Our tripe can easily be breaded and fried without any prior preparation.
@@ClarissaCulinary we don’t have canned tripe in Australia. I didn’t ever see that in the UK either. It is all bought pre-cooked and bleached from the butcher. I think it is law in both countries that it has to be cooked and bleached before it can be sold for health reasons.
Wow! You did this just as my mom does. I loved when my mom cooked tripe for dinner. You did an amazing job. I've always loved when mommy cooks it. However, I never knew all the steps it requires. Makes me realize how awesome she is. Now, I'm getting ready to call her and ask her to please make some. Thank you
I boil MY tripe about 5 hours maybe 6. I do season as well sometimes i dip them first in egg then flour for that xtra crunch. Of course hot sauce. Right out the skillet.

They do have it in a can bleached and precooked here in the US but the price is 4 times what you would pay for it fresh.

American tripe is bleached and should be rinsed and then parboiled and drained to remove any residual chlorine.
Sorry but black folk don't eat raw food 😒
Where can I buy it?
Very well done. Esp. like the narration and music. Very classy.

Yes
Yes
I heard of fried tripe so thank you for sharing. Oh yes I would try it if someone else cooked them.
How long to boil the tripe
I've never had tripe. Been reading recipes & several say not to use flour. It will stay crispy longer if you use a starch instead.
Thank you. I love it so much it does not make the frying pan.
Sounds good. Next time I make it I’ll skip the frying pan👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
When boiling tripe use bicarbonated of soda to make it soft
I like to soak mines in vinegar after boiling for about 1 hour, then fry it. 😋
That sounds gooooood, I will try it.
I never had this before
