    Story NO. 2...

    • @MegaKat
      @MegaKat Рік тому +23

Just want to second this. My sister was drunk over here at my house, and she is a VERY obnoxious drunk. I love her, but it's true, and she has a drinking problem that she won't admit even to herself. It's incredibly frustrating, but she's my sister and I love her.
In late September, she was *wasted* and had gone sad drunk, was bawling everywhere. But we're a 21:00 household, period. Especially on a school night. So I started getting mad because she's claiming to try to find her shoes, but I kept catching her stealing more of my booze like she thought she was slick or something. Finally, she left the kitchen, so I hid the booze in my tool closet, behind the chainsaw.
Anyways, now she wants to sleep over and she trying to snuggle with me and my husband and I told her "NO" very firmly; my husband sleeps naked and he's incredibly modest. So finally get her home after more bullshit and my sister begging me 19 million times for another drink.
I wake up the next morn and my eldest texts me what's up with his cousins? None of them were in the bus. So I call my sister over and over with no answer. No answer to texts, either. So I get my blind cane and my shades and make my way through the woods to her house. Her (now) ex informs me that my 8 year old niece found her mother in a pool of blood. She'd slit her wrists, she even done it the right way and needed 24 staples. Ultimately she was ok, but they IVC'd her for nearly two weeks, and I tell you what, having 7 kids instead of just 3 is a master level lesson in patience lol
So yeah, don't leave your drunk friends/family alone, y'all.

A late reply, but perhaps some newcomers might be interested - the kitchen was not in use at that time, because it was being renovated. • @davidpahlka6301
      @davidpahlka6301 5 місяців тому +1

Why did you do a project on the Heaven's Gate cult?
False religions, false cults and false faiths upset me for some reason. Two
good friends, both Christian, one Protestant, the other Catholic, tried to convert
me but the Mother of my children is Jewish, presenting a big problem.
At the time, I was later to find out in a week, Marshall Applewhite filmed his
death video. I wrote eight pages frantically on why I could not convert by
faith alone. Stepping out on my front porch and looking to the sky, there was
a figure of a 'Q' in the clouds. It seemed like a hundred thoughts went through
my mind, then came a spiritual calmness with the idea, "It is O.K. to question
as long as you respect all faiths."
I searched the Old and New Testaments then searched my dictionary for
the perfect words. Then I thought, "What if the figure 'Q' was formed all the
time in the clouds but just never noticed it?"
45 minutes had passed. Then I looked in the direction of San Diego and
a second 'Q' cloud configuration had formed, this time more perfectly. Only
once again have I witnessed a 'Q' sign but that was for a brief instant on
May 10 when a Christian friend was skeptical of my sightings. On May
10 a former member of the cult committed suicide in Texas.
While the Heaven's Gate cult didn't force mass suicide like Jim Jones
did, Applewhite had a tremendous influence over his victims. In 1995,
as a cab driver, I picked up Terry Nichols, one of the Oklahoma City
Bombers and he believed an asteroid would strike the Earth, that our
government knew about it and was lying to us. Doomsday or the "End
of Days" comes from the Book of Revelation and devout Bible scholars have
proven it is a fraud, not written by John a disciple of Jesus but by another
as propaganda against Nero whose name in Greek equals #666.
It was either Terry Nichols or Tim McVeigh who was influenced by
some of Marshall Applewhite's writings. Waco, which prompted the
Oklahoma City Bombing by McVeigh was in Texas, not far from where
      Applewhite was from.
      I have a photograph of a UFO dated March 14 , 1954. I am into coincidences
in history. Galello died January 8, Stephen Hawking was born on that date and
died March 14, the same date as when Albert Einstein was born. I was born
December 25 under similar circumstances as Sir Isaac Newton.
The terrorist Terry Nichols was born on April Fools Day, 1955. I do not
believe in an accidental Universe like most atheists, whom I hate.

To be clear here they only talked to the concierge at the main counter, so its not the entire staffs fault but i get your point. As for the police, im iffy on this one honestly. A teenage girl was at a party and got separated from her friends. Her friends claim they werent drinking so the girl SHOULD be of relatively sound mind... not really an emergency here. Oh we dont see her leave the hotel anywhere either? and we can see all the doors? ok so shes still in the building. Shes probably at another friends room or something she will turn up. ITs not stellar police work but i can see that as logical. NOW if the staff had given them ALL the damn footage they might have been able to save her

One time we saved a girl cause this guy one of our friends sort of knew gave about 5 of us girls a ride home to my place. We were getting out and he tried to keep the really intoxicated girl in his van saying he knew her and was taking her to her place. She was passed out in the front seat and he even held onto her arm as we got her out trying to pull her back in. We said no and the four of us girls carried her in the house. Turns out she didn't even know who the guy was who gave us a ride home the night before and the friend who sort of knew the guy....the guy was a friend of a friend of her cousin and she barely knew who he was. It was crazy and we were glad we stuck together. We all commented how he tried so hard to keep our friend in the van...never saw him around again when we went to parties. The second one with the young lady that ended up in the freezer, it's good to get the backstory to this. I actually stumbled upon that on one of those you know death shows or whatever and they just showed the young lady when she was already deceased in the freezer. There's a little bit of information given but not like you just gave us so it's nice to have all that info because I always wondered how the heck she would end up in there.

Very sad about Kenika Jenkins's death. I feel for her mother, family and friends. A couple of weeks ago, late at night, I walked into my local 7/11. After waiting for a few minutes for someone to attend to the register, I walked to the back of the store calling out to see if anyone was there. I didn't hear anything at first, so I turned to leave. Then I heard frantic knocking from inside the drinks refrigerator, opened the drinks door whereupon the employee said he was trapped and asked me to come around to where the door is and let him out. I did. He'd been stuck there for 45 minutes! Seems like those walk-in refrigerators should be made with doors that can be opened from inside.

Same thing happened to me when I was a manager at a convenience store. I was in the cooler/freezer stocking drinks and frozen item and somehow something had fallen in front of the door to get in or out and I could only open the door an inch. This was super early in the morning and no one came in for like 30 minutes and I was in a T-shirt & shorts and I was freezing! Finally a regular customer came in for coffee and I was able to get his attention and he picked up what turned out to be a push broom and let me out.

You definitely couldn't show anyone the security footage regardless of how you feel about it. It's a privacy issue and hotel policy for a reason. It would be a nightmare if people found out that a desk clerk just allowed whoever to view security footage- all it would take is for anyone to claim "missing person" and you'd have to show them because "you let that one lady look". There's a reason hotels don't disclose who is in the hotel to random people. As for looking yourself- that's if you had access yourself. If you've worked at hotels then you know regular desk clerks have no authority and their job doesn't include security. Depending on the setup, you might be able to see the current camera view but not be able to review old footage. That's something usually a manager has to do.
