    Helpful video, if you make it through and get to the screen that asks for an activation code you're finished, just login to the web gui using the phone's IP address and configure it to your provider.

    Just to be clear:> I have a Cisco CP-8845-K9= V03 I bought that is not 3PCC. It can be converted to 3PCC by buying a license? If true is the license the only cost to do the conversion?

      other than the cost of your third party pbx, as far as i am aware the migration license is the only cost to use it on 3pcc

    Thanks so much. I watched the video i understand up to the point of activation code. Please i do have a few question i hope you can help me clarify.
    The plan is for us to register the phone with our freepbx server after conversion.
    Does the license also comes with the activate code? or it's not compulsory i put activate code, so i can skip it?
    Does the conversion license expire or is it one time purchase?
    Thank you

    • @CiscoSal
      @CiscoSal  3 роки тому +2

      I would just buy the phone as a 3pcc phone so you don’t have to worry about the license. If you already have the phone then you will need to buy the license. It’s a one time fee and it converts the phone. There is no activation code. That’s if you were registering it to Cisco’s hosted phone system (webex calling). If you use Cisco’s cloud system then you obviously wouldn’t need to purchase the licenses either.
