Ben, you’ve become a great water feature builder and a great UA-cam presenter! Good job explaining the secrets of setting a spillway. Rather than having the GoPro so far away when finishing it off, try having it close enough that we can see the details. I’d like to see the same kind of video showing how you hide a BioFalls. That’s a little harder for us.
Awesome video & info Ben, exactly what I needed for my project ! What type of connection do you use from your solid PVC white line from the Vault to your flexible black line ? ? I am thinking running mostly solid 60-70 feet from the Vault to my waterfalls & then connecting both ends with flexible black 3inch piping . Just need to know what connections I need ? Thx again 👍⚾️
how do you keep the liner up coming out of the vault though? donyou just build the grade up around the liner to keep it being a low point or leaking? or do you foam it? sorry i just asked so many questions at once lol
I just build the grade up so that I don't have a low edge. But usually that is the lowest point of the basin and if you overfill the basin that will be the first place that it will spill out.
Good luck with the project. If you're starting a feature of your own watch, Mastering the art of edgework and Rethink how you build waterfalls. Both super helpful videos if you're about to start on a project of your own.
I am using a 3 inch 70 ft line from pump to the waterfall but having trouble finding a 2 inch male to 3 inch slip coupler from my 2 inch pump outlet to my 3 inch line . Where did you get yours ? ? Thx again ! 👍

Agree with that reached a point and it was like screw it were done give them the beauty shots except they didn’t show the spillway with running water

Hi, great video, really helpful in helping me plan my waterfall, one question though do you use any filtration in your systems?
We use aquascape products!

A regular 3 inch PVC coupler. The plumbing between is interchangeable.

Each job has a different amount! :)

I talked to Ben and he said it's a 2 inch thread into the pump to a 3 inch slip - probably from Lowes!
Thx 👍
