    I love this!!! Nobody ever talks about the excavation process. This way makes it wayyyyyy easier. Gonna save us some serious time and money.

    Could you do a video on installing the lighting system, dosing system, and electrical!? If it’s far from an outlet, how do you get power close, and also how do you connect all the lights wires and dosing system efficiently as well! Love your channel and you guys are amazing!!! Thank you for all the advice and videos! I hope to start building waterfalls and ponds soon!

    This is an excellent approach on how to enjoy learning this type of construction process and admiring the outcome. Fantastic work 👏🏼!

    Awesome video Ben. I watched the one on building waterfalls a few months ago as well. A video u could do, that would help me tremendously would be to instruct us on how to use the laser and grade stick. For the life of me, I haven't been able to find a video that sufficiently teaches how to use one. I am out there in my yard using a string level or eyeballing it!! And of course eyeballing it, never works or comes out as well as knowing for certain where u are at with pool depths, cascade heights etc etc. I learn a lot from your channel Ben. You guys at Tussey know how to do it for sure.

    Note to editor: Chopping up the narrative by removing all the gaps between words is the most annoying technique possible. Just let it play naturally. Ben is a natural on camera, but you’ve turned him into a robot. So stop it please. 😱

      Agreed. I'm very interested in the content but had to stop watching due to the unnatural, jerky narration.

    Love your videos, I have river rocks in our area plenty, limestone very expensive. Will it work with river stones?

    • @Tusseylandscaping
      @Tusseylandscaping  7 днів тому

      I can't see why it wouldn't! You will want to check in with your local landscape store, a non box store will give you the best and most personal answers to your specific area!

    Really nice video, and falls. Built my first pond for a client recently. Used MO fieldstone so focused on your channel while preparing and building
    Watched both the videos you linked in this multiple times--as well as an old Atlantis Water Gardens vid where they teach how to make pooling areas in a pondless with Brian from Aquascape. Great info, thanks again for all the work you put into showing this stuff. Do you guys ever seed grass at least part way up the berm instead of mulch for the whole thing? I seeded white clover in some spots to bring the lawn up to the feature more naturally and was wondering if there is a reason its not done much (besides trimming being a potential hassle, hence using the short clover).

      We like to use mulch and landscaping for finishing our jobs. We love the aesthetic value that it brings to the water features instead of just grasses.

    Do you have any tips for a 20’-22’ long but only 2’ of elevation stream/waterfall? Building on my own so bonus points for building with 1-2 man boulders and smaller…

    Is the top aquablocks surface lower than the ground around them by a couple inches or are they the same level?

    Great video Ben as always. Have a question about the boulders you use on all your water features. Are they sourced locally from your area in Pennsylvania or does Tussey Landscaping Have them shipped in from out of state sources?

    • @gangofgreenhorns2672
      @gangofgreenhorns2672 3 місяці тому +1

      Most of what they use is Missouri fieldstone from said state, though the less expensive features use locally sourced rock. I think sometimes PA fieldstone is used on expensive stuff, but MO fieldstone is what they're known for.

    • @Tusseylandscaping
      @Tusseylandscaping  3 місяці тому +1

      We locally source our boulders. We do not have them shipped in. They are generally sandstone boulders that we can find in the mountains and fields near us!

    • @Tusseylandscaping
      @Tusseylandscaping  3 місяці тому +1

      No, we use locally sourced boulders now. They have used outsourced limestone boulders in the past, but no longer do. The ones that we work with are generally sandstone boulders that are found in our mountains and our fields close in location to us.

      @@Tusseylandscaping Oh cool, good on you guys for being more sustainable honestly. Your features obviously still all look great with the new rock; was noticing a lack of MO and more PA recently lol.

      Most of them just require a 20 amp circuit.. We usually dig a ditch to the house and get a licensed electrician to run conduits to an outdoor landscape post.

    You should show how you ran the plumbing to the top falls section. Do you bulkhead through the liner or hang the pipe over the liner and then hide it with stone, gavel and dirt?
