I think people who say this "isnt very easy" haven't actually spent 20 minutes trying to play it. Its the same 4 3-note pattern with the left hand, and the right thumb stays on G the whole time (just moving octaves once). No tricky note rhythm. It may look like a lot if youre just playing the video, but this is very possible to learn for beginners
I‘m a beginner and I was able to play the whole song within 30 minutes or so at half speed, i now only need to practise it on full speed and playing without mistakes :) so yeah it is very much possible to learn this!
Ok, but how do you play with each hand making a diferent rhythm?
@@Lu5600 It's still hard imo. I'm a beginner too (started playing 3-4 months ago), and I struggled a lot to learn it. It took me like a week to learn (1-2h a day). And my rythme is sometimes kind of janky. So yes, it's a beginner song. But no, it's not that easy.
Edit : And I think it's depend on people. The more young you are, the more quick you'll learn.

@@Iris-1503 keep on the work, it'll pay, believe me. And don't try too much if you're not going anywhere. Sometimes your brain needs to rest to learn and create the connections.
This song is considered easy because there are very few notes and chords to memorize, and it's very repetitive.
But it's a ridiculous way to rate a piece imo. Okay, you'll learn the piece quickly, but are we playing piano or memorising a poem?
The rythme in this song, and the desynchronization is more like a medium song, and that's why it feels so difficult for beginners.
But people tend to forget how difficult learning something is hard, when they become better.

RyanWisemanMusic I've been playing for about a year. It seemed daunting at first but once you slow it down and see how the notes meld together it isn't so bad.

When I was growing up I was in love and worshipping silent hill, I wanted to learn the song really badly, I would try everyday but only got so far. At one point I remember mastering each hand but not being able to play them simultaneously, frustrated and annoyed, I gave up on it. Few years go by I gave it another shot with some new but not out of the world skills I had gathered and now I can play it flawlessly with ease. I am in no way a good piano player, but I think my dedication and love for this song really drove it in. I play and I listen as I fall in love with the song, it’s so melodic and therapeutic. Keep practising people, when you hear this beautiful song coming from your fingertips, it’s a new level of therapy.

I was the same way, I was obsessed with Silent Hill when I was 12-14 and I learned each but could never play them simultaneously either. I'm about to learn again since I'm almost 23 and I have the same keyboard I learned it on the first time so imma give it another shot and I know I'll get it (: I also had a guitar as a kid but couldnt learn each hand either due to my horrible ADHD and my fingers were too small to reach across the neck of the acoustic I had when I was 15. I cant wait to start learning again 😭🖤

I learned to play this song on my keyboard when I was about 13 or 14 and I still remember the main sound of this and can still play it to this day, even if i havent played it in years. I sadly could never get the two hands down, i tried practicing on each hand but my ADHD makes it so hard to use both. Now that I'm almost 23, I'm gonna start playing again and hopefully learn songs fully on my keyboard. I also learned Victor's piano solo from Corpse Bride when I was 15 and I want to learn to play that again too.
This piece was my first independent hand songs very good and easy for beginners would recommend!

The right hand is actually super easy once you get the feel for it so if you tackle each hand seperately you can probably have this song down in a few days. I find these synthesia tutorials easier than than actual music sheets its easier to just memorize it than read from a sheet repeatedly on a barline

For those who cant play with their 2 hands at the same time just begin to play the part of your left hand. When you have it, play the part of your right hand. Then do it with your two hands at the same time but very slowly. I did that and now this song is very easy. Hope it will help.

Mike Hall There's a monumental amount you can learn about the Piano after a year, but about a specific piece?
I'd have to disagree. With this one in particular. It is just repeating the same thing over and over again. As soon as you get it once, you get it every time.
I "mastered" this in around 15-20 minutes, and I'm no more talented than the next guy. There's no reason somebody new who has the love for the instrument can't do it within a reasonable amount of time.
This song freaks me out because I have a dream every Sunday about me in a dark room, and in the distance is a creepy tall man playing the piano to this song. It's makes me want to cry :(

It's "easy" because there isn't much beat variation or even any octave movement.
That said, for people who just aren't used to the piano it can be hard to get used to.
It's actually very easy guys, I don't know why beginners would even try playing this song but experienced, it's pretty easy

it gets easier once your hands gets used to the keys. process is just slow. i started by getting used to the song by one hand at a time. currently my right hand can ace it's part and my left is no longer that wobbly. next part is trying to get my hands co-operate :D

Silent hill 2 is one fo greatest survival horror games ever made. The story and symbolisim in that game is fantastic.

Took a few weeks for me to play hands together - if you haven’t played piano then it can seem a little tricky but with practice - you will get it no problem.
Work both hands separately - then take it very slow doing hands together. Then refine what you have learnt. Good little tune

I don't care what people say, but the first silent hill movie was good in my opinion. The second one not so much, it could have been way better. :/
2 nd movie was shit. 1st movie was ok and even good in its own way (but ofc nowhere near our expectations). If u want to learn Akira Yamaoka songs I recommend getting bass clef (left hand) on automatic level of playing. His left hand arpeggios is nowhere near as hard and tricky as those of classical music composers, and yet they provide beautiful bass sound for his compositions.

I learned this piece on Musecore and I love it, it's really easy once you got the beat of it, someone already said before, it only takes a couple of hours and you can do it. Incredibly beautifully sad piece too.

I find practicing individual parts helps. I skipped over the first few beginning note and right now focusing on when the music picks up for the right hand

+Pyromaniac Im not sure you can but once you play on one a bit you will get used to using both hands,Because when i first started i tried using both hands i ended up hiting the notes at the same time as my right hand so it just takes some practice,dont worry you will get used to it fast,It only took me 1 week and now i can play any song with both hands now so dont give up i know it will feel like you will never be able to play but trust me its very easy once you get used to it.
