Nuvole Bianche... in English "White Clouds", the title fits Ludovico's composition so well, tranquil, calm, effortless, floating. Ludovico receives a lot of negativity from the classical world due to his simplicity, though I think the simplicity of his work is also the beauty of his work. It's not trying too hard to evoke complex emotions or challenge audiences, it's creating a canvas for you to get lost in your own thoughts, and I think everyone needs a little bit of that sometimes. Hope you have an excellent Monday.
Rousseau Ludovico is a wonderful composer, I really enjoy "le onde" If you're taking request might I recommend something by Jóhann Jóhannson, I'd love to see what you could do with his work, keep up the great work!
this piece perfectly embodies the vibe for you to get lost in your own thoughts. I was having trouble placing the words to describe the feeling I was getting but that is it.
To be honest i felt exactly like the classical world... Maybe its me, but i think the song is quite boring - modern even (which is almost everytime a bad thing)
I love this song so much, but I can’t listen to it for more than a couple seconds before I start crying. I’m 15 now, but when I was 11 I remember my mother would play this piece and it was always my favorite. Unfortunately, for my 12th birthday my parents were on their way home buying an old record player for my birthday when they were both struck and killed by a drunk driver. Hearing this song gives me a feeling that my parents are sitting by me and my mother is playing this song. It’s amazing how powerful music is the bring back such vivid memories. I love this song so much and it bring me great memories, but also memories of my 12th birthday. The record player by parents got me survived the crash. Besides a crack on the top right and the lid broke off it still works. I haven’t been able to find a vinyl copy of this song, but if anyone can find one please let me know. I want it so my parents in heaven can see how much i appreciate them, their gift, and how much I love them. I pray for them everyday and hope they are listening. I even pray for the man that hit them because I couldn’t imagine how hard it is for him to live with himself after what he did. If I could ever be able to talk to him I would forgive him and I’m sure my parents would look down and support me because my parents always told me “Forgiveness does not change the past, but it does enlarge the future”. I didn’t really expect to write all this in a youtube comment, but I guess there’s my story.
I learned to play this by breaking it down into sections and drilling one section a day for several hours, or until I was confident. *** Here's my method: *** Section 1 = 0:03 - 0:32 Section 2 = 0:33 - 0:56 Section 3 = 0:57 - 1:21 Section 4 = 1:22 - 1:47 Section 5 = 1:48 - 2:14 Section 6 = 2:15 - 2:59 Section 7 = 3:00 - 3:28 *Repeat sections 1 - 7* (Finale) Section 8 = 5:42 - 6:17 I really hope this helps someone! Good luck!
@@ahmadfarhan992 I didn't really keep track because I simply just enjoyed practicing it everyday. But I would estimate about 3-4 months because I'm completely self-taught. It may be quicker for others with formal training or years of experience.
Just discovered this song via a stranger playing a piano in public...got to say, less than 30 seconds in and it is already such a blessing to my ears...this piece of music is legendary and the vibe it gave is unreal...

Seuss God, someone commented this when the ether story of black ops ended...I definitely shed a tear I grew up on black ops...The sounds come back to me The iconic black ops 1 multiplayer music Something that will always be stuck inside my head It will never leave
The thing I love about Ludovico is both hand plays its own beautiful song but he finds a way to make those tow songs dance together beautifully. His music pulled me out a really dark place. Thank you Ludo!!
About a year and a half ago, I heard this song on this channel, and was so inspired that I took up piano for the first time in my life. Last week, I played this song for my wife at our wedding. Thank you Rousseau for what you do.
My favourite thing about this song are the pauses. More specifically, the great relief when you realize that the song goes on and it was only a pause, not the end
This song doesn’t need to be complicated. Ludovico understands emotion on a fundamental level, and Nuvole Bianche is a prime example of that fact. This song connects with all of us because it is meant for all of us. It doesn’t tell us what to feel; it reminds us how to feel. The value of raw emotion in music cannot be overstated. Long story short, I love this song and I’m so glad to see all the others who feel the same way.
Una Mattina, Experience, Run, Life, in a time lapse, Flora, The path of the fossils (any day), L´Origine nacosta, any song from any album of this guy has something unique to tell even when they are a combination of very similar musical elements. What a genius
I might be smiling, but that’s just to hide the pain of loneliness. I might be kind, but that’s to help with loneliness. I might be loving, but I can’t love myself. I don’t want others to feel the same emptiness as me. 10/3: Since I found God, I’ve gotten happier. Something amazing that happened at church yesterday was how I asked God to use me in some way, as a sign he was here with me. He asked me to console two of my friends (I’m not revealing names) and he gave me a sign. Once the song came on, I fell to my chair, and cried. I immediately thanked God for giving me the sign that he was protecting me. I still thank God for that moment.
When I was younger I always heard this song and thought it was beautiful, and now I finally found it. My mom has stage 4 cancer and she will pass soon. I'll most likely be playing this at her funeral. I love you mom❤ UPDATE: 3 months later 25/12/2019, christmas day, she unfortunately passed away. Thank you all for the nice messages. Thank you mom for always caring for me and our family. I love you, rest in peace angel ❤
…my dad has stage four cancer as well I will pray for her and your family I will hope you all the best with what your going through an remember people are there for you
diagnosed with recurrent depression disorder for 7 years. found out i have a colon cancer last year. family's a wreck. i can't see a future where i'm in. it is literally hard for me to dream and choose a career to take. the only thing that is saving me from falling is dancing. it's hard to breathe and feel. but my passion keeps me... moving. i wanna just dance the pain and nothingness away. i wanna feel alive. recently, it is again heavier than usual. i couldn't get it off me. it's more painful when you did everything to feel better but it wouldn't just let you. now, i just found out this piano cover and cried hard with this song. white clouds. it's where i wanna be. thank you.
“Life is like a piano; the white keys represent happiness and the black show sadness. But as you go through life's journey, remember that the black keys also create music.”
I love how this song changes its tone depending on my mood. If I'm sad it makes me tear up but if in extremely happy it makes me feel even more so. Its beautiful how my mood can dictate what the sing is portraying
this and river flows in you will always have a special spot in my heart. my great aunt was my piano and violin teacher from my age of 4. i'm 16 now, and she passed away 3 months ago. these were the first 2 songs she ever taught me on the piano. every time i play them on piano or violin, i can close my eyes and just imagine her sitting next to me praising me. im crying just typing this.
She’s looking down at you smiling, everytime you play either song you’re making her prouder and prouder each time. Keep your head up man, it gets easier, I promise
For those hesistating to try, i strongly suggest y'all to just do it. It took me only 3 hrs to learn it and a week to master it. Some tips: 1. Learn and be clear of the 4 chords of the left hand as the whole song only have these 4 chords. 2. For right hand, do not just blindly read from the sheets and play note by note for the entire piece. Find patterns as alot of it is mostly repetitive. 3. Practise slowly and do not rush to finish the entire song in 1 day. Just do it slowly and make sure you are clear on the notes. (This helps in muscle memory) 4. Lastly NEVER NEVER give up. It may be hard or boring but trust me, satisfaction is what u will get after learning this piece. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF Edit: Thanks guys! Always happy to help :D
@@aviral.rabbit As you can see, you don't need all the 88 keys on a piano so you can play in on a keyboard. Just use the middle C as a reference and you'll be fine (I guess?). I learned to play this song and in my opinion, it's easier than you think (especially because you only have to learn the first half and the end, since almost everything from the second part is from the first!). I played this song when I played in front of an audience for the first time; I wasn't sure if this was the right choice because I couldn't play it well when I had to choose a song for that performance, but I thought this song was so beautiful that I had to learn this before I had to perform :D Good luck learning this song you all!
I honestly love this piece, I can only describe it like a person who is sad but still has hope and keeps trying toward their goal. It like their life is getting better and better until it hits 3:30. 3:30 is like they reach their darkest moment and all their hope is spent, and maybe someone comes along to help them back on their feet at 4:01. Then they slowly try again with their friend and struggle toward the goal, but more carefully this time, and at 5:30 they finally completed their goal, and then take a moment to reflect on everything and their friend. Finally at 6:16 their journey has ended and they are satisfied and possibly go on to a new goal. Well that’s just my interpretation of it, I’d love to hear anyone else’s.
Perfection lies in the natural imperfection that comes with human creation. Or at least that is how I like to look at it. It’s the tiny bit that’s always missing that makes us complete.
*"The loneliest people are the kindest.* *The saddest people smiles the brightest.* *The most damaged people are the wisest.* *All because they do not wish to see anyone else suffer the way they do."*
I disagree, I find many other pieces more amusing than this one, please listen to Sergei Prokofiev dance of the Knight or George Bizet habanera or mahlers 5 the 4th movement
My son did this piece as part of his assessments. Getting him to practice was a chore, none of his friends were quite as advanced and he just wanted to bum around and play video games like most 13 - 14 year old boys. Every now and then he would focus and when he did that I would find myself in awe of the beautiful pieces he was capable of playing - this was one of them which draws a lot of emotions. He is away from home this year on an exchange program and I miss him so much for many reasons, his music is one of them.
This is a reminder for me to when my mother passed away. I walked my dog in the pitch black nights listening to this, with tears running down my face but consoled by the music...I'll cherish this forever. I love you, mother
My mom still alive and was very abusive toward me as a child. Very manipulative, dishonest and jealous…toward a child. She always made sure I stayed less than her. She failed.
I played this for my graduation and the school was incredibly moved. By the end of it, I was smiling, and upon bowing my class gave me a standing ovation, which made me cry. But the most incredible experience I’ve had playing this song was when I played on a random street piano, where I poured my heart into an improvised performance. I had strangers stand listen for the whole thing, cheering and clapping when I finished. I even had this lady come up to me and kiss me on the cheek telling me it was the most beautiful thing she had heard in a long time. This is a song that is moving and playing it always feels like I’m lifting the spirits of everyone, including myself, around me. I love it.
Several years ago, for the first time in a very long time, I decided to go to church. When I parked my car in the parking lot and as I entered the church, I heard this music playing from outside the door. I walked in and saw people sitting and listening to this girl who was playing this music. At the time I didn't know why they were sitting around and what the occasion was, but I remember I took the furthest seat with the fewest people in that area and just listened. Her performance was captivating and outstanding. After she finished, I walked up to her and introduced myself. Later that girl became my wife, who died last April due to a drunk driver. We didn't have much time to spend together. We didn't grow together as we imagined. She was gone exactly as she appeared, quickly and in the blink of an eye. I hope one day I can play and master this music to perhaps play it for her. Although it was short-lived, but I will forever be grateful for that day I decided to go to that church. she’s the most beautiful thing that has ever happened in my life. RIP Honey💔
My 14 year old daughter selected this song for a recent recital performance and I don’t think I’ve ever been more moved to hear her play such a beautiful piece. This song is life and I never want to forget the feelings that came over me as I listened to her practice and eventually play for a church full of people. Many were brought to tears, including me. So grateful for the gift of music. ❤
I love how everyone interprets this piece in different ways. Everyone is sharing their stories with this piece, from heartbreak to losing loved ones to bringing home a baby for the first time. There is no single interpretation, everyone listens to this and finds their own meaning within the simple yet complex melody, and everyone shares and they emphasize. It’s a beautiful connection that only music brings out.❤
Yes that's music... I used to play this song as it makes me nostalgic of my childhood, but one day I listened to this song after a funeral and the music just struck differently then...
Taught me that classical music has much more profound beauty than the contemporary music- just a melody and creation- no need for lavish vocals or lyrics; just pressing down keys of frequencies in a way that'll make you feel how you must.
Wow! The pianist brought "Nuvole Bianche" to life with such grace and emotion. Each note felt like a gentle whisper, pulling everyone into a dreamlike state.
This song reminds me of my psyche growing up. I was a manic mess from a traumatic upbringing that basically broke my will and spirit. I just wanted to be left alone, and pretty much gave up on my dreams. Once I got away from home, I decided to take things one step at a time. I started reading, writing, exercising, and even socializing and saw immense progress. I'm now in a much better place with an engineering job and my own life, but the scars of my past will never cease to ache, never allow me to fully recover. However, I refuse to let the composition of my life be dictated by my beginning. Like the majesty of a jubilant crescendo, I too work to elevate the trajectory of my life, for I wish it to be beautiful.
Glad you were able to revive yourself. Dont let your past eat you. Accept yourself for who you were then, and accept yourself for who you are now. And KEEP ACCEPTING YOURSELF! Dont ever stop loving who you are and evolving as each moment goes by. One step at a time. I wish you peace throughout your journey. Love. :)
I played this song for my family before I left for college. I'm so glad I did. I have never seen my mother so proud. Thank you for sharing this beautiful music.
I will learn to play this. Whether it take a month a year or 10. I will come back to this comment when I am done. Edit: Thursday 18th June 2020 Wow. I am quite emotional right now as I have just for the first time finished playing the whole piece start to finish. The support from this comment has been so overwhelming and touching. I had just posted this comment as an individual reminder to make sure I follow through with my dream of being able to play this magnificent piece so you can imagine my shock when I saw the response. I never forgot about this comment as some may have thought and the combined support from everyone really helped me make that dream a reality. So to everyone that commented or liked - Thank You. I think you all deserve an explanation of how my journey went so here it goes right from the start: I am 19 and a complete novice pianist. I have had no experience with any musical instrument and have no knowledge of any music theory. Whilst studying for exams 2 years ago I stumbled upon classical music and gradually started to fall for the beauty found within a piano. By listening to Rousseau I would constantly listen to 3 of his covers. Für Elise, River Flows in You and Nuvuole Bianche. I wished I could play all of them but they all seemed so difficult. A few months later I, quite randomly, decided to play the piano in my house that I hadn't touched in years. After messing around for a while I remembered the dream I had to be able to play the Piano, even if it was just one piece. So I started to learn Für Elise. At the start it was difficult but gradually I learnt and got better. All the knowledge I gained was from UA-cam tutorials and it took me a few weeks before I could properly play Für Elise (without all the hard parts of course). Once I had learned to play Für Elise I had enough confidence to start leanring River Flows in You. I spent months learning and refining my skills till again I had managed it. Then there was Nuvuole Bianche. I still dreamt of being able to play it but watching Rousseau's hands fly over the notes just made it seem like this piece was out of my capability. Fast forward a few more months and I was heading off to university. I did not have access to a piano when I was at university however it was within those first few weeks there that I posted this comment. I still wanted to learn this piece but I set myself a reminder so that I wouldn't forget when I went back home. Over the 2019 Christmas break I learned the first 30 seconds of the piece then went back to University. Then, as we all know, the Coronavirus hit. In late March I was sent home for the rest of the semester. I truly do believe that every cloud has a silver lining and so the silver lining in my case was that although the world seemed to be falling apart I was able to complete my mission to learn Nuvuole Bianche. So little by little I learnt. I am a perfectionist at heart so I wouldn't move on till I had mastered the bit I was leaning. I won't lie and say I spent hours every day learning because I didn't. I could have learnt the piece faster and I could have put more time every day but it turns out that the journey to mastering it was just as satisfying as the end result. To anyone who is thinking of learning this piece - just do it. You will ready many comments saying how easy this piece is whereas if you are anything like me you may think the opposite. Believe that you can do it and go for it. I hope this story can inspire maybe just one person to learn this piece or maybe to pursue something you have been putting off but have dreamt of being able to do. Anyway I have written way to much so I will end by saying *THANK YOU*
@@ChantHareKrishnaAndBeHappy Sometimes, when we think our existence is meaningless, and we start to question our ideals, life starts to wear you down, instead of lifting you up. It's at times like this when people need to know what their existence means. That's why happiness is important to everyone. Just being happy, can make you forget about everything, and know that you're important to yourself, and to the people you love.
I was thinking that I could play this at a concert, but I also was thinking about how many times I would pause, and people would clap because they’re thinking it’s over.
I work long, late hours and have been dealing with other challenges. Thank you for helping me through some incredibly tough times with your music. You've made a difference in this listener for the better.
This piece is very beautiful, the way that it inclines from slow ( hopelessness) to fast( hopefulness), sounds like someone is having a fight within themselves trying to figure out how to live by, hoping for something more, losing all the hope but gaining it steadily, telling oneself “it’s ok “
Bro i too wanna learn piano but i am confused which piano should i get. I fear if i buy wrong one i might make learning process difficult as i heard acoustic pianos are not beginner friendly
When my mom listens to this song all she says is “nice” but when I hear this song I start crying because it’s so beautiful. Some people just don’t get it.
Cole Wow. I read that and felt so sad for your Mom. Then I thought maybe she sees art in a way that I don’t. For me, piano, and music in general, is so soothing.
I sent a recording of myself playing this to my piano teacher in high school. He watched me go from a stupid kid who knew nothing about the piano, to being able to play this song with little to no errors. He sent back “good work. I’m proud of you” and asked how long it took. The answer? 2 years. Him and I started this song as a little side project the end of my sophomore year. By my senior year (which was cut short bc of Covid) I had put it completely on the back burner. I was so focused on getting together another piece for my final recital (which I never got to play) and I decided that when I got my own piano I’d start to play and finally finish this song. It’s difficult, but possible. You can do it. It took me 2 years so don’t be discouraged if you can’t get it in 2 months 💞
anyone can play this song. I only knew where abcdefg was. didnt know what the other notes were. didn't know how to sustain a pedal. then got bored cus covid and learnt this entire song in around 2 months with almost zero piano knowledge. Now i can fully play this song and self taught how to use pedal. anyone can play the piano, just gotta practice
i used to listen to this song when i broke up with my ex. he plays piano so i looked for piano pieces to listen to but this one song caught my attention. 2 days after the breakup, i met a girl who became my best friend for a while and took a trip with my family to somehow cope with the pain. i couldn't stop listening to this song for about 2 months i lost my best friend in january and coming back to this song is freaking painful; it brings back long-lost memories about my breakup, the friendship with that girl and about the trip miss 'em both so bad nostalgic
So, am I the only one here that don't understand nothing about music and classics? I just love this one and can't stop hearing over and over again while write. Is so beautiful, so emotional, make me cry every time. Is full of a calm passion, a deep and peaceful devotion. Awesome. Magnificent.
Music on a whole is an art of expression, more than adhering to professional standards or bowing to elitism, a great musician makes you feel. From giving rise to a tsunami of emotions, or emotions as tranquil as a morning drizzle. It's great pride to a musician knowing that it involves emotions in you, it's amazing and valid. Also I'm really glad you can feel a lot from music
Adam Clark that has nothing to do with it, he isn't saying oh im so good at the piano and it will sound so good because im amazing at the piano. Imagining that you are playing this and how cool it would be if or when you can play this is amazing, i think about that too, what if i could play this for like a talent show or something etc. nothing to really do with ego. Really is just admiration for the song haha.
It's really quite easy. If you don't want to really get into piano, try synthesia or onlinepianist or something like that and practice. In a couple of weeks you'll have it just from muscle memory :) It will be frustrating at first if you've never played before though, be warned
I am currently on my 5th month of self-study. I started from not being able to understand the notes. Then I watched this video and slowly learned. Now I can finally play with both hands. The first 1 minute and the last 1 minute can be played at 1x speed, while the middle can currently only be played at 0.6x speed.
After about 2-3 weeks (ca. 4-8 hours practice each day) I can finally play it fluently, including my own emotions. This piece is so heartwarming and touching, I really love to play it! Can’t believe I finally did it, it feels so rewarding
@@mikemacgrasa5810 thanks! I started playing about 2 to 3 years ago, but I’m completely self taught. Which means I only learn the pieces via videos like this, works for me though :)
This is the only piece I can play on the piano. I practiced hard and I can play the whole thing. It's so beautiful that I just needed to play it. You kept to the original which I like and didn't implement unnecessary fluff. Like you said, the beauty of this piece is in the simplicity and it needs nothing more to it. Thanks.
A couple of weeks but maybe a few months to master. @3:00 is pretty tough at first but what I did is to cheat with the left hand and just play the whole piece like the left hand is moving @0:58 This at least makes you able to play the piece and learn the right hand correctly. Then after that the left hand will come.
Not really. I only own a basic synth that I practice on and my parents have a real piano that I play on sometimes. I don't know my level since i barely play but I got good muscle memory.
@@SmeekPeek i m learning this right now and trust me, this is the worst suggestion you can give. I let my left hand move free but it was way more faster than the right hand and to correct this i used literally 1 day. Don do that
I've been practicing and playing this song for 2 years, never managed to finish this. 2 days ago my dad passed away. Heavy alcoholic. I always knew he loved hearing me play this, and I'll play the entire thing for him one day.
The first time I heard it was just now. Just wow! I've never heard a melody that interprets human emotions like this, the war between good and demons, light and darkness. It's a work of art!
Respect to your brother I used to know how to play a piano until we had to move countries cause of my parents job difficulty’s I tried to go to piano lessons here but the teachers are so bad I used to live in China and I’m Russian I had a Ukrainian teacher there and she taught me a lot but I forgot how to play I used to play a lot of my favourite classic songs like Turkish March and moonlight sonata
@@utu_be Man I'm sorry try looking up youtube tutorials that how my brother learned and he's pretty good also I love Moonlight sonota! I haven't heard the other one though
Three years ago, I learned piano for a girl. I spent 6 months learning this song, and at the end I found out that my true love was the piano. Ludovico's music has had such an impact on my life because of the way he expresses emotion in his music. I'm not very good at expressing how I feel verbally, but now I can describe exactly how I feel with the songs I compose and play. I'm leaving this comment to express gratitude. Thank you for creating this tutorial and launching me into a life of music. Edit: some of y'all really be making me question my faith in humanity with how dense you are. I mean I fell in love with playing piano, not a literal piano. FFS
I appreciate this so much. Whenever I hear this I just get emotional. In my first grade, my teacher would put this piece whenever we are colouring. And that continued until our primary school graduation. It's surprising that this video was kept for 5 years, and now am 12. I could manage myself learning to play this.❤
How a song with no words takes that deep in your soul, making you unbelievably happy that your tears fill your eyes and make you feel alive. Wow I didn't know that I could have such a beautiful feelings.
My dad passed away on December 21st 2019. Since then, my life has been really hard thinking about the night before he left me. I just missed his voice, his scent, his smile, his warm hands. I missed everything about him. If only I could turn back time to the day I can feel his warm hands
Ahmad dude damn that sucks unfortunately, but i saw a video of a kid who's father passed on he mad a mold of his hand in oobleck and it reminded him of his father so maybe you can try this and it might make you feel better
I actually played this at my grandfathers funeral. This song reminds me of him, he always wanted to listen when I was playing. May you rest in peace. Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece.
Lost my brother due to epilepsy issues four years ago. I'm just 19... and I can't believe I'll spend the next years of my life without him. Whenever I travel, sunset stare, drive all night, board a plane... I'll listen to this song and remember my baby Arthur. Nothing compares to you. These years have been tough... How I long to see him. At least in my dreams tonight!! ❤️
I have had insomnia since I was 14, I'm now 22. I have been using this song to put me to sleep for the last 2.5. It never fails. I don't care if it's simple. It's perfect.
After 2 years of casually learning to play the piano and a year of practicing this piece, I can finally, play this comfortable enough that I can close my eyes and feel the song..This video was and still is a great inspiration for me..Thank you very much
@@ghislainehakem984 yes, there were some difference between the sheets found in the net and the vid..however, unless you are gonna play it in a recital or something like that i think there is no need to be strict about it..I copied some of what I saw in the vid..especially in the left hand chorus..I just used whatever sounds good in the piece
this song. it is enough to make a grown man cry. this is a song ive been looking for. Edit: I wasn't expecting to have so many likes on this thx so much
ahh, lemme make you cry more with liebestraum no. 3, chopin ballade no 1 and 4, and rachmaninoff piano concerto no.2. some of the best pieces ever composed
I am writing this here because, I have no one else to tell. I have a been battling clinical depression since I was 15. It has hung over me everydayand to this day, I feel so low. It is vicious never-ending cycle. I moved away to another country at 15, to get a better education. I was always a excellent student. I got into medical school at 17. I was supposed to have graduated at 22 and been the youngest doctor in my country. This sadness and emptiness took hold of me, I was so low. I never failed any exams but I was so sad that I didn't turn up to class. Nobody check up on me because, they thought he is smart, he will pass regardless. I am now in my 30s and it took me over 10 years to finish med school. The sadness is still here. I cannot have any meaningful or long-lasting relationship or friendship. I just want to be happy, because I know I have so much joy to give. I am scared because I hate feeling this way.
Always keep moving forward, doesnt matter how slow or what obstacles are in your way just keep going. We make it thru to the next morning. The night is darkest before the dawn. Everything happens for a reason, and something good will eventually come your way
Depression should be taken seriously, I'm sorry you feel this way. I suggest you go to a shrink as soon as possible. Because I see that you want to be better and that's the first thing needed for being happy, a professional would help you get there
@@Speedmcpolat went to a psychologist for Months and was put on prescription pills. All that did was make me feel absolutely nothing the whole time I was on them. The most awesome thing is to read the comments section while listening to the music. You will read Inspirational and original quotes which are not only impressive but let you think about for a minute You will read funny comments to have small relief Then you will read comments from people who are just fascinated by the music alone. You see that music is such a beautiful feeling which doesn't match the logical thinking of a human And you will read inspirational stories and condolences to people who lost people and are reminded of this by the music. We all are impressed of the person who lost his parents and has the maturity to deal with it. And we all salute to all this people. Sometimes you don't realise that UA-cam comments are from all over the world but if you read them all they have so much in common you realise that we are still all human and we can be reminded of this by music... Sometimes life actually needs background music
Something i really like about this song is that the right hand pauses throughout the song to showcase what the left hand is doing. I feel like sometimes the right hand is changing a lot, and you don’t realize how pretty the left hand stuff is.
This is to Gavin Schmidt who commented 7 months ago. (It wouldn't let me reply in the comment section, so I'm just gonna post it here in case he sees) I'm sitting here, in tears reading your story. My mother battled cancer for two exhausting years before she finally passed in February 2017, just shortly after her 44th birthday. I was fortunate enough to have been able to say goodbye to her, during her last few moments before she passed. I can't imagine how strange you must have felt losing your parents just like that, at just twelve years old... I admire you for forgiving the man who hit your parents. My sincere condolences, respect, admiration and love goes your way Gavin. -Kjartan from Iceland.
I wanted to comment too but couldn't. Guess here is fine. Nearly made me tear up when u mentioned u forgave the drunk driver. I would be far too mad at him initially if I was you. Your parents taught you well and I'm touched by your story. I'm actually going to cry after this hahah. Thank you for sharing this. Forgiveness goes a long way and it's something I'm still learning to do
This piece is special to me and the classical community. It doesn't desaturate emotion with complexity. It just lets the emotion of the piece ring through.
My father used to take me to piano lessons when i was a kid i was so happy that I'm making my dream come true, becoming a pianist! But after a year he stopped taking me he said he couldn't afford it anymore.. things got bad that year and he left us.. but the thing that literally broke my heart is that later he found a new woman and started taking HER daughter to MY piano lessons! I hated everything that had to deal with pianos.. and every time i heard the sound of it I'd have bad memories instead of that magic i used to feel. But now, after years, I've decided to go after my dream no matter how hurt i get.. I'll keep going and the music will heal me it will make me stronger, it's time to enjoy listening to piano instead of crying when hearing it, and this song is the one I'm gonna be working on
Noa Davi Your father has done wrong to you. My father was a violent bully. It’s difficult sometimes but perhaps you should let go? Anyway, for what it’s worth, you’re beautiful.
I am very sorry to hear that but at the end you were an inspiration to keep moving forward you are an amazing person. Don’t let those people hurt no matter what.
Been kinda depressed lately and these beautiful songs youve been playing have helped relieve me quite a bit. When i listen to this one in particular, i simply close my eyes and drift into the music. I forget about whats around me and focus on each note as they lift me higher and higher to a state of mind that is subliminal. I dont care about anything at the time, i honestly just escape life altogether. Thank you so much
As someone who survived a severe, crippling, three-year depression that nearly killed me on several occasions, I can promise you it will get better. This is merely a small chapter in the massive story of your life. Find yourself. Nothing is more terrifying than being trapped in your own mind, but when you come out on the other side (and you will because you are amazing), you'll be the strongest, bravest person you'll ever know. You can do this, and people do appreciate you. ❤
Can relate dude. Well I mean the world sucks and everything to a depressed teenager like me and like music is the only getaway to escape everything, but like just listen to music everyday everytime u get down in the dumps. It is proven that music helps to elevate the mood u feel so u won’t be that pissed off or depressed. So keep listening to music bro. Wish u Gus luck with life and live through it. One advice btw: don’t be depressed like me and when u are depressed don’t pity urself. Never do that. Cuz if u do, “pity urself and life becomes a endless nightmare”-Osamu Dazai from Bungou Stray Dogs(don’t judge me I love that anime)
This is England had had me hunting this song for years, so glad I found the original name..such a beautiful piece of music, the world needs more of this kind of stuff..
I see why it’s called white clouds. It has the simplicity and elegance of a song that would dance through your ears to relax and calm the weary. The tone is soft like a floating cloud in the sky and the song is just very relaxing and enjoyable 😌
I feel like this piece absolutely formed the foundation for modern music. You can almost predict the notes that are about the play even if listening for the first time
You can predict the notes because you’ve heard them thousands of times before, the same chords/tunes in exactly the same order. It’s actually an overused formula that works for massive audiences, becouse it sounds really nice, and with some little variation in the melody, instruments, rhythm, etc, it sounds “different” for all those not too acknowledged at music.
yeah its a very simple chord progression, with melodies resolving at the right time, in the right place. Which in and of itself is a fantastic show of restraint. Man can serve the song
We watch the sunset with tears in our eyes, remembering everything, we close our eyes and think about our life and what's happening in this terrifying world... But this music is what keeps us sane. We were okay for six minutes. I recently lost my dad due to a heart attack. He was my partner in crime He was so involved in my life. He saved my school projects. He did everything for me. As I am writing this I am crying. He was a good man. He would do anything for me. I miss him so much. I just want him back. I know it's not possible I cant process that he's gone. The last thing we did was share a kit-kat together. I miss him so much.
I am sorry. it will get better. I don't wanna have the same situation as you in future I just don't want to fell that insane pain that's there forever. I'm hoping you are okay
Rousseau Ludovico is a wonderful composer, I really enjoy "le onde"
If you're taking request might I recommend something by Jóhann Jóhannson, I'd love to see what you could do with his work, keep up the great work!
Rousseau Ludovico Einaudi is my favorite piano artist, their song are so beautiful and soothing, like a break for our soul
this piece perfectly embodies the vibe for you to get lost in your own thoughts. I was having trouble placing the words to describe the feeling I was getting but that is it.
To be honest i felt exactly like the classical world...
Maybe its me, but i think the song is quite boring - modern even (which is almost everytime a bad thing)
Rousseau he’s one of my favourite artists
I didn’t really expect to write all this in a youtube comment, but I guess there’s my story.
oh my god that got dark quick
Thats truly inspirational, thank you for sharing your story and I am very sure everyone will be so proud of you 😊

while i was reading this i started crying :C
Ohhhhh its ok it will get better soon i hope and i know that your parents are very proud of you!!!
I learned to play this by breaking it down into sections and drilling one section a day for several hours, or until I was confident.
*** Here's my method: ***
Section 1 = 0:03 - 0:32
Section 2 = 0:33 - 0:56
Section 3 = 0:57 - 1:21
Section 4 = 1:22 - 1:47
Section 5 = 1:48 - 2:14
Section 6 = 2:15 - 2:59
Section 7 = 3:00 - 3:28
*Repeat sections 1 - 7*
(Finale) Section 8 = 5:42 - 6:17
I really hope this helps someone! Good luck!

Agreed!
And then, it ends.

" It reminds us how to feel " , wow ❤️

10/3: Since I found God, I’ve gotten happier. Something amazing that happened at church yesterday was how I asked God to use me in some way, as a sign he was here with me. He asked me to console two of my friends (I’m not revealing names) and he gave me a sign. Once the song came on, I fell to my chair, and cried. I immediately thanked God for giving me the sign that he was protecting me. I still thank God for that moment.

To make someone cry without visuals or lyrics, its something special.
For those hesistating to try, i strongly suggest y'all to just do it. It took me only 3 hrs to learn it and a week to master it.
Some tips:
(This helps in muscle memory)
4. Lastly NEVER NEVER give up. It may be hard or boring but trust me, satisfaction is what u will get after learning this piece. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
Edit: Thanks guys! Always happy to help :D
Thank you! Scrolling in the comment section and finding this is really helpful to me😊
I learned the right hand first, moved to the left, mixed, fixed timings, then added my own stuff lol. Guess we have different strategys
please tell me how many keys does it require to be played on a keyboard?
@@aviral.rabbit As you can see, you don't need all the 88 keys on a piano so you can play in on a keyboard. Just use the middle C as a reference and you'll be fine (I guess?). I learned to play this song and in my opinion, it's easier than you think (especially because you only have to learn the first half and the end, since almost everything from the second part is from the first!).
I played this song when I played in front of an audience for the first time; I wasn't sure if this was the right choice because I couldn't play it well when I had to choose a song for that performance, but I thought this song was so beautiful that I had to learn this before I had to perform :D
Good luck learning this song you all!
@@aviral.rabbit explain what you mean and maybe I can. I don't quite understand what you're asking.

My son did this piece as part of his assessments. Getting him to practice was a chore, none of his friends were quite as advanced and he just wanted to bum around and play video games like most 13 - 14 year old boys.

RIP Honey💔

@@lilswain7756 that reminds me of the old Keanu Reeves meme. But a beautiful comment, nonethless
Begginings are hard. Most especially the older we get.
I’m very proud of you, you are very determined. Thank you for teaching me a valuable lesson, I hope you thrive.
Love.

Edit: Thursday 18th June 2020
Wow.
I think you all deserve an explanation of how my journey went so here it goes right from the start:
I am 19 and a complete novice pianist.
Anyway I have written way to much so I will end by saying
*THANK YOU*

I sent a recording of myself playing this to my piano teacher in high school. He watched me go from a stupid kid who knew nothing about the piano, to being able to play this song with little to no errors. He sent back “good work. I’m proud of you” and asked how long it took. The answer? 2 years. Him and I started this song as a little side project the end of my sophomore year. By my senior year (which was cut short bc of Covid) I had put it completely on the back burner. I was so focused on getting together another piece for my final recital (which I never got to play) and I decided that when I got my own piano I’d start to play and finally finish this song. The most awesome thing is to read the comments section while listening to the music. You will read
Inspirational and original quotes which are not only impressive but let you think about for a minute
You will read funny comments to have small relief
Then you will read comments from people who are just fascinated by the music alone. You see that music is such a beautiful feeling which doesn't match the logical thinking of a human
And you will read inspirational stories and condolences to people who lost people and are reminded of this by the music.
This is so true. That's why I love reading the comments while listening to the music.
Something i really like about this song is that the right hand pauses throughout the song to showcase what the left hand is doing. I feel like sometimes the right hand is changing a lot, and you don’t realize how pretty the left hand stuff is.

@@deltanovember1672 yeah it was a while ago that I've decided to let go..
And thank u :)
@@NoaDavi its a good thing your dad took you to piano lession, i wish i could play piano.
I am very sorry to hear that but at the end you were an inspiration to keep moving forward you are an amazing person. Don’t let those people hurt no matter what.
Hmm
Been kinda depressed lately and these beautiful songs youve been playing have helped relieve me quite a bit. When i listen to this one in particular, i simply close my eyes and drift into the music. I forget about whats around me and focus on each note as they lift me higher and higher to a state of mind that is subliminal. I dont care about anything at the time, i honestly just escape life altogether. Thank you so much
I can relate buddy. Everything will get better, don't worry too much 💖 i wish you all the best :)
Good job Rousseau is here to help! Hope it gets better bud👍
Keep pushing
This is England had had me hunting this song for years, so glad I found the original name..such a beautiful piece of music, the world needs more of this kind of stuff..
Its beautiful. Like a breeze slowly picking up energy in a meadow to lift petals into the air and let them float down around you.

I see why it’s called white clouds. It has the simplicity and elegance of a song that would dance through your ears to relax and calm the weary. The tone is soft like a floating cloud in the sky and the song is just very relaxing and enjoyable 😌
Questioning my existence on this planet. Crazy how were all living through the same moment through different eyes . Love everyone who reads this ❤️
That's true. I send you love back!
You are unique. You are one in a million. Be kind, be positive and spread your wings to achieve you dreams 😊
You too man
I guess there'll never be an answer no matter how much we question our purpose here but the thing is..... it's very tiring already
@@hakunamatataya What purpose are you looking for buddy? God has created you! Jesus Christ died for you because he loves you!❤
Played this as the opening song for my beautiful winter wedding in February! 🥰
I feel like this piece absolutely formed the foundation for modern music. You can almost predict the notes that are about the play even if listening for the first time
I think that’s called a “Leading tone.”
Search for it and learn about it if you wish, it’s very interesting stuff.
Ohhhhhhhh, thank you both for answering
yeah its a very simple chord progression, with melodies resolving at the right time, in the right place. Which in and of itself is a fantastic show of restraint.
Man can serve the song
I feel like I do this when I'm just pecking around the keyboard. Guess I should've hit record...Oh well. BORING
What kind of person do you have to be to dislike this masterpiece?
A person
A deaf person
me
don't worry I'm joking
Mc Fgt demented people like thugs would.

We watch the sunset with tears in our eyes, remembering everything, we close our eyes and think about our life and what's happening in this terrifying world... But this music is what keeps us sane. We were okay for six minutes. I recently lost my dad due to a heart attack. He was my partner in crime
He was so involved in my life. He saved my school projects. He did everything for me. As I am writing this I am crying. He was a good man.
He would do anything for me.
I miss him so much. I just want him back. I know it's not possible I cant process that he's gone. The last thing we did was share a kit-kat together. I miss him so much.
Heaven Hughes im so sorry. I pray that you both find happiness.
@@poqp5283 Thank you so much.
I am so sorry. Your dad will always be in your heart. And remember you can do this. I believe in you😔🤍
I am sorry. it will get better. I don't wanna have the same situation as you in future I just don't want to fell that insane pain that's there forever. I'm hoping you are okay
@@mr.devdev3685 please remember to eat a kitkat once in a while. trust me it helps ^^
