For those that like Killing Floor 2 (either the look of it or played it and enjoyed it), I recommend GTFO. It is a 4 player horror FPS with stealth elements, it's a really fun game with a really nice community and the game developers made a discord server to help people team up. The game is quite difficult and with the limited resources you have to work together with your teammates and play it smartly to complete the expeditions. But probably my favourite thing about the game is it's insanely good atmosphere, you can feel the tension at all times as you and your team cautiously make your way through the labyrinth like underground facilities whilst trying to avoid waking up or alerting the monsters so that you don't end up being swarmed by monsters. Just because it is a game with stealth elements doesn't mean that you won't have a chance to use your guns as you will be forced to open doors that will set off alarms forcing you and your teammates to defend yourself and survive through the attack.
Same....had EA Access or EA Play(Current) and told them to download the demo and we could play through. Was fairly good but wish it was longer. Would recommend to anyone who have access to it though

Nice that you're shining some light on these gems! Personally I would replace Sniper Elite with one or both of the Zombie Army games. Killing Floor 2 is the best game that hardly anyone knows about and few play. It's one of my all time favorites and I own it on all platforms. Vermintide 1 and 2 are also awesome and I'm looking forward to the new Darktide game from Fatshark.

My favourite coop game that seems to be somewhat forgotten after it had an initial short hype when it released 10 years ago is Magicka, where crossing the wrong beams will make you blow up and in general your team members turn out to be the most fun element and also biggest danger to you in the game by design. I mean you are 4 mages in a fantasy setting and suddenly you are awarded 1 Kalaschnikow for the 4 of you and suddenly who ever wields the almighty ak starts succumbing to a series of unfortunate events, be it a sudden rainfall while they are casting lightning magic, a wall that just happens to lock them in with the boss suddenly appearing or a simple good old honest bolder flying against the back of their head
I am always commenting on your videos with Deep Rock Galactic! There's no better place to put this than a video about games that aren't talked about haha
"Full Metal Furies" - suprised me. Was quite fun "Spelunky 2" - it's just around the corner "Terraria" - last time we played in a team of 4 as: damage dealer, tank, minion summoner and magician Wildcards: "Factorio", "Satisfactory", "Astroneer", "Stardew Valley" and (ofcourse) "Minecraft" - just relax, build and explore together
The best under-rated multi-player game is Helldivers! I've played that game for its initial launch. Whenever there is a slow down in good new games I can always play Helldivers and have a great time.
Vermintide II is boring. I didn't even want to play the DLC's, didn't even finish the main quest. Literally just the same repetitive clickclickclick combat on an extremely linear map again and again and again.
May be an older game and doesn't have the support as current games do, but Splinter Cell: Double Agent was so fun to mess around in with friends and do missions together back in the day. I actively play the games mentioned in the video but as the years go by, it seems most gaming companies are heavily focused on big game lobbies for competitive multiplayer sessions... Not that it's a bad thing but man I really do just miss sitting down with buddy and playin' couch co-op games until the break of dawn.
Smash and Mario Kart are the highlight of our adult years when we all get together for a Christmas party. It’s rough since we’re spread out across Canada now, but it’s always worth it.
A Way Out is honestly one of my fav games. Me and a friend bought it while it was on sale, binged it all night and in the morning, and then did it all again as the other character the next weekend. If you haven't played it and are looking for an awesome couch co-op game (or just co-op) do yourself a favor and buy it.

Broforce is one of the best games I've ever played. It's nearly everything I could possibly want in a game. You get to be Neo from The Matrix and Indiana Jones and tons of other characters that I won't spoil. Neo is by far the most OP character in my opinion. I always get excited when I become "The One." He's gotten me out of some pretty impossible situations.
I feel Dying Light should also be on this list, it's a lot of fun especially since it's kinda open world & during the night going after air-drops. Btw you featured Sniper Elite 4 but didn't show or talk about any co-op??
Great selection of coop games. Another game worth mentioning in my opinion is Lara Croft and The Guardian of the Light, great 2 player game with out the split screen, which i hate.

Hellyeah!!!
Thank you. Thank you. We are warriors.
Not gonna lie, my girlfriend and I have played all of these. We've played pretty much the entire co-op genre at this point and are desperately waiting for new releases lol
check out star wars squadrons this friday it has online multiplayer with bots that i guess you can call coop , me and my girlfriend are getting it just for that , you still earn progression too
@@tk-0994 My girlfriend and I are also waiting impatiently for it to drop. Same reasoning. Plus I can play in vr which sounds like a blast.
my girlfriend and I are playing this one stealth game where we hide from my wife
I wish my girlfriend liked to play videogames as much as I do haha
@@MisterNoodle68 me too buddy , VR will be wicked
100% agree
Magicka is the best 4 player coop game I have ever played, and now I'm struggling to find an other one as good !
@@antazur3983 Magicka 2 ^^
I am always commenting on your videos with Deep Rock Galactic! There's no better place to put this than a video about games that aren't talked about haha
"Full Metal Furies" - suprised me. Was quite fun
"Spelunky 2" - it's just around the corner
"Terraria" - last time we played in a team of 4 as: damage dealer, tank, minion summoner and magician
Wildcards:
"Factorio", "Satisfactory", "Astroneer", "Stardew Valley" and (ofcourse) "Minecraft" - just relax, build and explore together
Full Metal Furies is amazing!
The quotation marks are really unnecessary
@@prxy5925 i know.
I replied to about 20 political comments before.
Nothing is holy anymore.
What about splinter cell : conviction? I loved so much the co-op side missions.
U got it?? i been looking to co_op
Too bad the PC version has been broken for years and they never fixed it.
Shit yes. The co-op on the original Double Agent was also dope af.
Joel Taveras you should care because if it sells more copies it gives ubisoft more reasons to consider making another splinter cell
@@raresmacovei8382 It's a shame that the PC version is broken. I was lucky enough to play it on an XBOX 360.
What about deep rock galactic and zombie army?
That is cool when you have friends
'Forever lonely on the backround'
Darksiders Genesis has one of the best Video Game Themesongs of all time. That game definitely needs more attention!
Me: that looks fun I should try it
Also me: have no friends
Wow, never been this early 😂
Same
Same here lol

Cool
The best under-rated multi-player game is Helldivers! I've played that game for its initial launch. Whenever there is a slow down in good new games I can always play Helldivers and have a great time.
Vermintide is an absolute blast! Highly recommend playing it. I've added Alien Swarm and Darksiders Genesis to my list to check out.
Vermintide II is boring. I didn't even want to play the DLC's, didn't even finish the main quest. Literally just the same repetitive clickclickclick combat on an extremely linear map again and again and again.
@@charlespancamo9771 lol try mindlessly clicking on cata and see what happens
My favourite coop games are Deep Rock Galactic, Remnant and Killing Floor 2. Sadly, they all have a very low amount of active players.
DRG is da best
KF2! LEEETTSS GO!!!
DRG is a great game just got it on ps4
A Way Out was so beautiful!!
The best splitscreen game of the centuries
Ending was so saaad tho :(
You gotta check out Deep Rock Galactic. It's truly amazing.
Thanks for bringing attention to KF2! There isn't enough players!
i almost got it but i just feel like it’s there isn’t enough content
I must have put nearly 500 hours on both the KF games - I had no idea they were underrated!
There's still a lot of players on ps4. I play it at least twice a week
I just miss local co-op. Remember when games actually brought people and friends together?
Smash and Mario Kart are the highlight of our adult years when we all get together for a Christmas party. It’s rough since we’re spread out across Canada now, but it’s always worth it.
@@KC-bg1th
While you're definitely right, though there should be more options than just those two game series from a single platform.
I'm going to say Generation Zero is an ignored coop title, I recently picked it up and am loving it so much
Is it Couch Co Op?
@@y3l10wflash6 Sorry, online co-op only
Vermintide 1 and 2 are awesome! Grinded tons of hours in to them, and still not bored!
I really want a new "Army of two"
A Way Out is honestly one of my fav games. Me and a friend bought it while it was on sale, binged it all night and in the morning, and then did it all again as the other character the next weekend. If you haven't played it and are looking for an awesome couch co-op game (or just co-op) do yourself a favor and buy it.
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons...I know it's a bit old (2013) but this was one of my favorite coop experiences.
? That game is meant to be played alone says the director
@@chowmediavaca Maybe, but I only played it coop and it was amazing. Playing it alone would require coordination and stuff and it could be interesting but not sure why it would not be promoted as a coop game, it's really amazing.
I barely seen any of these games getting “ignored”. Earth Defense Force? The Blackout Club? Helldivers?
To save our mother earth from any alien attack
I agree. Low effort video, just shouted out some random big coop titles.
I bought blackout club, waste of money the game is garbage
I haven’t heard anyone mention vermintide 2 how is it not ignored? Same with risk of rain 2 and majority of these, except for killing floor 2 quite a few ppl know that one
Broforce is trash dude
@@thelastofitskind3034 you are
Timesplitters 2 has a place in my heart since childhood
I feel Dying Light should also be on this list, it's a lot of fun especially since it's kinda open world & during the night going after air-drops.
Btw you featured Sniper Elite 4 but didn't show or talk about any co-op??
Yea dying light is a must have. Back during PS2 days Kane&Lynch was fun too.
I feel like remnant from the ashes should be in this list
Great selection of coop games. Another game worth mentioning in my opinion is Lara Croft and The Guardian of the Light, great 2 player game with out the split screen, which i hate.
Didn't play it co-op but journey to the savage planet is, what I think an amazing but underrated game. I played it off gamepass, not sure if it's still on that.
It looks cool but I didn't get into it because the controls felt weird
@@SUP-BITCHES the controls are a bit odd but you get used to them pretty quickly and the mechanics (like the grappling hook) are fairly common but judt look a bit different
Ya that game is fun
I definitely recommend vermintide 2. The most fun I’ve had in a video game in a LONG time.
Alien Swarm was originally a mod for Unreal Tournament 2004 and a spiritual successor to Alien Breed. It won Mod of the Year for Gamespy.
The team behind it began remaking it for the Source engine, that's when Valve hired them and released the game for free while they were simultaneously working on L4D and Portal 2.
I thought that game looked like the mod! thanks for the background info.
btw. your team’s power generator has been captured:)
I've played the hell out of killing floor 2. I'm glad to see it mentioned in all its glory.
I still play all the time, they just keep adding more stuff to gore your way through!
I still play from time to time and they do add new content, new levels, new weapons etc
"A Way Out" is great, but only for one playthrough. It isn't very long and other than a few key decisions, there's really no replay value
It's so strange to me why people don't fancy the brigade. One of my favorite multiplayer games of all time!
Co-op games people ignored - *lists literally the number one game on every single co-op list ever created* A Way Out! :p
Never heard of it till now. And I dig for coop games often
I love all of these, only one I haven't tried is Alien Swarm. Vermintide 2 though, probably my favorite on the list
a way out was so fun. we need more games like this
Everyone saying Deep Rock, I agree but that is literally one of the best reviewed and always mentioned co op games....so it wouldn't be on the list
Yeah, but it isn’t talked about TOO much. Look it up and the latest videos with decent views are like a month old. I was kinda hoping to see it.
I haven't heard of it. Thus not popular if people don't hear of it.
Helldivers, really good coop game.
as far as i’m concerned...
this is a good list
I remember downloading Broforce years ago and never playing it lol. Now I'm going to give it a try! I also have Darksiders Genesis and A Way Out, but haven't been able to play them yet.
Remanat: From the Ashes is so underrated! It is just amazing. Sadly, most people overlooked this game.
amazing game, most fun ive had playing games in years even after i burned out
I recommend: children of morta. Really great coop experience.
I just saw it on Steam, thanks! Hey do u play with friends or is it in development?
Sucks that on xbox its couch coop
I play it with the young one. We were looking for something similar to Wizard of Legends, and this is it.
Indeed, for now it is just couch coop.
But the devs announced on the steam page that online coop is in development.
I hear this game is amazing! Never knew it was also co op
Was searching for tips like this, thank you. Naming A Way Out is ridicilous, everyone who wants to play co op knows it.
Vermintide 2 is amazing. I ve sunk over 400h into it
I watched this with intent to comment if Risk of Rain 2 wasn't on the list and am very excited that it was included. Such an great hidden gem that more people need to experience. The visuals are beautiful the fighting is very on point and the ever increasing difficulty of the runs make it so satisfying when you do well.
0:15 "A third person adventure GAM" is definitely all i could hear and i cant stop repeating it.
I might give Vermintide 2 a try with a buddy who plays Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator for hours on end just like that. Thanks for sharing!
A way out was amazing. It’s only shortcoming was it was only about 5 hours from start to finish. Really wish they’d add new storylines to it as DLC
So glad sniper elite is on here even solo one of the most enjoyable games I’ve played
A way out should have been way higher. That game had one of the most emotional endings i've seen in a game ever
Some people called it but I was so surprised at The end
Two*
There are two endings, and both hit hard.
Daniel p I don’t personally know a single person who called the ending. It’s not like they gave hints.
@@49Jacksonlrd yeah same but my brother said he knew he was probably just lying tho
okay gameranx, i NEED to know if you guys have heard of this game Children of Morta. it is by far one of the best 2p coop games i’ve ever played, and it’s included in Xbox Game Pass rn. i definitely think if you guys make an updated Top 10 Game Pass Games video, Children of Morta deserves to be included. it is an absolute gem and i really want it to garner more attention. thank you
I have a PC and a PS4 pro. I’ve been playing world war Z with my girl I’ll play on pc and she’ll play on the tv. Been fun but looking for more games to co op with her thanks for the video
What about army of two that was my all time favorite. Grinding that with my childhood best friend lol
It's well known so doesn't fit the list
did that have online matchmaking?
A Way Out is a AAA coop experience with a Z list marketing strategy. So glad that I bought it on release and encouraged friends to try it.
"deep rock galactic" should be on this list, its a great co-op game, nice controls, mission variations and great community.
That game is underrated as hell.
...don't take that literally. ....or maybe do. XD
I played that with my older brother who turned me on to it, and we had a blast.
I tried to show it to friends, and they had no interest.
How can playing as a dwarf in space, mining into the earth, fighting off swarms of aliens with cool classes, for loot and plunder, not at least make you wanna try it?
[I'm not a Dwarf fanboy, I don't get why people like playing them in D&D so much, besides the stats]
I was actually expecting it to be on this list. Risk of Rain 2, Deep Rock Galactic and Vermintide 2 are underappreciated top tier games.
what’s the learning curve on it? ie is it beginner-friendly?
@@majorgear1021 yes the learning curve is perfect as you start on very easy missions and it gets harder as you go deeper, risk reward kind of gameplay, upgrades as you get better
I am so glad you threw Battleblock Theater on this list. The announcer is hilarious, the little bits of story are hilarious. "Even hopeless has the word hope in it and if you rearrange the letters you spell Peeslosh."
Instant like for mentioning broforce. One of my favs for couch co-op
Deep Rock Galactic deserves more attention !
