Someone should design a more user-friendly computer and more self-explanatory for regular people and especially senior citizens. You HAVE to use computers now, like-it-or-not. You cannot escape the computer demon.

Your keyboard is different from mine. My keyboard has a calculator- style numbers pad on the right side (that are dead don't do anything} But it still has numbers on the 2nd row. That's the main difference. All my previous computers are the same as this one. This one is a Lenovo, and the previous ones were hp. I don't know why I have the dead calculator keys.

You must press the "num" button (up the top right of your number buttons usually). It will turn on your number buttons.

How on earth do I HIGHLIGHT something that I want to copy & paste? I just got a Dell intelcore Ultra 5 and there are no "double buttons" above the mouse pad in order to do that, or use for other functions, like moving a game piece on a video game.

That is sleep mode. Press the Fn key and at the same time press the Zz key to go to sleep. Do it again to stop the go to sleep mode.
