Perfect! Schools today like to pretend they're all about teaching technology but really all they're doing is creating end-users, loyal consumers, out of young children (and teachers alike) for tech giants. This was exactly what I was looking for for my kiddos. You have a natural ability to 'teach' and I SO appreciate the follow up to the viewers' questions. By far, the best introductory videos on here.
@akshaym1907 I, too, second your thoughts. Kudos to you, sir. You're an outstanding, high-class and amazing teacher of computer. Thumbs up 👍 to you, sir.

thanks, jesus. it's 8:03 PM and notes on this video are due for class tomorrow but thanks to your summary, i can just fluff up what you said and i'll be good since the teacher doesn't REALLY check our homework.
Thank you, Teacher, for the best lesson I ever watched about the basic of the computer. I have been taking a course of Comptia+ A, I had never studied computer before that my first time, I want to become cybersecurity and I don't have any experience in this role.
The fact that you can distill information about very powerful and essential components about computers, and into a format that a child can understand is proof that you are a genius. I believe there’s the same that true mastery of the subject is when you can explain something in terms that a child can understand. Keep up the fantastic work.
There were a few questions about the CPU and how it's measured. The CPU is measured in Hertz which is the clock rate. Basically, it's the frequency of how many instructions it can carry out in a given time. The faster the clock rate, the faster it can cycle through and execute the instructions.
I use this video with my Middle School and Intro to Tech class for high schoolers. I find it a very good, easy to understand explanation of the hardware in a computer. One of the things I usually add is that in the analogy in the library of the desk and the stacks, you (the person moving the information and doing stuff with it) are like the processor (and your arms are the cache), the books and "stuff" (notebook, pens, etc.) are the programs. I hope you don't mind my expansion of your anology! =)
You are sooo good at explaining this! And it isn't even boring and monotone like a lot of other people who try to explain these kind of things. Thanks alot sir, it's all clear now!
that was so comprehensive------ a lot of teachers have lectured these things in my class for long years .... but i was not able to understand it fully.... but after watching this in just 12 minutes.... i felt like i was enlightened hahahahah--- you are truly an amazing teacher :)
sir you did everything which you could do for teaching ...and i must say this is the full justice to the teaching profession...it was really awesome and interesting
Thank you for that awesome explanation. The interpretation of RAM with a table top and the hard drive with a library was really awesome. I will never forget this interpretation in my life.
i completed my diplamo course in ECE, here in india and decided to step in engineering...i a nt yet joined, going to join at july,in my holydays i want to learn about hardware and networking...so i was searching to learn and got ur video it is very valuable....THANK YOU SO MUCH
Same ! I thought I was the only one who remembered this video being one of the first videos I've seen regarding computers. I have completely changed my life because of computers. I remember this was one of the only videos where I understood well the content.
I have a decent knowledge already and stumbled across this while working, but I have to say that this video is very well-done and you are really quite good at explaining this stuff in a straightforward way,
Thanks for making this video, it's the perfect level of depth...everything else is either for 5 year olds or for professionals and this is the first I've found that is right in the middle.

Really thank you very much! I decided to subscribe to your channel because, I understood the one that had been disturb me till this day!. Nice, man of the year!
Thank you! This video was assigned as part of a class and I never thought I would understand. The comparisons to the "real world" examples like the toaster and desk make things super clear. Great job and thanks!
Wow! I wish I was near you school I would have learned more things because the way how you teacher is so impressive. And even if someone does not understand English very well he/she can still pick some information. I fancy your teaching. Thanks a lot.

Very good. I enjoyed the simplicity with which you taught and the practical way you brought it all to life. Your associations are very appreciated. Please do more videos!
This was such a professional teaching session, am about to start home studying IT and wanted to start up from the very begnning as i graduated high school 3 years ago but cant afford college so it you recommend any websites videos etc that would help me ill be more than thankful; i am well aware that i will need a certificate or a degree to work in this major i have planned all of that onto a mid long wave but for now any help would be appreciated thank you.
Hello, Thank you so much for a methodical lesson on the basics of the computer, its input and output decives, and how it functions as a system. Your 1st lesson helped me to revise what I have learnt about computers sicnce early 1990s. You are professional. Sincere regards! (Language teacher since 1987). Will certainly come back. --------------------------------------------------------- By the way, I'd love to learn something about CPU and motherboard compatibilty. (I prefer Ryzen CPUs.) Thank you again.
Hahaa, already knew all of these but your kind of explanations are amazing !!.. Now it's much easier for me to explain the role of RAM Memory to other people (..or simply I will recommend your videos). However, i found one day a way to explain to someone how Hyperthreading works... comparing with a child that was eating from a jar full of candies with one hand (while his mouth was the cpu) and then eating with 2 hands (much faster). :D
awesome, clear, great illustration, you really made what seemed so complex , simply and easy to understand. I love it, my kids loved it as well. just fantastic!!!
You're pretty good man I already know about PC hardware Im just here because i am hoping i would learn something i dont know I wish there was a PC club where i live to join..
I watched your lesson about 2yrs ago and now I'm back because this is the most informative video I have ever watched. Thank you for this.

+Arrash Jaffarzadeh Does "the faster the clock" mean the higher the gigahertz of the CPU or lower?
I NEED EXTRA HELP FOR TOMMOROW IM DOING A TEST PLS HELP
higher the faster coz it puts a higher number of commands per tick.

You are sooo good at explaining this! And it isn't even boring and monotone like a lot of other people who try to explain these kind of things. Thanks alot sir, it's all clear now!
