She has some skin now! (The cabin, of course). Spend the night with me? Cabin on a Cliff.

- Hi everyone - here is the follow-up video to the previous video which is why I didn't have a video posted last weekend. I have been working on these two videos but haven't been able to complete them due to varying factors.
Life at home just isn't that exciting (unless you are actually interested in watching me walk the dogs, ski with the dogs, play with the dogs, feed the dogs, brush the cat, clean the house, try, but suck at pole dancing, bake bread, watch me eat too much food, occasional soaks in the hot tub, rub Steves feet 😜 etc...), so my goal is to push forward and get some cabin videos out for you. Lord knows we all need to see that thing progressing!!! With the days being longer now, and it starting to feel like spring, I'm feeling more motivated! (and having my power station there now is making things a bit easier for me now too).
I am feeling the wheels turning again for this cabin, and that is really exciting for me! I hope it feels that way for you too.
Thanks for joining me, sticking with me, hanging out with me!
See you all in the next video!
Meow. 💕
I like the photo of you sitting in the window drinking coffee. It expresses tranquility and serenity.
Agreed, that tells the entire story of your effort.
Definitely, I most like the window one w/u dinking coffee...the next to last is also very good...the rest not-so-much...
😊 I like the ones in the window to
we ALL know now what kind of woman Steve looked for, an adventurous, self starter, hard working, industrious and very creative in figuring out how to work alone in dangerous situations along with very beautiful
Imagine looking for all of those things and hitting the lottery and getting it all and alot more !
Well, the ending scene was surely not ordinary
I couldn't choose which photo looked best because all I could say is WOW
What a finale baby…❤❤
Another masterpiece by Michygoss productions 👏👏
The shot of you sitting in the window with your coffee describes you best. You have that look of peace. I noticed that look many times throughout your videos when you stop and look out over the lake. Enjoying your videos!
I’m always looking out to the lake. In awe.
i agree that is best pic
Girl you are sure not short on ambition!!
I love the thumbnail of drinking coffee in the window!!
Oh gosh there were so many highlights in this episode! The way you handled the load challenge was awesome. The chunk of bread at roughly 21 minutes. The morning scene at around 23 minutes. Some of the walls getting completed, the window going in. What a great episode. Laughed my ass off at 29 minutes where you took the time to "relieve" yourself. All of your experiences bring back to me the wonderful and memorable times, me and my young family were "roughing it" in Colorado back in the 1970's. You know whats more cool than anything? That you are recording this experience. My young family and I lived a life similar to this, but we have to rely on a fading memories. Trust me Michelle, when you guys get to be my age, you will be so happy that this experience has been recorded. I love your UA-cam channel. Im sure you could have never known it, but you have enhanced my elderly life. Thank you, my friend. Im hooked. Im captured. Im a follower. And I sincerely look forward to the future episodes. Much Peace to you and Steve!
What a great woman. She warms my soul.
You have The coolest eyes.
Oh my goodness 😊 guess if ya got to piss ya just drop them bibs and squat and piss😮 right in front of all your followers
it's amazing how much more finished the lookout cabin is with an extra wall or two!
This channel is better than anything on TV.
What if I watch UA-cam on my TV?
@@Yanks_Fan 🤯
I love your videos!!! And your sense of humor, this one got me laughing out loud!!!
Awesome, relaxing video. One of a kind woman.
The cabin takes shape, and this place looks more like you every day, there is an exchange of good energies in this place.
You not only marked your territory but forever left a mark on the minds of us guys who are just being guys. Whew!!!!
What a honey. You must make Steve's life really complete---and never dull.
My life is never dull because of Steve! We’re a great team 😊
I’m sure you hear this all the time, we love your videos, they are always incredible relaxing and so enjoyable.
Thank you! Glad you enjoy them 😊
Okay, I thought I was impressed by not just your sills, but your drive, and then I saw you hit a 16d nail with both right and left hand swings!!! Sitting on the window sill nailing on that trim was difficult enough, but at 57 and 45 years in the industry; I still can't hit a nail left handed worth a damn. You keep doing you.
Your so funny!! . Keep up the great work and videos.
Your determination never cease to amaze me, and I do believe you, are one tough young lady, well done. I hope you have a wonderful week.
As always I can not emphasize enough how impressed with you and your work.
There's one picture where you're appearing deeply, luxuriously, contemplative of that amazing view, until someone behind you calls out.
Amazing.
In this modern world. As a builder. Boxes inside Boxes, to pay to drive Boxes, to talk on a box, watch a box. Its just refreshing seeing things like live edge and working with a landscape vrs destroying the systems to build more freaking Boxes 😂😂😂😂❤
Your appreciation for those one of a kind moments is what keeps you going...in the middle of nowhere!
Hi Michy, you are amazing! It is really cool to see how much you have learned and honing your new skills on all your proojects.
OMG what a view! And that sourdough! Thanks so much for sharing this with us, as you
said, your magical place. If UA-cam gave out humanitarian awards, you & Steve should get one for all you both do.
Thank you so much!
Nice view. Mountains and lake are nice too. You are an extraordinary woman, be safe and happy.
Cougar jokes aside, I think the thumbnail drinking coffee just represents the cabin build the best. Just so peaceful
LOL I LITERALLY SPIT COFFEE WHEN YOU MARKED YOUR TERRITORY!! ONCE AGAIN YOU MADE MY DAY!!! THE CABIN LOOKS AMAZING,AND ANY OF THOSE PICS WOULD BE GREAT THUMBNAILS. LOVE YA MY NORTHERN BUDDY!!
The coffee pot is just perfect. I have had one like it for 20years, solid 304 stainless steel and almost indestructible. So many on UA-cam and in real life spend all kinds of $$$ on fancy espresso machines but that little pot makes awesome coffee. You can use it on any stove or even straight on a camp fire. I don’t know why all the van life people and outdoor types don’t all have them. Nice to see this was much less of an infomercial. 😁
I’ve been on UA-cam for over two years now, and have only done 2 sponsored videos. I know channels that do them as soon as they can, and as often as they can.
@@michygoss7148 no doubt I agree no need to feel you need to justify anything to me. My only reason I have said anything is because for me (and I am far from normal) adverts or infomercials turn me off 100%. I don’t think my opinion is of any value to be honest but a huge reason why I liked your content so much is because you did not do paid advertising. All the best to you, you need to do what you need to do. Hope your channel does what you hope it will do.
All the thumbnail photos are beautiful.....They have what all men enjoy......Attractive woman, a rustic cabin and views letting you know God is Good. I enjoy watching your videos with all the drive , energy and passion that you put into every project of this awesome build. Thank You for Sharing.
I’m 68 and I’ve done quite a bit of carpentry plumbing and electrical work, pretty much a handyman. I admire you, you make me smile. And you swing a hammer like you mean business, I love it. Thank you for the videos.
I absolutely love your videos. You are building like the rest of us. If you don’t know exactly how you figure it out. And the attention to the finished details really makes it special.
I’m most looking forward to the finishing details. That’s what I feel like I’m best at/most interested in. Soon!!!
Good bit of progress as usual. That window not breaking was really lucky!
The shot of the coffee time in the window is the best !!! Great job on the build.
You are one really hard working lady that isn't afraid of anything thing that I can see.
I know you guys don't hunt so I'm assuming you're not gun people, but you should really have bear spray on you and probably an air horn. It's only a matter of time before you have an actual cougar encounter and it will probably be by yourself with no dogs. An air horn will probably scare a predator away, bear spray would be your close encounter backup. Once you hike into the forest you're no longer top of the food chain unless you're packing heat.
It’s winter no bears there hibernating
I'm guessing with a Biden wannabe like Justin he won't like if our Northern neighbors had the 2nd amendment to protect themselves.
I actually have both a horn and bear spray in my shed, but never remember to pack them with me up and down. 😐
Listen to these wise words girl. They are key to your survival. I for one do not hunt as I am not fond of wild meat, therefore would not take a life,,,,,,,,unless it was absolutely necessary for self preservation. I absolutely do think that having a firearm at the ready would be a wise choice. If you disagree, put some thought into the following scenario. You have your husband and / or a guest up there, that is cornered by a cat , bear or any other preditor and you have no way of saving them other than with a firearm. Would you not use it, with perhaps a warning shot hoping that it would suffice to deter the preditor and if needed fire a kill shot to save a human life that is dear to you? Don't tempt fate, arm yourself as a last means of defence.
@@michygoss7148 recently I have watched several grizzly attacks on YT. It is amazing how fast they are on you, please consider more than bear spray which as you said is not on you when going up and down the hill. If you watch enough videos you will see multiple times were bear spray did not stop the charge and if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction, YOU ARE SCREWED.
Watch the yt video of Mark Uptain a experienced hunter/guide killed in Wyoming, it just happens so fast you need that weapon on you and not in the shed.
This was one of your best episodes! Absolutely love this cabin and watching you succeed building it. I am pushing 80 now and would absolutely love working on that project-you are amazing!!❤❤❤
Steve is a very lucky man, to have found a project junkie/worker bee like you, with so many talents…..more pls….Montreal is admiring….🤭
The coffee-peer-a-lu shot. Looking over the lake, perched on your window sill, chillin' with a cup of java... Awesome....
Very fine work from start to finishing 🙋♂️🐈🐈
Michy, you epitomize everything that a strong, beautiful and very smart woman is. It's always fun watching your channel, and this episode (with you marking your territory) at the end... was perfection. Next to Steve, I am your biggest fan!
The last thumbnail showing your legs was great. Best looking Canadian. Thanks for your videos.
picture 4. the one with you drinking coffee in the window.
this cabin is becoming your best life. side of a cliff, bringing supplies down in a creative fashion, all by your self. the peace and quiet. yep. you are living your best life.
tanx fer da video dudette.
You are doing great! A suggestion, you and Steve might want to consider is an addition to the "sky-mule" platform. Add a slanted section so as you push off the load, the load can slide down "the ramp" and have a nicer transition before being fully supported by the sky-mule. Anyway, I am enjoying your vids - you and Steve have a beautiful place - love the scenery!
Yeah, that’s a great idea!
You are amazing! The drone shots were insanely beautiful. You will have the cabin livable in no time. Best wishes!
I like the photo from inside drinking coffee with the sun behind you.
Should build sidewalls out of snow on the hill like a bobsled track and just sled down it with everything in tow
Your view out over the lake is just amazing. I am sure that just watch nature and the world go by will be just great. A great place to visit. It was worth getting your power station to the cabin. Considering your facilities your food is rather bizarre!! And Steve turned down the offer for a vacation. And no additional live stock showed up during the night! Tie a bit of coloured string around the trees to fell.
You marking your territory should be the snapshot!!
Was für eine tolle Aussicht
My favorite thumbnail was you sitting in the window with both legs stretched to the other side of the window. Great legs! ❤
I like the thumbnail of you kicking back, in the window opening, drinking your coffee!
The thumbnail I choose is the one from inside out. I think that you should make the window pop out so when the cabin is finished you can stil sit in the window looking out. Thank you for making this video so I can see what I would like to have but do not have. I love it.
Loved it..The finish was superb!... a little closer perhaps would have been nice!
😂
When I look at the beauty of your surroundings I realize what a blessing you and Steve bring us every week. THANK YOU! For all your hard work and effort to bring us these amazing experiences of your lives.
The views of the mountains over the water are breathtaking...
when loads are moved, overhead, downhill, tie a tagline on the side closest to you. you can control the load going straight
Nice progress sista!
Thank you, you never cease to amaze us.
Great and fun job.
Ahhhh! I loved photo number 5.
🤗
Window sitting with coffee looking at far......they are all beautiful....Thank you for this great video...Have an amazing week, ...
Any pose showing your lovely leg's, your sultry smile and a cabin with a view ticks all the right boxes for me. Love your work.
Hey mitchy,
This is so way off topic but, I am curious. The bridge you cross seems historical and what I am wondering is, is it maintained? Does an engineer check it from time to time and does your govt have interest in keeping it viable...if you know thanks.
It is an old rail grade, so built for trains. It does go through engineering checks here and there, not sure how often though.
Michelle, my hat goes off to you!!! I love the first photo....They don't make Women like this anymore, they do, its just rare. My Grandmother was a farmer, carpenter & everything. My Mother was an artist, potter & painter farmer. But she painted more then just canvas. She be up two stories on a ladder painting our old cinder-block house, help with the shed, fence & so much more. May She R.I.P. 🍀🍀🍀 And her son, I make rustic furniture from old reclaimed lumber, doors, headboards. Watching you Michelle is inspiring!!!🍀🍀🍀
I like all photos but the one in the window is the best. Beautiful lady, and beautiful view!
Marking your spot “stunned” me BUT when you said there’s only enough room !! Literally I busted out laughing!👍🏻Love that sense of humor!!
Don’t know what the thumbnail poll was about because ALL are awesome!👍🏻
Keep up the amazing work!❤️🔥❤️🔥
Genius solution to moving the supplies down to the platform. You’re always thinking. Yet another use for your saw horses. Telling you, you’re going to want to keep them! Marking your territory! Too funny!
Like thumbnail #3. Stay safe lady!
Stunning location. Great job👍👍 I loved the evening sequence. Took me back to the 1970s when I re built and lived a quarrymans stone cottage on the side of a mountain in N Wales, originally built around 1832. I say I rebuilt, the truth is I was apprentice to my then father in law, and actually learnt so much over the two years it took.
In the evenings we would sit out on the side of the mountain, sometimes with a fire, with that silence only the mountains bring. Great memories.
I was as impressed as all hell that you managed to finish the smaller cabin in such an inaccessible place. The larger cabin will be a huge achievement and a stunning place to stay.
I've been looking forward to seeing that south wall nailed in.
Very exciting. Watching the video wearing shorts in my cold 64 degree apartment so I can appreciate the visual of the fire in the barrel.
I must say I was thinking how fun it might be riding the black tool toboggan down to the Skymule from the roadway.
Guess you'd only do it once. No steerage on it. Would be neat if you could bury some metal 2" diameter ducting in the ground from the burn barrel up into the cabin with a threaded cap or plate on end to turn off heat when needed. Not sure if I could get used to that cold.
Having some Bear spray or maybe a can of flammable hornet spray with a Bic lighter in your pocket might be a handy thing to have incase of big animal sighting.
Having your personal hornet spray flame thrower might keep those animals away. Just brain storming here.
Looking forward to seeing you eat Catchup chips sitting in window frame on other side.
Nothing you ever do is ordinary. Love it.
The best thumbnail, to me is your silohuette in the window with a cup of coffee...deep thought and calm. I love watching your progress on the cliff cabin; you are doing an amazing job on it, good on you! I absolutely love the cliff cabin and its awesome surroundings/views. I Can't wait to see the finished project!! 😁🙂
Another very calm video in such an amazing place you are creating something very special not long before you will have that woodburner on cosy
Happy days
I'm so glad I found you on UA-cam. You won't get rid of the Norwegian (Viking) any time soon. Love how you handle all situations, and dream of being there with you, and helping you with everything, all the time.🥰
There's NO quit in you. 💥💥💥👍🤪
Pretty jelly of what your finish line is gonna be like,,,,sooooo beautiful. 👍👍👍😎
thumbnails were all nice , but I couldn't unsee in my mind the scram cat spray that was next level, lol great job thanks for sharing.
Wow what a location! As for working alone, I enjoy the solitude of that ...and do it often. This is what a build in the wilderness is all about. :)
I do love it too. I love working by myself. I chose a pretty hard location though, so I’m struggling a bit with that aspect.
I’m gettin’ there though!
Beautiful homestead. Like the first thumbnail best but all great. Thanks for sharing be safe have fun enjoy your homestead
Marking your Territory That's funny You're something else girl😅keep up the good work Gene Gorringe Mi USA 🇺🇸 💕 ✌️ 🇬🇧 be safe out there watch your six God bless 😅
😂🤭
The most magnificent picture is you in the morning sitting in the window with your coffee. It brings out the majesty of the place.
Great winter camp out , and with the bread and fire. You re doing great with your project.
I find it absolutely fascinating how you make things work. Cabin is in one beautiful location.
Having coffee sitting in the window opening is the best.
Thanks for sharing. Hope the pups had an activity while you were gone and appreciate you sharing your adventure with us.
Thank you for the video, the view from the tiny cabin is beautiful! You did a lot of work in two days. The wall looks great! Be safe, stay healthy, & God Bless everyone.
That view is breath taking, I can't wait to see your finished cabin!
Sehr schönes Video. Viel Glück und Spass beim arbeiten. 👍Grüße aus Germany
The last set of photos are all great. The music you put with them really enhances how serene it is up there. Love how it is all coming together
Such a great job moving all that heavy stuff... Way to just push forward, no matter what!
It’s starting to come together and it’s lookin great. Be careful. Great vision by the way.
Great video you marking your territory was funny but at the same time I hope it keeps the cats away. Keep up the great work.
thumbnail....drinking coffee with the light beams coming through! Very cool
I just watched the short where you complemented Steve, it was very nice. Glad he is your inspiration. Wilber and Margaret
That’s for reminding me about that! I almost think I’m due for another Steve compliment!
that was hard getting all your equipment down. but then you started on the wall and you managed to get it finished. Well done. I like the picture of you sitting in the window looking towards the water.
I loved ALL the still shots but the one close up of you smiling is my fav. Props to you.
прекрасное озеро!! Прекрасные горы! Прекрасная женщина !!!!Спасибо за видео!!!
looks like a great time. i always liked the build style of use what you got and make it work vs doing it to how "code" maybe. its and off grid cabin and it looks fantastic!
Always secure those windows! Never know Gust of wind, Hammer vibration! Lucky no breakage. Anyway girl you remind me of my two sisters and my wife. Strong and fearless!
You always find a way...so awesome!
Your 'crazy' is beginning to show, we love it
Marking your territory, smart move! I am enjoying seeing your tool collection grow as the build continues.
