I leave my XT5 on raw+jpg & backup. (In case I forget to set that before a client job). For the XH2, I leave it on raw+jpeg and separate. This is only because it's a combination of CFexpress and SD. With raw going to CFexpress and jpg to SD, it can clear the buffer really quickly when shooting at high burst rates. (If card 1 failed though, I'd only have the jpegs, so it means paying extra attention to exposure and white balance). When first buying the XH2, I was a bit annoyed by the high cost of CFexpress, but having used it, I think I'd rather just have 2x CFexpress slots in something like the XH2.
Thank you Peter for that. I did find it kind of confusing even though I going through you for a while I have a question for you the focus box, the auto focus box can you change the color or increase the brilliancy of that box I know you can change the size but can you change the color it’s you know it’s like the faded green and it’s coming a little brighter but I’m up there chronologically, ……….that bright green sometimes gets lost in the background I was wondering if there are other colors available I thank you in advance if you hit me with this question as always, your work is always good and I’ll always important to us pushy people. Thank you for your effort and your time. Rustyironmiked
Thank you! To my knowledge there is no way to change the intensity or color of the focus box. You can make the viewfinder icons larger however. That has helped me a lot.
How do you save data on your Fujifilm camera?
RAW/card 1, JPEG/card 2 (as you suggested). Always have. Seems to work for me, although I can understand if others want to save differently.

Great, your quick video save me the trouble to research the question. Greatly appreciated. Any quick tips will help me as a slow learner.
Glad to help!

The camera won't take a RAW and a JPG photos. She takes one and saves two different format files.
Right - 2 versions of the same photo.
separate is good enough, jpeg now days are very good, and being good in Photoshop i can di magic with a jpeg file
The reason to record backup has nothing to do with using or editing jpeg files, it’s to make sure you don’t lose everything if one card goes bad.
