Th main problem with games like dance evolution is the fact that it was never suitable for the US/EU market which is why no other releases were made. Meanwhile in asia, the arcade version of the game has pretty much replaced ddr

@SuacideKang Well ofc it did. First of all, MGS has always been a kind of niche game. The slow gameplay, the long cutscenes, the boss fights etc, is not for all gamers. CoD is MUCH more mainstream than MGS. Add to the fact that US gaming industry is much bigger now than it was in the 80's-90's and you'll get the picture. Not only that, the amount advertisements behind CoD is just ridiculous. You see it everywhere and you have a new game every year.

For Cod to outsell even the might MGS makes konami AKA KOJ AKA KOA, and KOE look like a joke. Don't get me wrong, konami was an incredible company from the 1980's through the late 90's, but they've been getting destroyed by the US market. They use to lead the music gaming market, but only in the Japan, sadly not in America.
