If you hold the base of the bullet against the bottom of the top punch, you don't have to worry about it getting stuck on the ejection pin. I found that out the hard way. Got one stuck on the pin. I had to pull it apart to get it off.
great video series. I have purchased the Richard Corbin set up .. the Walnut hill. Since I ordered the lead tip die i'm still waiting on my die set. I have been making 9mm lead bullets with it. Richard has lead wire by the way in 25 pound spools a little cheaper than Dave. I have a couple of molds that are adjustable core molds. I noticed that you kind of use the trial and error method of cutting your wire. i have a xls spread sheet to calculate core weight if you want it
If we look very closely at a .224 hollow-point like a Barnes 55gr JHP FB w/ copper jacket, we can see many vertical lines in the ogive area & even feel them very slightly with our thumbnail. The wrinkles on yours may be a tiny-bit more obvious but, yours is excellent ammo nonetheless. Nice work and one less thing to be dependent upon.
You really got to get the groups way down. I shoot benchrest aim for one hole groups!!!! I can be done! But it ain’t easy. Consistency is the key! Same weight nitrocellulose Same weight bullet Same primer Same cartridge Same headspace into the lands 0.003 Same neck size Same TEMPERATURE same wind Temperature affects cartridges a lot Increase temp increase pressure Decrease temp decrease pressure. No copper in the barrel use Sweets for copper Fouling
@@ammosmith Sorry to hear. But understand. All the equipment today can truly cost a lot to stay up to date. I for one can't do it as Social Security doesn't pay enough to hardly live on much less buy many toys to enjoy retirement on. I end up making most of mine. That is what the Mini Metal Lathe helps me with.
Ammosmith are you still here? This is about 10 years old so I'm asking? Would love to talk to you in person if your close by. Talk to you on Phone if not. I have some things that I'm not sure you nor I would want everyone out there to knowing about.

Are these bullets accurate? Like could you use these for competition?

Este é o kit de conversão 22lr - 223? Vocês entregam no Brasil? Como faço para comprar?
Eu não vendo o equipamento. Existem restrições à exportação fora dos EUA.
