Mate, I really appreciate your love for our "Pub Rock"! It has a cool sort of DNA that brings people together just to rock out! Keep up the good work 🇦🇺🤘🇺🇸. Respect from Straya.
Your joy is infectious! That’s why so many Aussies love watching along with you! It’s totally like rediscovering it with your friend that loves music! Keep doing you bro! Much ❤️ ✌️
You should definitely check out > Too Much Ain’t Enough Love ( the original music video ) by Jimmy. Such a great song and pretty much nobody has reacted to it. It’s one of my favourites of his. Also you should check out another great Aussie Band called Mondo Rock > Come Said The Boy would be my suggestion but they have a lot of great songs. Love your channel 🇦🇺
Absolutely that song is incredible, also Waiting for the Heartache to Come my two favourite tracks off the mega album Freight Train Heart. Both equally as amazing in my opinion. ua-cam.com/video/RiDCl8rqQ_Y/v-deo.html
I agree! That is Jimmy Barnes' best song!...and he's done many of them. Massive production quality, massive voice, killer world class saxophone solo, incredible, genius hooks through the whole song !! Shocking a song like this never "made it" to the USA.
Please please please check out “Too much ain’t enough love”, I guarantee you’ll love it, and I can already see you singing along with it. Your love for Farnsey and Barnsey puts a massive smile on this Aussie’s face. Thank you!
Your reaction gave me emotion tears of enjoyment. The way you express enjoyment on the outside is how my emotions feel on the inside when I hear awesome music. Music without a doubt can cause emotions like no other. That reason alone is why music will always be my most favorite thing on 🌎
I only discovered your channel a week ago and I freakin love your reactions sooo much. I grew up in the 80's and I'm loving how you are helping me to remember the íncredible artists we had in Australia. Barnsey has always been my number 1 too and then INXS. Thanks for showíng the class acts we were spoilt with. It's bringing back the most awesome memories ♥️♥️🇦🇺
Now you're talkin'. This is GOLD! This whole album is fantastic. I remember going to see the Two fires tour in 1990 at Waves nightclub in Wollongong Australia. It was a flawless show and the Baby Animals performed first and they were flawless too. One of the best nights ever! I'll never forget it. Great choice who ever requested it, great choice indeed! Thanks ✌🇦🇺
OMG I have not heard that song in so many years and I love it. You're reactions to both Jimmy and John are my favorites. I had such a big smile on my face watching this. 😁
😂😂 The amount of times I’ve heard you say “This is my favourite Jimmy Barnes song” makes me laugh. I feel the same. Endlessly classics, and so many more for you to come and experience.
Your reaction to this is just like the one I had to hearing Two Fires for the first time. Early one morning in 1990 I flicked on the telly to watch Rage and wow!
oh I'm so happy you did this song 🎵 it's one of my favourite songs 🎵 you definitely need to do ' too much ain't enough love ', I just LOVED seeing your reaction to this song ❤️ I'll be smiling all week 💖
This was a hit single for Jimmy but from the same "Two Fires" album, "Lay down your guns" was an even bigger hit. Two Fires was his fourth solo album with his fifth being the first foray into soul, "Soul Deep". Soul Deep is the album that gave us the duet with John Farnham, "When something is wrong with my baby". All five of these albums went to number 1 in Australia. Unfortunately he didn't do quite as well with the next three releases as they only made it to number 2.
Every Jimmy/chisel song is my favorite because just when you think you’ve found the best one, there is a million more to follow x I’ve been listening to this since it was released and still feel the same way you do x that whole album is killer !! But so is everything he does x
Lol. Love watching your love for JB. You're such a dag (that's a compliment 🤣...mostly haha) Keep up the great reactions to our Aussie talent Nick. LOVING IT. X
Your reaction videos really showcase when music was real in comparison to the rubbish that we hear today. Another track that you will appreciate by Jimmy Barnes is "Too Much Ain't Enough Love". Also another track by John Farnham called "A Touch Of Paradise".
"Slap me across the back and make me a ham-hog" . Gold. There must be a way to get the this bloke to Aus to see a live Jimmy Barnes show. $5 each would do it. I'd pay that to see him at a gig and film and potentially meet the great man.
Finally an American who appreciates talent outside of his/her own country! A travesty this man wasn’t even bigger outside of Australia and New Zealand, he had pipes that could shatter windows and wake up mummies! Jimmy is a national treasure 🇦🇺🦘
Peak peak rock solo Jimmy before he mellowed and discovered soul and then did THAT brilliantly. The songs on that album were ridiculously structured - so complex musically and then he just nailed them. ‘Lay Down Your Guns’ is a song that has so much to it, so many layers, like no other song before or since, and it’s hard to think of anyone else touching it - but Jimmy just said ‘Hold my beer’…
ThaNkZ🇳🇿. Jimmy's my favourite then and now. Have been to many of his shows here in NZ and Aussie. He has never done a crappy show that I know of. . Thanks 🙏
Yes mate... This is one of my favourite tracks from Jimmy.... He's got so many yet they ALL have different flavours lyrically, vocally,musically....Great everything in this cut....Fantastic audio mix too. Love your reaction. I played this many times from a relationship that didn't work years back. She and I weren't meant to be.
This song is one of my favourite JB songs, yet somehow makes me sad as well lol. His voice is spectacular. Too Much Ain't Enough Love must be next please.
He could hold his own with the Great Tina Turner. This song was written by Diane Warren, as for his pipes, he trained in opera first. Amazing man! I love Jimmy Barnes!!
TOO MUCH AIN'T ENOUGH LOVE is as good if not better. good to see you are enjoying Cold Chisel and Jimmy as well as Jimmy's entire Family. We are huge Aussie rock fans on your page. your smile... welcome to Australian music. 🎼🎵🎶
Yeah but nah. He absolutely looked like he was going pop but then he'd sing and just couldn't bring himself to do it. 😄Always makes me chuckle a little when I see his hair and clothes from that time but then you listen to the music and it still rocks🤘
You need to get your butt down under brother, in October/November he is touring the country with the red hot summer tour, but not only Jimmy a whole array of great Aussie talent will be on show so come on down🇦🇺🇦🇺👍💪🤯
As an Aussie Barnsey and Johnny (Farnham) are true legends! They actually have a duet “when something is wrong with my baby” that shows both their voices
Great song I still prefer "I'd Die TO Be With You Tonight" "Seven Days" "Ain't No Second Prize" and the best of all his songs the live version of "Last Frontier" about Australia should be National Anthem.
I’ve gotta say, watching your reactions to some out favourite songs as Aussies is so damn beautiful. Thank you. ♥️
Mate, I really appreciate your love for our "Pub Rock"! It has a cool sort of DNA that brings people together just to rock out! Keep up the good work 🇦🇺🤘🇺🇸. Respect from Straya.

I third it, sensational song!!
Love this song. Jimmy’s voice is just crazy in this one. Totally makes sense that this is your favourite

You have made me appreciate so much music I took for granted as ordinary Aussie pop/rock music.
I only discovered your channel a week ago and I freakin love your reactions sooo much. Great reaction by you.
Had me in stitches with the ham hock comment! 😆
I love this song too. Takes me back to high school days.
Your reaction to this is just like the one I had to hearing Two Fires for the first time. Early one morning in 1990 I flicked on the telly to watch Rage and wow!
Loved your reaction and made me love the song all over again🥰

He goes high in this. Also Star Hotel- high! People underestimate his vocal range in my opinion! Keep smiling my man ❤️

Goosebumps though out the whole song. I just love Jimmy sooo much., what a song!! This and "Waiting for the heartache" are my favourites.

Ive been listening to this song for 30 years. Its weird seeing someone hear it for the first time
"American Heartbeat" and "No Second Prize" are his best in my opinion.
American Heartbeat is such an underrated gem!
"Slap me across the back and make me a ham-hog" . Gold. There must be a way to get the this bloke to Aus to see a live Jimmy Barnes show. $5 each would do it. I'd pay that to see him at a gig and film and potentially meet the great man.
We should start a Go Fund me to get Nick here for a JB gig
Released in 1990, it made number 12 on the ARIA charts here. So yeah, it ranked high!!
I'm over here flashing back to high school!

Marcy Levy (Marcella Detroit) and Wendy Fraser sing backup. =) Marcella was in Shakespear's Sister and Wendy sang on "She's Like The Wind".

As a fellow reactor, but firstly an Aussie. I salute you for doing some Jimmy Barnes.
He could hold his own with the Great Tina Turner. This song was written by Diane Warren, as for his pipes, he trained in opera first. Amazing man! I love Jimmy Barnes!!
Hahah, great reaction Nick, brilliant song ❤️

I think the word we are all grasping for is....
INIMITABLE Meaning...So good or unusual as being impossible to copy.
If you like that song then you're gonna love 'No Second Prize' by Jimmy Barnes. He even goes higher!

Oh man this takes me back. Went to the 1990 Two Fires tour @ Newcastle showground. Concrete Blonde and Stray Catz support.
Please do Lay Down Your Guns and I Gotcha another of my fave Jimmy Barnes, love listening to him and his voice.
Your reactions are legendary Nick!
Also can’t wait for you to get to my request… I’m excited…
I love this one!
My favourite is Jimmy's track "Still By Your Side" but the live & acoustic version from the Flesh & Wood recordings
This is the more pop-oriented Jimmy of the early 90s.
Yeah but nah. He absolutely looked like he was going pop but then he'd sing and just couldn't bring himself to do it. 😄Always makes me chuckle a little when I see his hair and clothes from that time but then you listen to the music and it still rocks🤘
Counting down the day's to the concert 9 to go.❤️🎵🎵🥰

Agreed !! The best song
I love your reaction to this lol
YAAAAAAY!
Ive been trying to Sing Jimmy for years. I just need another octave and Im there haha
As an Aussie Barnsey and Johnny (Farnham) are true legends! They actually have a duet “when something is wrong with my baby” that shows both their voices
That was the first Jimmy and Johnny one he reacted to.
@@nicoleharper7565 ah dam must have missed it :)
This is also my favourite barnesy songs.
Great song I still prefer "I'd Die TO Be With You Tonight" "Seven Days" "Ain't No Second Prize" and the best of all his songs the live version of "Last Frontier" about Australia should be National Anthem.
Totally forgot all about this song and how great it is.

Waiting for you to find Jimmy's song The Weight, Stand Up and Thankful For The Rain , 3 of my absolute faves!
Two Fires was an incredible album....somewhat underrated.
Need to hear you belt out a Jimmy classic.
