I also love-am obsessed- with David Bowie, have been since I first heard Changes age 13. His unique looks, turning and twisting with his own strange and beautiful music and styles. So talanted, so beautifully attractive to boys and girls alike. I'm 50 in June and that awful morning I heard he had died, it was like I'd been punched in the stomach. I still love his music, but when I listen to it, I can't help but cry. It's now 1st May, although his gorgeous body's gone, I believe he is as alive as ever in spirit. We are essentially made of energy and energy can't be destroyed. His body (vessel ) was something he had to leave, but he still exists. No doubt watching all this with interest.
Yeah, we're two now... I've been obssesed with him for 5 years now and how I wished I knew his music before he died. He has helped me to go through a lot in my life, I love him so much
A clone of yours from France. Feel exactely the same, each album was deciphered and beloved. So indebted to his albums, concerts, videos, plays, films, interviews, courage, faithfulness ingeniuty...miss him till I die...I was not born when he released his 1st album in 1967 after years of struggling. Born with Space Oddity...2 videos already. Sincerily
The man, a legend. The songs, a masterpiece. The concerts, unique perfection. You are so deeply missed. R.I.P. .... Bye, bye, spaceboy ...... Moondust will cover you
OMG this song associated with the vidéo were intense, thought provoking about our future having become our sordid reality which is even worse ...David s voice is more aggressive and expressive than on the CD...the music arrangement more industrial décadent rock which turns back the clocks to the 70s...the Pet Shop Boys soft treatment is subdued. Seasons ' greetings from France
Absolutely awesome version. I'm tired just watching it! In hind sight he put so much into his performances that he ended with heart problems. Of course, it could have been damaged from the cocaine of the 80's too. It's too bad because he could still be performing today even at 68.
I don`t know how to explane this, but when I`m listening this song I just feel how my mind is fly so far away to the Mars, to the David wherever he is now. I just feel myself so fantastic and I don`t want to lose this feelings.
Many thanks, my friend. This video has been selected and published, about a month ago, by the Magazine "Rolling Stone". I suppose, for the great value of the piece and for the magnificent performance: the nth, but due tribute to DAVID BOWIE (and... an add value for YT). In my opinion, it's a drawing up among the most superb and complete of Rock so far created, farsighted. Bowie's ingeniousness!
the Master..at work...love this rendition....Gaga, gotta be depressed DB, came back after a decade, her 15 min are just about gone, the red sands of the hour glass, just about gone..!!! :-)
+supersonicbird11 Gaga has a very long way to go to even be anywhere close to Bowie. Not gonna happen though. He has been around so long and has made so much awesome music I don't believe anyone can approach him and please don't mention the Rolling Stones. Yes they've been around a long time too but they can't touch Bowie and the quality of the man's music and Mick Jagger sounds terrible live and always has.
Beautiful video, another amazing performance, so much energy, Hello Spaceboy...definitely out of this world : ) Thanks again Fiorella, you always put a smile on my face and a song in my heart ♥♥♫♥♫♥♥
@redsails2008 Indeed. In these performances, evident is the background of not only great experiences by a redoubtable Musician, but by perfect synthesis of sound, literary, visual, conceptual, pictorial, interpretive border (with an incredible voice, to say the least), all aligned through a blend overwhelming, amazing. The effect, exactly, is surreal (although palpable). Master Mr. Bowie ! Your exclamation is ... realistic, thank you.
The REAL Bowie chaos version :-) not the soft PSB version, haha. Much closer to my metal taste, though for a long time I knew (and liked) only the pop version...
Spaceboy, you're sleepy now. Your silhouette is so stationary. You're released but your custody calls. And I want to be free. Don't you want to be free. Do you like girls or boys. It's confusing these days. But Moondust will cover you. Cover you. This chaos is killing me! 🖤⬛🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
I cant remember where i saw him live do this live and He looked Sexy Doing this Heels How the hell he did not go over the heels I loved the way he Still could cross that Boundary of that Non Binary But still have that individual Identity..
I think is the NIN show sans NIN the outside tour, he performed in Europe as a solo act as I recall- I did catch the outside- was amazing even with NIN...lucky ive seen bowie since Diamond dogs in 1974-to his last tour Reality in 2003- w/ Macy Gray as the opener-she was great ! so all in all I count 12 times live ;))))))
+supersonicbird11 Wow. 12 times to my 4. This Loreley Concert is absolutely seething. The man was at the top of his game here. Would love to have it CD. I have A REality Tour CD but it doesn't seem to have the excitement of this concert. The only problem with this show is that "the chaos is killing me"-LOL!!
nallly quite lucky - but he was a touchstone of my life- can tell you what I was doing at the time by hearing a bowie song. I have plenty of memories of DB, we would rush the stage and be right at his feet, great times. RIP Starman
I hear you. I remember driving around my home town in Boston as a teenager in my friends mother's Chevy Impala, blasting "David Live" in Philadelphia (The Tower). Those were the early days for sure. I've always loved DB and had so much joy listening to him at all stages of my life. That's why his death has bothered me like no other celebrity death has. He still left us with a life time of music to listen to and I always will till the day when I return to "Ashes to Ashes". Enjoy the music and turn it up to 11 !!!
@BravuraK For Bowie, the Rock seems a powerful means of expression about the phantasmagoric human costumes, with a fascination (coloured by a smiling detachment) leading and painting to the "extreme", for better focus as in a mirror. He does not judge them: accepts them and surmounts them in his imagination stage, sublimating. It takes a summative talent, keen intelligence, deep culture, great experience, irony on the status of our conditioning. ART !!! Thanks, I share: the unique One.
Bowie was a simply Genius...not just a real musician, but same twice a huge artist. The 1 n' only!!!
my god he's full of stars
He is Stardust and a part of us all. 💕
His voice here is stunning. Best ever version with Reeves doubling the hook. Just a classic Bowie in all his mastery.

I just love how he hypnotically motions himself with that micstand like he’s a character model from Guitar Hero
I love it with Pet Shop Boys, it's like two treasures at same time
Pure energy!!!!
Those shows were too good to be true....
Bowie is in good voice here.
David Bowie is a true Genius way ahead of his yr's regarding music...RIP Ziggie Stardust...True art never die's MJ ..!!
He left before these dark times... But his Songs will get us through....
david was the whole package of what a rock star should be
i love this song
my favorite song of David, and is difficult to choose, but this song really blows my head
this chaos is killing me!
2:58
Cant believe how powerful this still sounds. They once performed this with the Foo Fighters. Three drummers (!). Pure joyful madness
Sucks that he got the Foo Fighters at the Birthday concert. The version with Nine Inch Nails was MUCH better

Ricky Rhoades Its not the side effects of the cocaine
+David Dundas He's thinking that it must be love...
Love for us
He'd stopped coke by the 80s.
@@dexterdog717 For David it`s never late to be grateful)
i dare anybody to find a bad performance of that song. i've seen quite a few on youtube ... blows my mind everytime.

Totally Great So Fab ... I'm inspired by David so I tried a YT original ... Space Boy - Maggie is hurting me ... I'm so grateful.
1996 is like yesterday for me. I watched spaceboy on TV in 1996 live.
the band is super also!
I don`t know how to explane this, but when I`m listening this song I just feel how my mind is fly so far away to the Mars, to the David wherever he is now. I just feel myself so fantastic and I don`t want to lose this feelings.

BOWIE IS GOD
This is what a very bad psychedelic trip sound like in your head. Absolutely amazing!
Thank you for sharing this video. We can't see Bowie live anymore but this helps to make up for it!!
