I guess you guys are getting a little confused... of course this is a masterpiece album but...it's been since at least "diamond dogs" that BOWIE has been giving us but masterpieces!!! .-)
@leonakita @Ghaiyst No, please don't talk that bad about Heathen and Reality. I dearly love them both (Heathen more). Of course they lack the pure power and energy of Outside and Earthling, but they are great in their own right. I would not want to miss masterpieces like "Sunday" or "Bring Me The Disco King", for example. Of course he was and is getting older, but this is not a bad thing ... I would very much like to see an "older" Bowie now, not tomorrow (=never) ;-)
man, maybe you can help me. is there some really GOOD recording from 2002 tour with the entire Low album played live? it would be a near death experience for me :)
@leonakita Thats what I was thinking when searching these outside videos, since I don't like earthling anymore. hahahahahaha yea his heathen and reality works were just real basic. I sont blame him though. He is getting pretty old. Heck, I even understand why he's not doing new stuff.It'sallbecausehe'sgettingold.LikeIwon'tblamemygrandpa I have now if he says "no its ok. Ill comebylater though." and never shows up. if you examine the cover to hours, its a promise that his energy is being put away
I'm sure it was actually a five-album plan, with the final in the series released in 2000. Was it the record company that halted these plans? Great shame, in my view.
A revitalized Bowie gives us OUTSIDE and then EARTHLING... 2 very different but equally creative works.....but then it all goes progressively to hell with HOURS, HEATHEN AND REALITY... the latter, his last work in 2003, being maybe the biggest piece of shit he ever released! I have yet listen to that album start to finish.. its just a complete uninspired, uncreative, standard rock n roll affair that has me skipping thru the pedestrian trash. A shame,I too would quit & retire to the Carribean !
A bit obsessed with this album at the minute even though i havent figured it out yet
Bowie´s BEST album EVER, and people don´t seen to realize...
definately my favourite!

I know. It paints such incredible pictures in my head.
Great album! Shame he didn’t make part 2…
@@hancock1934 totally agree. I read it was supposed to be a trilogy
Outside should've made the charts- amazing album, nothing else compared at the time.

yeah, bowie consistently made amazing shit.
I still listen to this and “Earthling” all the time.
It didn‘t make the charts because good music rarely makes the charts.
A Masterpiece ! I can tell you quickly without a second listening 🤩

Not the best album ever, but among the best classic Bowie albums, worthy of been numbered between his classic albums of the '70's...
Album was fantastic this live Nono
I guess you guys are getting a little confused... of course this is a masterpiece album but...it's been since at least "diamond dogs" that BOWIE has been giving us but masterpieces!!! .-)
@esputos best album by far... but it is a Bowie/Eno album, if only Fripp had been involved!

@manaquina Are you still looking for it? I can give you some advice. ;-)
man, maybe you can help me. is there some really GOOD recording from 2002 tour with the entire Low album played live? it would be a near death experience for me :)
manaquina yes there is ..live in montreal
Très bien, mais apparemment cette version a été légèrement modifiée par rapport à l'originale, ce qui ne l'empêche pas d'être super.
@ezaube1030 yes please, because all low recordings from that tour isn't so good sounding...
...

this was supposed to be part of a trilogy. The record company put the kybosh on that. Cant say I'm disappointed

Great song...the lighting at the show is terrible...

leonakita Reality is very good. Heathen is priceless. Hours has some good stuff on it.
