Catches the spirit in a way most remixes/remasters don’t. Those other creators are trying to put some extra coolness or roughness that never works out while you’ve userd the original intention and thus keep the feeling everybody wants to feel. Very pleasant to listen to, best version on YT this far, together with the original.

To be honest, this doesn't sound like a remix. This sound more like a remaster, don't you think? If Super Metroid was to be remastered, which I believe it isn't, don't you think you'd hear this exact tune in Brinstar Green?

This gave me the idea of a new metroid game Metroid Primal There years prior to Metroid II, Samus is sent to a planet in the far reaches of the galaxy because it's space pirate controlled, and the pirates are making experiments on the wildlife. While in orbit, Samus's shop is shot down and her suit barely functional. Samus must now survive in the fierce jungle planet with little weapons and survival equipment
I love how you kept the beat strong: the drums in the original were so in sync with the atmospheric chords that it really made it feel like an otherworldy jungle. Although this one forgoes the funk-bass, this is not a bad thing; You went for a more atmospheric composition and it really pays off!
Such a great remix. As has been mentioned before, I could see this as fitting in a modern recreation of Super Metroid with 2.5D graphics. You nailed the atmosphere perfectly. Now... if only there was a way I could support you and your awesome work... Bandcamp? iTunes? Google Play? :)
Spore spawn was the single least memorable boss. Or mini boss I guess, actually it's only second to that snake thing. It was so easy... Crocomire is my ideal miniboss.

Hello, I drew that picture. Power suit is green + red (as in the drawing) and Varia suit is orange/yellow + red. I am aware of that. I know that the round and big shoulder plates are from the Varia suit while the Power's are smaller and more triangle shaped. But I am aware of that difference NOW. When I drew this picture in 2006, I grabbed all the Super Metroid official artwork I could find, and there's no drawing of Samus WITHOUT the bulky and round shoulder plates, so my only specific Power suit reference was the sprite, which is tiny. I didn't bother and I pretty much adapted the Varia suit but made it green. Sorry about that :P

This is a great remix. Its really faithful to the og, I cant describe how perfect this sounds! It almost reminds me of roland series of keyboards
