Inferno and Ion are kind of terrible in 3.23 so far. Inferno runs completely out of ammo (even with picking up ammo packs; 3800 rounds on Live vs 1800 on 3.23 EPTU + the fact that it's way harder to land shots on NPC AI) before wave 5 of Master Modes Pirate Swarm, and the Ion takes over an hour to clear all 10 waves.
On Live, both of these ships are the kings of Pirate Swarm, now they can barely complete it.
CIG has yet to balance them for all the new changes, so we can only hope they will fix this before a 3.23 Live.

​@@castlewhale4746 Technically this just needs to be adressed befor 1.0. So CIG still has some time to balance things around :)
On the other side, these shipes weren't made to battle fighters. They are advertised as capital ship killers.
But thanks for the warning. I will keep my Ion in the parking bay for 3.23 i guess :P

everyone's got a role m8, and it's big org v org. if you can just get everyone focused 1 target at a time this is way more effective than a straight up dog fight.
