So exited just ordered one in Mahogany for my job. I travel weekly on planes and my old nylon backpack is falling apart so I’m due for an upgrade and this sounds like it will be a MAJOR upgrade. Have had their carry on plus since they first started as a company and it’s still going strong so I know their quality is top notch!
I was looking forward to this backpack but I just noticed the front pouch isn't topstitched. I wish I could get past that. Thanks for the great review!
I really love the dark color vegan leather. Super cute. I don’t use purses either so I see the use! Not in my budget rn but seems like nice quality ☺️ maybe I’ll purchase in the future!
Yeah I don't know what it is with purses but they're just not for me 🤷♀️
Wonderful review and the colour matches the beautiful colour of your hair! Btw, Otis is so cute and reminds me of my pug who always wants to be involved! Also, what do you think of their redesign? The new backpacks don’t open up all the way anymore so not sure which one I want now…the original design is hard to find as it is but their new models are available on their website right now.

Hi Kate! This review was super helpful, but I'm wondering.. do you have a preference between the backpack and the duffel? I'll be using the bag as a personal item for flying with my laptop, ipad, water bottle, etc. As well as bringing it to and from work. I'm so conflicted on which bag to choose! Any insight would be appreciated :)

I would be concerned that the little modular system would accidentally come off while travelling or even be taken easily.
that's fair! the closest I've ever come to it falling off is one of the four clasps came undone but luckily never the whole thing.
I am actually on the fence in getting one; but after watching your review, I am now more inclined to buy one. I like the same saddle tan vegan leather version, too. I read the measurements; but would like to know, though, since I have a 15-inch laptop, do you think it will fit?
Great video. Do you find that the zippers scratch your arm or catch on sleeves (ie. sweaters) when reaching in and out?
Hi Kate! Thanks for the great review! I am wondering whether it scratches or stains easily especially when going through airport security or being stored under the seat on the plane? Is it easily cleaned? I wonder if the nylon version would be more forgiving when it comes to stains or scratches.
Surprisingly no! I've taken this everywhere and it's been through all conditions, as soft as it is, there isn't a single scratch or crack or anything 😲

Hi Nini, I just tried it with my older 16" laptop and it fits! It's just a bit snug. Hope that helps :)

Is the pouch safe enough for travelling?? The only thing stopping me from buying this backpack is my fear of people stealing the pouch while I’m exploring ☹️

What size is your laptop? Would a 13inch or 16inch laptop fit in the bag?
A 16 inch laptop should fit since my 13 inch still has a lot of room in the laptop sleeve
Do you think it's possible to carry a 16 inch or 17 inch laptop on the laptop compartment?
I think you'd be able to fit it in okay on an angle

This backpack has changed since this review. I don't see a key chain or that it opens up all the way. I don't know why they changed these features because I would have liked it better if they did have those 2 features.

100%! I wish I had this backpack in university because I was on campus for so long each day. In the later half of the video where I pack a bunch of things into the backpack is what I would typically take to school. Hope that helps 🤗

I actually like that more than the Matt&Natt backpack, like the Matt&Natt backpacks are nice but, the MONOS one just looks like more spacious? Probably still not the ideal choice for uni though 🥲😂
