This was the best video of these Monos products yet! It was the under the seat in the plane demo that did it for me! THANKS so much. I got this backpack in Mahogany vegan leather and was concerned it wouldn't fit under my seat. ALSO, it was great to see it on you for reference. I am teensy 5'3" and was scared this wouldn't be able to be worn by me as a pack.
The new design doesn’t open up all the way like yours…not sure if I should buy the older model as I’ve found a few on marketplace or the newer one now. I just purchased an original design duffel but what sucks is if I buy a new model backpack, I won’t be able to interchange the pouch as they’ve changed the modular design, where there are no more magnets on the bag and the magnet is on the pouch now. Awesome review!
I really love the new model and am happy it doesn’t open all the way. Makes it so things at the bottom won’t fall out by mistake and it also stands a bit better on its own I find. The pockets on the inside are also a bit different which I find to be an improvement. I really love how it snaps on the front now as it leaves a much cleaner look because you don’t have all the snaps. I recommend!!
@@erinfeicht568I am so thankful you shared your thoughts. How secure do you feel the front pouch is? I’m worried someone yanking it if I use it as my daughter’s insulin and pump case. Thinking it would be so nice for her to have it in the removable pouch if she needs to just grab her “pancreas” for excursions while traveling.
@@happyfamily1298 it is super secure! You would have to pull the tab (which is kind of hidden under the pouch) and pull it up out of the strap part which I find to be so snug I have to wiggle the pouch quite a bit before it comes completely out. I wouldn’t worry about someone snatching the pouch part off. :) With that being said, I find it really convenient to pull it off myself. When I’m on a plane I usually put the backpack part in the overhead bin and just keep the pouch part down with me in my seat.

Hello, can anyone tell me if this bag is too large for a petite woman? I am 5'2" with a small frame. I noticed most pictures are taken with men. Only found 2 pictures from the company with a woman wearing but they are angled oddly. Im thinking this bag is pretty large and that's why men are wearing it mostly. Any input or pictures of a woman wearing would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you
I’ll answer for you 🙃. At 5’2 you should be fine. It may be slightly bigger but nothing that would cause any issues that I can think of. A great choice in my opinion. Hopefully this has helped!
I love Monos and have the duffle and the carry on. I have been debating about this one as well. I was curious how much room was in it and your video really shows that! I might get that for me and my partner can use the duffle. Do you have the duffle and have a comparison?
So my luggage and backpack cane. I had no idea how huge it was. (Great thing) I’m in love with the ivory color I ordered. I love how spacious it is as well. Your review was spot on. The quality is everything!
About two weeks. You can pay $40 for shipping and get it in about a week but this bag is to big to be a personal bag on a airline. It makes zero sense for monos to make a travel bag that is to big for airlines specs. Doesn’t meet southwest, united or American standards
Over 10 inches wide and that’s to big for airline standards as a personal. Pure laziness that a luggage company would ignore the size standards. Red flag for sure
He literally videos the bag being placed under the seat see 7:52 mark. What airline and where has this standard? Also, the red flag is a bit overkill no? This is a sustainable and eco friendly company that creates well made product with a lifetime warranty and a very flexible returns and exchanges policy. Bottom line, the bag fits under the seat and the only time the rule you state of width above would apply seems like if it couldn't fit under the seat OR a flight attendant just wanted to give you grief about the sizing.
