Jesus Before the Council
53 And they led Jesus to the high priest. And all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes came together.
54 And Peter had followed Him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest. And he was sitting with the guards and warming himself at the fire.
55 Now the chief priests and the whole council were seeking testimony against Jesus to put Him to death, but they found none.
56 For many bore false witness against Him, but their testimony did not agree.
57 And some stood up and bore false witness against Him, saying,
58 “We heard Him say, "I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another, not made with hands.’”
59 Yet even about this their testimony did not agree.
60 And the high priest stood up in the midst and asked Jesus, “Have you no answer to make? What is it that these men testify against you?”
61 But He remained silent and made no answer. Again the high priest asked Him, “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?”
62 And Jesus said, “I am, and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.”
63 And the high priest tore his garments and said, “What further witnesses do we need?
64 You have heard His blasphemy. What is your decision?” And they all condemned Him as deserving death.
65 And some began to spit on Him and to cover His face and to strike Him, saying to Him, “Prophesy!” And the guards received Him with blows.
@Andrew Meik The Christian's bibles are just very badly mistranslated and corrupted versions of the Torah/Tanach, The Real Word of G_d, with a whole lot changed including names, a whole lot added, and a whole lot taken out. Everything that G_d said not to do, Christianity did! The One True Creator G_d specifically said in no uncertain terms that there is Only One G_d, and besides G_d there is NO OTHER SAVIOR!

Rabbi Tovia singer, Please help. Some girl emotionally attacked me and left. Since then AI computer is behaving as her to communicate with me. I can walk away; but, it is so difficult to walk away. One thing she said was that she knows you.
Her name is heddassah garner. UA-cam algorithm, facebook algorithm and others mimic her. It is extremely devastating for a human-being. it is in a way very heartlessness to do that to a person. I believe I am the only person that survived such an attack.

@@terryulmer969 Your accusations are wrong. Seeing that I know both English and Greek and have spent many years studying the NT in many translations and in Greek, I can say that there are many good translations out there. They are every bit as good as any translation of the OT.
Christians believe there is only one God.
And you are right that there is no Savior other than God. Christians believe that. As Paul wrote, "We have put our hope in the living God." Of course, not everyone who claims to be a Christian is a Christian according to the definition in the Scriptures.
This is why I left the church and converted to Judaism. Never again will I be deceived by such out and out lies!!

I am of Jewish descent(mother) I was predominantly raised Christian because of my father. I did all the right things that a young Christian should do went to Bible camp , activate in the youth group, Then through my middle life I kind of just lived. As I'm older , Loosely use the word more educated, I have developed /expressed so many questions about Christianity, practices ,rules, hell. And this has'nt gone well, My father barely talks to me, especially on religion or faith,, Other pastors or helpful people basically just tell me I'm going to hell because I'm not supposed to question These things.
However, sitting in a church singing a hymn about a cross, Leaves me feeling like I'm breaking the 1st 2 commandments and actively practicing in idolatry.
Rabbi Singer has given me more answers than nearly 2 decades of searching..
I get it, Now comes all the guilt from betraying Jesus all over again and no hope for salvation. I could say that it leads to a nearly paralyzing fear of making a mistake.
If your mother is Jewish, you need to return to traditional Judaism.

@Xi Li It is not necessary to justify Jesus' and Paul's history changing existences by seeking confirmation in the Old Testament. The literal misconceptions that surfaced because of his existence can easily be interpreted as being symbolic. How can we know the truth from ancient passages of underdeveloped civilizations? Read the highly advanced Seth revelations that sheds light on these matters.

In this specific case, the Truth is that the Church appropriated the Hebrew Bible and subverted it in an act of deception. You can literally make a list of all the verses they ripped out of context, faked, manipulated, etc. You can also investigate how Christianity embodies Pagan rituals and symbology. You can also do a simple Compare and Contrast analysis on the NT and OT and see how Christianity contradicts the OT. The truth is very clear for you to see, understand and know. You just have to WANT it.

I was a christian for 20 years. Something in my life just wasn't right. I prayed to God for him to lead me on the right path. To my shock I was led to a Jewish Rabbi on youtube. It changed my life. Never did I expect to be converted by a Jew! I am so thankful for that.

@Sonia: You're choosing to ignore the MOST important facts: You need to realize, research for yourself, and accept, that NO FURTHER SCRIPTURES were given to mankind by God after Mt. Sinai, therefore the "NT" you quote from, absolutely DID NOT come from God, and it blasphemously preaches AGAINST what God said to us at Mt. Sinai.
Also, NOWHERE did God EVER mention the "Jesus" character to us, and NOWHERE did He mention a "second coming" - that's a foreign, pagan concept! Also, the "Jesus" character never fulfilled even ONE prophecy, and he didn't meet even ONE of the requirements to be the Jewish Messiah! On top of that, the "Jesus" character never said ONE word that's attributed to him in the false, pagan, man-made "NT", since he was already DEAD for at least 20 YEARS (some say a LOT longer!) by the time it was written.
Btw, I totally understand "Christianity", since I used to be a born-again, baptized, Evangelical Baptist Christian, and then a 'Messianic' Christian for a total of 40+ YEARS, so there's nothing that Christianity can gaslight me with - I KNOW all the dirty tricks played by that religion to gain converts! When I learned, 20+ YEARS ago, how blasphemous and deceptive Christianity really is, I had no choice but to leave that false, pagan, man-made religion, and I've been learning from the Rabbis ever since, as commanded by God in Deut. 17:8-11. In the absence of the Temple, the Rabbis are our spiritual teachers, since they (and ONLY they!) have been studying the original, ETERNAL (i.e. STILL in effect and binding TODAY - a LIVING document!) Hebrew scriptures, all the way back to Mt. Sinai. "Christianity" REFUSED to learn the original Hebrew, leaving them in profound darkness as to what God ACTUALLY said to us, which resulted in the false, pagan, man-made, blasphemous, replacement theology religion of "Christianity", that preaches AGAINST what God said to us there.
PLEASE buy a Hebrew Bible (says "Stone Edition TANACH" on the cover) so you can see what God ACTUALLY said to us at Mt. Sinai. .

Romans 10:9 The Most Abused Verse In The Bible.
I want to challenge and remind you, reading this chapter, you have to handle the word of God properly! The Bible is a message from God not from us, and when we open the Bible to teach and preach we are dealing with God’s thoughts.
Our job is to properly understand the text and then preach and teach what we understand.
We can mess up every other book, but when it comes to the Bible we must get it right!
People misunderstand the Bible for the same reason they misquote Shakespeare. They spend their time repeating what they heard somebody else say, but they have never really read the book or got proper understanding for themselves. I guess in most cases it’s ok to mess up Shakespeare because there is no eternal consequences.
However, when you mishandle the Bible, you put yourself and the saints in a bad situation.
The greatest danger in the world and in the church is the false prophet and the praise hustler. You know the ones who try to make the Bible sound like they want it to sound and say what they want it to say? While they are performing all of the pulpit gymnastics, nobody is getting any word. These praise hustlers run right past the Old Testament. They take off in the four gospels, jump completely over the book of Acts and land in Romans Chapter 10 verse 9.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
They take Romans 10:9, and tell you to believe on the Lord Jesus and you’ll be saved. I’ve got news for you, you’re not going to be saved until you get saved. If you forget everything you have read so far, don’t miss this. The book of Acts is the only book in the Bible that tells you how to actually be born again and receive Jesus.
Accepting Christ as your personal savior is not in the Bible.
You can accept something and get nothing, but anything you receive, you have it. The Bible doesn’t teach to accept Christ, it teaches to receive him.

Romans 10:9 is not the plan of salvation, and the only way it could even sound related to the plan is when you take the whole passage out of context. False prophets have made a lot of people think that just because they confess (or admit) that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead, they will somehow be “saved” and make the rapture. If you start reading at the beginning of the book, you see that the apostle Paul is deeply concerned with the Jews and whether “they” will be saved.
Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

In verse two Paul explains that they have a zeal, but something is missing. Their knowledge is incomplete because they are still trying to get to God through Moses and the law. Just like in the book of Galatians, Paul is trying to get the Jews to understand that they can’t be saved following the law and that because of Jesus they are not under the old covenant anymore. They follow their religious duties, traditions and sacrifices very well, but these things will not cover their sins. Paul wants them to know that they need the blood of Jesus!
2. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
All Paul is doing is defending the gospel and the reason that we preach it. He is also explaining why Israel has failed to come to Jesus.
3. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
4. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth.

When you dislocate the scriptures, they don’t work! Romans 10:9 only says what most people think it says when you take it out of context. Remember when the disciples thought their boat was about to sink? They called out and said, “Master, save us!” And in Matthew chapter 14 when Peter was sinking, remember what he said to Jesus?
But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
Peter and the apostles were not asking to be saved from sin; they needed deliverance from another, more immediate issue. They were asking to be saved from drowning. When you see the word “saved” in the Bible, it’s not always talking about being saved by the blood. Look at Romans 5:9-10:
9. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Romans 5:9-10 KJV
Notice that Paul says that salvation from wrath can be obtained by people who are already saved. The Amplified Bible makes it a little plainer:
Romans 5:9-10 (Amplified Bible)
9. Therefore, since we are now justified (acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God) by Christ blood, how much more (certain is it that) we shall be saved by Him from the indignation and wrath of God.
10. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, it is much more (certain), now that we are reconciled, that we shall be saved (daily delivered from sin’s dominion) through His (resurrection) life.
Just like in the above examples, Paul uses Romans, chapter 10 to say that Israel needs to be saved. They are very religious and devoted to the Law of Moses and to there rituals, but they are omitting the main thing when it comes to salvation, and the main thing is Jesus! Because of there misguided zeal, Paul is saying that they need to be delivered (saved) from their traditions and brought into the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Paul was saying if the Jews want to be saved from sin, they must first get saved from their old ways of thinking and their traditions.
The book of Romans was written to a group that was already saved, but written about a group that needed to get saved. The Jews needed to first get saved from their traditions, so they could then get saved from their sin.
Romans 10:9 is simply saying that if the Jews would confess Jesus with their mouths and believe in their hearts that God raised him from the dead, then they could go on to accept the death of Jesus (as substitutionary), the blood of Jesus and the plan of salvation that was preached by Peter and the rest of the apostles.
Confession and believing would put them on the road to being safe so that they could accept the gospel and be saved.
Notice, even the much criticized Wycliffe New Testament translation properly renders the word “saved” as the Greek word “sozo”
(sode’-zo) which means to be safe, do well or be well.
That if thou acknowledge in thy mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and believest in thine heart, that God raised him from the death
(that God raised him from the dead), thou shalt be safe. Romans 10:9 (Wycliffe New Testament)
Romans 10:9 was not and is not offering anybody salvation from sin. You can’t be saved until you first get saved; you get saved by obeying the book of Acts. You can go to Romans and talk about being saved. You can go to Corinthians and talk about living saved. You can go to Galatians and talk about thinking saved, but you aren’t going to be saved until you obey the book of Acts
Beloved, don’t let false prophets and jelly backed preachers tell you about being saved without telling you how to get saved. I don’t care what doctor so-and-so says and it don’t matter what Bishop Pretender says, the Word of God is the final court of appeals. If you can’t validate it by the Bible, you just have to let it go.

Surely no one who affirms the divine inspiration of the Hebrew Bible would attack Mordecai and Esther. Yet here they are in what seems to be a direct violation of Deuteronomy 4:12 which states
“Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you."
How could such righteous people violate the Torah and inspire the entirety of the Jewish people to do the same? Well... They didn't. The answer is found in the fact that Mordecai was not only a Persian governor on the secular side of things,but also a member of the esteemed Sanhedrin and subsequently a leader of the Jewish people who acted fully in accordance with Torah law.

How much does an ephah weigh? We are told to use it as a measure for weight in the Torah but nowhere is a detailed description of an ephah provided for us within the written text.
What are the mandated fasts of Zechariah 8:19? Why would the Prophet Zechariah expect us to know them when these specific dates are not mentioned anywhere in the five books of Moses?
Why was Ruth accepted into the congregation of Israel when the Torah forbids Moabites and Ammonites to assimilate into Israel fully until their tenth generation?
In Jude 1:7-9 why does Jude mention two extra biblical stories such as the quarrel of Michael and Satan and then the book of enoch which is not in the traditional christian canon?
Why does Paul mention two men named Jannes and Jambres who opposed Moses in 2 Timothy 3:8? Such a story is also found nowhere in the Biblical narrative.
In conclusion we have not only substantiated the existence of rabbinical authority and the oral law in the confines of the written torah,but we have also shown how the christian scriptures are inherently dependent upon Torah Sh'bal Peh.

This whole question becomes a play on words. It is important to define most of them because people have come to the wrong conclusions.
My work background is engineering and this is made up of many disciplines. Each one has its own variation in language to explain construction, methods and processes. This is an example of what is the main problem.
Living a life with no debt and low expenses gives long periods of quiet reflection and in one such period a supernatural experience of being drawn by God occurred. There was no search or quest because such an experience cannot be contemplated or known to exist in the usual mind that is thought from. God revealed Himself to me. Care must be taken to understand where a belief has come from, therefore there was much research of spirituality, religions and even technology. A whole world of alternatives was opened up that there had been no awareness of. A lot was shown to me but the common language used and the meaning of the words had to be learned. There were variations therefore the source definitions had to be found. The King James Bible was read and although difficult to understand many phrases and scriptures explained what had been supernaturally experienced.
Knowing God as He requests is a supernatural experience and the scriptures are a conformation of a true one.
For three years revelation would come into my mind as a full answer to unasked questions, I knew the question by the answer. I am taught by God my non biological Father. The hereditary line from Adam has been severed.
Eventually I had to do some serious work because a house had to be built. My second son was on the way and we were living in a small dwelling that was not large enough. The daily revelation ceased and for 11 years I was on my own.
During a fast that lasted three weeks the Spirit lead my mind deeper and deeper into a transformation and renewal and the covering of the Divine Nature. Atonement is "at one with" and in the completion of access to the Holy Place my body was filled to overflowing with the Fullness of God in the Spirit.
When words were spoken they flowed from a Perfect and Holy vessel. The Divine Nature is more gentle than can ever be contemplated and this must be found to have access to God who is truly our Father.

While I agree that Jesus and Paul were frauds, I think Rabbi Singer oversimplifies that appeal of Christianity. It's over 2 billion people, religions are complicated social constructs that motivate people in ways as diverse as people themselves. I agree with other Rabbis that if Christianity and Islam are the vehicle by which people know the God of Israel however misconstrued, so be it.
Now that you have shown the weaknesses in the half truths of Christianity lets move in to the issues with Judaism and the Old Testament.
