Issue is humble weaponry won’t do any good in war ! You need top of the line weapons.. AMCA is you F22 but we don’t have a starship equivalent in ISRO
@@AlphaDefenseHindi What I meant was that I don't see GoI sanctioning budget of billions to a program dedicated to building a strategic bomber, but just like HAL sometimes use their own budget even if it may not be enough, shoudn't we have a project towards a strategic bomber with a small start, I mean it's better than nothing
Instead of bomber India needs to build a drone fleet. Drones are more useful than any other asset.
@@realnapster1522 Given how they massacred ma boy(TAPAS), the technology we obtained from that program will help us in Archer, also there's a lot of Private sector companies that are present when it comes to Drone Development and Indian Army and Air Force is also very active and creating Counter Drone solutions, I don't think we will be as concerned about drones in the next 10 years, but Bombers are something that not only no one talks about but also say that they are Obsolete(Podcasters), So I would be Interested to see a news or analysis on that over Drones any Time of ma Life

Old news already in many articles online or offshore for defence enthusiasts bhai g but its a good news thanks for sharing your views. As public private partnership is failed on the stake of country it was a learning lesson for govt. Private agencies always works for profit we need restructuring only to fast track buildup or execution both in research/development and client side. For political or non technical people this can be seemed as achievement of one party or another. Please understand defence field is a different entity you cant handle defence with politics bcoz politics need shelter or bunker at the time of war not defence people our brave hearts.
we need ample budget allocated for R&D and there has to be accountability at every step

Aps can provide protection from atgm and rpg but direct shell is too difficult for aps
Concentrating more on indirect fire is more needed

I see this as an extremely sad ordeal. Indian armed forces operated almost all tanks of Russian origin with smooth bore barrels which are optimised for SABOT rounds. Rifling will always rob some energy from these rounds but the Indian army wanted a rifled gun which cannot utilise the existing stock of ammunition. The suboptimal SABOT ammunition required to be developed under a HOLE new project adding to the fun. Seems to me these projects were designed for failure if not on technology ground then for their sheer impracticality.

पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्टः- कुछ समय पहले एक खबर आई थी कि एक Vendor ने Made in Germany बैरल की जगह Made in China बैरल सप्लाई कर दी थी। आज तक किसी को पता नहीं चला कि इस Vendor को कोई दंड दिया गया। जो लोग Regularly डिफेंस न्यूज सुनते हैं, उनको पता है कि भारत के बाहर से कोई भी डिफेंस से संबंधित चीज खरीदी जाती है तो उसमें दोनों देशों की सरकारें Involve होती हैं। इस नियम के हिसाब से तो वो Vendor खुद से चीन से बैरल खरीद ही नहीं सकता था। इसका मतलब ये हुआ कि मोदी सरकार ने ही चीन से बैरल खरीदने की डील की थी न कि उस Vendor ने, सिर्फ सप्लाई का माध्यम वो Vendor जरूर था।
हकीकत ये है कि ये खबर गलती से बाहर आ गई क्योंकि इस घोटाले को जिसने उजागर किया, उसको पता नहीं था कि इस घोटाले में खुद मोदी सरकार शामिल है। राफेल घोटाला भी कुछ इसी तरह से उजागर हुआ था। तत्कालीन रक्षा राज्य मंत्री सुभाष भामरे को मोदी के द्वारा किए गए राफेल घोटाले के बारे में जानकरी नहीं थी इसलिए उसने सदन में राफेल की कीमत रुपए 670 Cr./प्लेन बता दी थी। लेकिन बाद में पता चला कि राफेल रुपए 1600+ Cr./प्लेन के हिसाब से खरीदा गया है।
