I'm not a furry, but I agree. It would definitely be the next Lucario. Even if it wasn't that great, I'd still use it for the memes and nickname it Fortnite.
Luffy is basically a regional variant of Breloom. Think about it: Luffy's powers come from the devil fruit (Grass) and he's a melee fighter (Fighting). His body is stretchy (Breloom's arms can do similar) and his Straw Hat is similar in appearance to Breloom's head. All that's really missing is the weakness to water, which could be a result of an ability.
Those were so cool, Edward being a small steel gremlin is such a good idea because he height is always the main focus when it comes to his appearance and gets very angry about it....I love it!
Now with Alchemini I thought of a wonderful idea...it evolves into the Pokemon equivalent of his brother aka a giant set of armor and loses the fairy type, only to gain ghost as it's secondary typing
I could definitely see Pokemon making one of their cartoon shorts, basically a small episode of legally distinct Fullmetal Alchemist with Alchemini and his 'little' brother, a Golurk.
I think a Pokémon based on Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya from Love is War would be cool. It changes looks based on the genre and the male is more defensive while the female more offensive, kinda like Meowstic
I honestly think the final touch to perfect Telephant's design is no mouth. Just having focus on the eyes and trunk could maximise its cuteness. And how perfect would it have been if you'd made a Pokémon of Ichigo? Bleach TYBW is right around the corner.

Totally agree! We have pokemon like Whismur who are often 'hard to hear' due to their usual voice and often timid personality or the Hatenna line who prefer silence. It would be cool to have a mon (albeit non-canon) who has trouble communicating but tries to because they want to make friends. Komi loves cats and is sometimes depicted with cat ears sticking out. They are also the perfect animal to use as they can be hard to understand but also very loving
Absolutely loved this!!! There are so many options that would make great Pokémon, I really hope this becomes a full series!! My first thought was that, since this first episode dealt heavily with Shonen series, we could also include some Shojo! First obvious option is Sailor Moon, has a very recognisable design & would be a perfect fairy type! Of course it would be based on the moon rabbit & could maybe borrow some inspiration from Luna's design? Another idea I'm the most hoping for would be a Pokémon based on Madoka Magica, my favourite anime! I think a design based on Charlotte/Nagisa could be very adorable & interesting lore-wise! Fairy/Dark or Ghost would be a good combo for her! I really hope this happens someday... Oh, and of course Madoka herself could be great! Fairy/Psychic. Perhaps what would be based on their Soul Gems could be something like Starmies core? The source of their magic & life energy... (Could also throw in some of Kyubey's design elements into this Madoka Pokémon, since I feel like that would make it more interesting + Kyubey's a bit too simple on his own...) I also think a water-type based on Ponyo would be delightful :> There's some other ideas I have, but I want to save them for another time. We don't know if this'll become a series yet so I'll just leave it here lol. Regardless of what or how it happens, I can't wait to see more of your wonderful designs!! (The source anime of those ideas is also quite mature, so I'm not sure if it would be suitable for this channel...)
Love the design with Naruto (Orinja). The description is also spot-on 😁 You could have also went with a Frog type theme especially due to...recent events in Boruto.
I'd like to see some Pokemon based off of magical girls like Sailor Moon, Tokyo Mew Mew or Madoka Magica. Maybe just based on one of the girls. If not magical girls, maybe one based on Haruhi Suzumiya.
I missed this series. I love the "Turning x into Pokemon"! For more anime stuff, I can think of some easy shojo ones: Tokyo Mew Mew and Sailor Moon. All the main Mew Mew characters are part animal, and Sailor Moon is literally named Usagi which means rabbit. It could be a moon rabbit! Also, a Yu-Gi-Oh one would be hilarious. Just imagining that iconic hair. It'd probably be like a Dark/Ground type (cause the whole darkness thing and sandy Egyptian stuff). And PLEASE do Mob. I feel like a Mob Pokemon would pretty much just look like Espurr, but I'd still love to see a different take. Or you could do Reigen. That'd be funny.

Yusuke could be part ghost imo since he's brought back from the dead, is sort of a spirit detective, and uses spirit energy as projectiles. I guess he can have some dark type moves from being part mazoku too

Neat series, I've been watching some of your older videos and it's incredible how much more pokemon-y your newest designs are! It'd be cool to see some shojo protagonists, like Cardcaptor Sakura, Sailor Moon or Akko (Little Witch Academia). Though I guess you'll find it easier to draw from series you've watched yourself! You could also go meta and do some of the characters from different pokemon manga, like Yellow (adventures), Hazel (magical pokemon adventures) or someone from that wild japanese manga
Absolutely love Orinja and Alchemini! If you haven’t done them yet, maybe do Inuyasha and Sesshomaru (maybe Sesshomaru’s is an evolution for the inuyasha Pokémon but both species are known to fight each other). They would both be dogs, of course, possibly both steel types (since their usually fighting using swords and inuyasha’s other most well known attack being the iron reaver soul stealer and the Inu clan being from the West, which is associated with the element of metal) with the evo also gaining poison (Sesshomaru’s poison whip attack), flying (Sesshomaru is shown to be able to fly) or ice (no real reason other than making more sense for their silvery-white hair).
I love every one of these! You never fail to impress me Ron, I mean that. Some characters I'd really like to see you try to turn into a pokemon are: -Ichigo (Bleach) -Erza (Fairy Tail) -Asta (Black Clover) -Hiei (Yu Yu Hakusho) -Broly (Dragon Ball)
I’d love to see a Deku Fakemon to complement Phasmat (not sure I spelled that right). Maybe draw a rabbit Pokémon with Deku’s colors since that what his hood looks like. It could either be a pure Fighting or a Normal/Fighting Type.
A very interesting concept indeed, especially since I watched enough Demon Slayer to improve upon your idea, Bernardo. Since Tanjiro is a swordsman who uses water & fire-based attacks, he should be a Steel-Water type, with a Zen form that turns him into a Steel-Fire type. As for Nezuko, let’s just make her a Normal-Dark type, since she’s a demon who’s friendly towards other demon slayers. Call it a hunch.😉
I wonder if any JoJo character would get a 'mon- Parts 1-6 were all released in Shonen Jump, so maybe even a Dio that combines diving, bats, and time would be fun. Maybe if paired with a Jonathan 'mon, or facing against one, it has a signature move or ability that lets it access any of the four moves of said Jonathan 'mon, at the cost of lowered physical stats. I also like that Luffy is unofficially "Monkey the Luffymon".

I’m curious to see how you would make a Pokémon based on Jotaro without it being too similar to Pangoro, but I guess Giorno might be a more interesting JoJo rep. Also would love to see one based on Ichigo since Bleach is finally coming back.
Alternatively, Jolyne since she has obvious butterfly and spider motifs. If those are too obvious, either Josuke or Johnny since neither Josuke are like animals and Johnny’s power is shooting nails and that does not translate to animals or animal-like creatures.
@@iantaakalla8180 How intriguing, Ian. Personally, I would go for Jolyne being a Bug-Fighting type, with a signature move referencing her Stand, Stone Ocean. And as for Johnny, well, turning him into a centaur Pokémon wouldn’t hurt either, since he’s always riding on his favorite horse in and out of battle.
These are all amazing! I literally can't decide which one is my favorite :D I don't know if you're gonna make a part 2, but if you do I think it would be really cool to see an AoT based Pokémon. I've always wanted to see a Pokémon based on the titans, especially the Nine Titan Shifters, so much potential.
Man, you made the Luffy Pokemon look so good! Now you got me wanting to see Pokemon versions of the other nine Straw Hat Pirates and one of their more recent allies Yamato.
For Orinja, I could definitely see it having a hidden ability that is a Fighting type version of Steelworker, since as you said, Naruto is heroic and has a unique fighting style, two things that Fighting types represent. Prankster is an awesome ability flavorwise and totally fits. This was just an alternate idea. 👍
Great designs. I really like Telephant. You put a lot of details into the dex entries. I do think that you made these designs a little too close to the original anime characters. especially with the colors. Also, i think that straying away from drawing inspiration from just one animal/object can elevate your designs in the future. A lot of the cool official Pokemon include inspo from a few things/animals/etc. And doing that makes something that is more iconic and 'original'-feeling even though you're still being inspired by something.
Oh man, this is good! For other Pokemon possibilities, I have a few. -Goku, of course. Maybe as a way to not make it Infernape 2, it could be a form-change Pokemon based on DB's Goku rather than DBZ's Goku. A Day Goku that's based on the more comical and training-focused side of Goku, and a Night form that turns him into something akin to the Oozaru, sort of like a werewolf-style form change. -Izuku Midoriya from My Hero. Obviously, considering what his costume looks like, you'd have to go with bunny for this one. -If not Izuku, then maybe Bakugou. Haven't seen many people take non-protatonists, and I think that he could work well as a more aggressive Pokemon.
If there's ever a part 2, you should do some of the more popular-in-japan anime characters like Astro Boy or Doraemon. Would be a change from the basic popular mainstream-in-the-west anime characters
I’d love to see a Pokémon based on izuku midoriya or katsuki Bakugou from My Hero Academia. I just think that the quirks would translate well into Pokémon design inspirations, plus the internet already compare the two of them to animals already (Midoriya a rabbit and Bakugou a Pomeranian, a bomberanian if you will). I also think that several characters from Fairy Tail would work well as Pokémon, be it the dragon slayers being turned into actual dragons or turning Erza “Titania” Scarlet into a literal fairy queen that fights for her people.
I had an idea of turning Ash Ketchum into a Pokémon. It's a humanoid ninja frog whose head looks like Ash's hat and wraps its tongue around its neck like a scarf.
You should do Jotaro Kujo or any other jojo from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, they have really intersting designs and it would be really interesting to see them as pokemon
A Pokémon based on Sailor Moon please, her civil name, Usagi Tsukino, can be translated to Rabbit of the Moon, so a cute fairy type rabbit Pokémon with magical girl attributes would be the logic path

I think a Jotaro Pokemon will be cool, given Bancho theme already exists with Pangoro, So he can be his rival like Heracross is to Pinsir. Maybe like a Polar bear, given Polar Bears are considered as Marine mammals and Jotaro goes on to become a marine biologist. Also the agression both is comparable. I wonder how Star Platinum will get incorporated in this though... Maybe like a Water Fighting with spiritual abilities or Water Psychic. It's description can have something about carrying will of it's ancestors (A reference to Joestar bloodline). Maybe like fighting to keep hold of it's ancestral lands which ties in well with Polar Bears whose habitat is under threat due to climate change.
I think a Josuke Pokémon from Jojo would be amazing! He has more personality that could translate into a dex entry, and more design elements too like his pompadour, collar, pins, and a diamond theme.
I love Orinja so darn much like, seriously if it were an ctual pokemon I’d buy a plush of it and even the shiny form. If there was one thing I’d change though for it is to have the shiny have red or Orange eyes to match KCM Naruto, other than that I really REALLY love Orinja!
I think some interesting ones would be Shigeo Kageyama from Mob Psycho 100, Simon from Gurren Lagaan, and any of the Jojo's, or possibly just their stands since that might be easier to turn into a pokemon

I think a pokemon based off of Saki from Saki K would be cool, a legendary Pokemon that's a cat because of saki's tendency to want to be alone. This pokemon would be very powerful.
I love all of these! Haven’t seen a single one of these animes but these designs are fire! Though I do want to see a Itadori Pokémon from Jujitsu Kaisen, my idea is a happy go lucky red panda Pokémon that can get serious and have a feral form something like Morpeko’s forms maybe the only way it can evolve is through a pairing of a Sukana Pokémon

If there was a Pokèmon based on Sasuke Uchiha, then I would see it as a Fire/Dark Type Snake Pokèmon that is inspired by Aōda his Snake Summon, Wings/Armor of his Susanoo, and his eyes will be a reference to his sharingan as it will have red eyes and a shuriken like pupil. Like how Sasuke learns a bunch of fire type jutsus, same applies to the inspired Pokèmon, not to mention it will also learn moves such as Glare which paralyzes opponents, similar to how Sasuke can have opponents stunned when he glares at them. The Dark Type is also a reference to how the Uchihas represented hatred
Love these so much! Alchemini is perfect. I hope you do anyone from black clover like Asta, Yuno, Noelle or any of the elves. Also please do more Fullmetal Alchemist characters like Mustang,Riza Alphonse, or Armstrong. You can do villains and have the Homunculus in a Flask or any of the other seven homunculus, or even Kimblee.
Ok I have a few anime characters. I would love to see a Jojo inspired Pokémon. Like it would be difficult to do a Jojo but maybe a grass psychic type Joseph Joestar Pokémon that has thorns on it as a reference to hermit purple, or a dark type Pokémon to reference Dio (sorry I mean DIO). A One Punch Man Pokémon would be OP but interesting, like a fighting type who is constantly looking for a worthy opponent. Even though I don’t watch Dragon Ball, a Goku Pokémon based on a gorilla would be interesting. And a Pokémon based on Attack on Titan would be cool, it could start of as a small swift base form and then when it evolves it becomes a massive beast of a Pokémon

It would be cool to have a mon (albeit non-canon) who has trouble communicating but tries to because they want to make friends. Komi loves cats and is sometimes depicted with cat ears sticking out. They are also the perfect animal to use as they can be hard to understand but also very loving

My first thought was that, since this first episode dealt heavily with Shonen series, we could also include some Shojo!
First obvious option is Sailor Moon, has a very recognisable design & would be a perfect fairy type! Of course it would be based on the moon rabbit & could maybe borrow some inspiration from Luna's design?
Another idea I'm the most hoping for would be a Pokémon based on Madoka Magica, my favourite anime! I think a design based on Charlotte/Nagisa could be very adorable & interesting lore-wise!
Fairy/Dark or Ghost would be a good combo for her! I really hope this happens someday...
Oh, and of course Madoka herself could be great! Fairy/Psychic. Perhaps what would be based on their Soul Gems could be something like Starmies core? The source of their magic & life energy...
(Could also throw in some of Kyubey's design elements into this Madoka Pokémon, since I feel like that would make it more interesting + Kyubey's a bit too simple on his own...)

For more anime stuff, I can think of some easy shojo ones: Tokyo Mew Mew and Sailor Moon. All the main Mew Mew characters are part animal, and Sailor Moon is literally named Usagi which means rabbit. It could be a moon rabbit! Also, a Yu-Gi-Oh one would be hilarious. Just imagining that iconic hair. It'd probably be like a Dark/Ground type (cause the whole darkness thing and sandy Egyptian stuff). And PLEASE do Mob. I feel like a Mob Pokemon would pretty much just look like Espurr, but I'd still love to see a different take. Or you could do Reigen. That'd be funny.

It'd be cool to see some shojo protagonists, like Cardcaptor Sakura, Sailor Moon or Akko (Little Witch Academia). Though I guess you'll find it easier to draw from series you've watched yourself!
You could also go meta and do some of the characters from different pokemon manga, like Yellow (adventures), Hazel (magical pokemon adventures) or someone from that wild japanese manga

If you haven’t done them yet, maybe do Inuyasha and Sesshomaru (maybe Sesshomaru’s is an evolution for the inuyasha Pokémon but both species are known to fight each other). They would both be dogs, of course, possibly both steel types (since their usually fighting using swords and inuyasha’s other most well known attack being the iron reaver soul stealer and the Inu clan being from the West, which is associated with the element of metal) with the evo also gaining poison (Sesshomaru’s poison whip attack), flying (Sesshomaru is shown to be able to fly) or ice (no real reason other than making more sense for their silvery-white hair).
You should turn Pikachu into a pokemon that would be cool

I’d love to see a Deku Fakemon to complement Phasmat (not sure I spelled that right). Maybe draw a rabbit Pokémon with Deku’s colors since that what his hood looks like. It could either be a pure Fighting or a Normal/Fighting Type.

A very interesting concept indeed, especially since I watched enough Demon Slayer to improve upon your idea, Bernardo. Since Tanjiro is a swordsman who uses water & fire-based attacks, he should be a Steel-Water type, with a Zen form that turns him into a Steel-Fire type. As for Nezuko, let’s just make her a Normal-Dark type, since she’s a demon who’s friendly towards other demon slayers. Call it a hunch.😉
An evolution for telephant that includes Loid and Yor with the ability parental bond would be phenomenal. Here’s looking forward to a part two!
I wonder if any JoJo character would get a 'mon- Parts 1-6 were all released in Shonen Jump, so maybe even a Dio that combines diving, bats, and time would be fun. Maybe if paired with a Jonathan 'mon, or facing against one, it has a signature move or ability that lets it access any of the four moves of said Jonathan 'mon, at the cost of lowered physical stats.
I also like that Luffy is unofficially "Monkey the Luffymon".

Alternatively, Jolyne since she has obvious butterfly and spider motifs. If those are too obvious, either Josuke or Johnny since neither Josuke are like animals and Johnny’s power is shooting nails and that does not translate to animals or animal-like creatures.
@@iantaakalla8180 How intriguing, Ian. Personally, I would go for Jolyne being a Bug-Fighting type, with a signature move referencing her Stand, Stone Ocean. And as for Johnny, well, turning him into a centaur Pokémon wouldn’t hurt either, since he’s always riding on his favorite horse in and out of battle.

I don't know if you're gonna make a part 2, but if you do I think it would be really cool to see an AoT based Pokémon. I've always wanted to see a Pokémon based on the titans, especially the Nine Titan Shifters, so much potential.
Man, you made the Luffy Pokemon look so good! Now you got me wanting to see Pokemon versions of the other nine Straw Hat Pirates and one of their more recent allies Yamato.
For Orinja, I could definitely see it having a hidden ability that is a Fighting type version of Steelworker, since as you said, Naruto is heroic and has a unique fighting style, two things that Fighting types represent.
Prankster is an awesome ability flavorwise and totally fits. This was just an alternate idea. 👍
Great designs. I really like Telephant. You put a lot of details into the dex entries. I do think that you made these designs a little too close to the original anime characters. especially with the colors. Also, i think that straying away from drawing inspiration from just one animal/object can elevate your designs in the future. A lot of the cool official Pokemon include inspo from a few things/animals/etc. And doing that makes something that is more iconic and 'original'-feeling even though you're still being inspired by something.
Oh man, this is good! For other Pokemon possibilities, I have a few.
-Goku, of course. Maybe as a way to not make it Infernape 2, it could be a form-change Pokemon based on DB's Goku rather than DBZ's Goku. A Day Goku that's based on the more comical and training-focused side of Goku, and a Night form that turns him into something akin to the Oozaru, sort of like a werewolf-style form change.
-Izuku Midoriya from My Hero. Obviously, considering what his costume looks like, you'd have to go with bunny for this one.
-If not Izuku, then maybe Bakugou. Haven't seen many people take non-protatonists, and I think that he could work well as a more aggressive Pokemon.

If there's ever a part 2, you should do some of the more popular-in-japan anime characters like Astro Boy or Doraemon. Would be a change from the basic popular mainstream-in-the-west anime characters
I’d love to see a Pokémon based on izuku midoriya or katsuki Bakugou from My Hero Academia. I just think that the quirks would translate well into Pokémon design inspirations, plus the internet already compare the two of them to animals already (Midoriya a rabbit and Bakugou a Pomeranian, a bomberanian if you will). I also think that several characters from Fairy Tail would work well as Pokémon, be it the dragon slayers being turned into actual dragons or turning Erza “Titania” Scarlet into a literal fairy queen that fights for her people.
I had an idea of turning Ash Ketchum into a Pokémon. It's a humanoid ninja frog whose head looks like Ash's hat and wraps its tongue around its neck like a scarf.
You should do Jotaro Kujo or any other jojo from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, they have really intersting designs and it would be really interesting to see them as pokemon

For the Anya based Pokemon, we end a Liod based male evolved form and a Yor based female evolved form. You know, compete the family
I think a Jotaro Pokemon will be cool, given Bancho theme already exists with Pangoro, So he can be his rival like Heracross is to Pinsir. Maybe like a Polar bear, given Polar Bears are considered as Marine mammals and Jotaro goes on to become a marine biologist. Also the agression both is comparable. I wonder how Star Platinum will get incorporated in this though... Maybe like a Water Fighting with spiritual abilities or Water Psychic. It's description can have something about carrying will of it's ancestors (A reference to Joestar bloodline). Maybe like fighting to keep hold of it's ancestral lands which ties in well with Polar Bears whose habitat is under threat due to climate change.
I love how much thought these had put into them especially Orinja, you can tell he had a lot of fun with his background description
I think a Josuke Pokémon from Jojo would be amazing! He has more personality that could translate into a dex entry, and more design elements too like his pompadour, collar, pins, and a diamond theme.
I love Orinja so darn much like, seriously if it were an ctual pokemon I’d buy a plush of it and even the shiny form. If there was one thing I’d change though for it is to have the shiny have red or Orange eyes to match KCM Naruto, other than that I really REALLY love Orinja!
I think some interesting ones would be Shigeo Kageyama from Mob Psycho 100, Simon from Gurren Lagaan, and any of the Jojo's, or possibly just their stands since that might be easier to turn into a pokemon

A fighting dark Eren Yeager Pokemon ( a humanoid shape, because titans)
A normal fighting Deku pokemon ( a bunny, since his suit already looks like one, and the ears could be black whip)
A fire dark Bakugo pokemon ( a badger to contrast with deku's bunny)
A dark steel Thorfinn pokemon
A normal ghost Light Yagami pokemon
A fire water Tanjiro pokemon
A normal type Saitama pokemon

I think a pokemon based off of Saki from Saki K would be cool, a legendary Pokemon that's a cat because of saki's tendency to want to be alone. This pokemon would be very powerful.
I love all of these! Haven’t seen a single one of these animes but these designs are fire! Though I do want to see a Itadori Pokémon from Jujitsu Kaisen, my idea is a happy go lucky red panda Pokémon that can get serious and have a feral form something like Morpeko’s forms maybe the only way it can evolve is through a pairing of a Sukana Pokémon

Oh this is SO fun! I would like to put my vote in for Hinata from Haikyuu! Bouncy sunshine boy, very orange. Maybe an obvious idea but Todoroki from MHA, since..ice and fire type could be epic. Also Senku from Dr Stone....OHHH! Or Aizawa from MHA too! He could be like...a bug who evolves from his yellow sleeping bag cacoon into a ninja moth since he comes out at night and he could have string shot. I once drew combined anime characters with Pokemon and I made him Swadloon 🤣🤣. DOUBLE OOHHH..anyone from, Fruits Basket. Most of them even already have animal motifs to help. Hatsuharu or Ayame would be my choices. Though Tohru would also be lovely. I love her.

If there was a Pokèmon based on Sasuke Uchiha, then I would see it as a Fire/Dark Type Snake Pokèmon that is inspired by Aōda his Snake Summon, Wings/Armor of his Susanoo, and his eyes will be a reference to his sharingan as it will have red eyes and a shuriken like pupil. Like how Sasuke learns a bunch of fire type jutsus, same applies to the inspired Pokèmon, not to mention it will also learn moves such as Glare which paralyzes opponents, similar to how Sasuke can have opponents stunned when he glares at them. The Dark Type is also a reference to how the Uchihas represented hatred
I wanna see a Pokémon based on Tony Tony Chopper. Maybe a Pikaclone that can change form when holding specific items?

Love these so much! Alchemini is perfect. I hope you do anyone from black clover like Asta, Yuno, Noelle or any of the elves. Also please do more Fullmetal Alchemist characters like Mustang,Riza Alphonse, or Armstrong. You can do villains and have the Homunculus in a Flask or any of the other seven homunculus, or even Kimblee.
Ok I have a few anime characters. I would love to see a Jojo inspired Pokémon. Like it would be difficult to do a Jojo but maybe a grass psychic type Joseph Joestar Pokémon that has thorns on it as a reference to hermit purple, or a dark type Pokémon to reference Dio (sorry I mean DIO). A One Punch Man Pokémon would be OP but interesting, like a fighting type who is constantly looking for a worthy opponent. Even though I don’t watch Dragon Ball, a Goku Pokémon based on a gorilla would be interesting. And a Pokémon based on Attack on Titan would be cool, it could start of as a small swift base form and then when it evolves it becomes a massive beast of a Pokémon
Signature ability for Orinja: Fire Gale. Orinja used its mastery of wind to strengthen fire type attacks by 1.2. All flying type moves have a 10% (maybe 20%) chance to burn.
