Through much of this video, it's a white font on a white background - brilliant!!!
You have an inaccuracy in translation when he gives the price of the escamoles, it’s not 10,000 pesos it’s 1,000-1,200 pesos
It doesn’t matter, todos sabemos que Tlaxcala no existe
Finally seeing Sri Lanka XD I'm soooo excited XD
Whoever thought of eating snail eggs first really captured some niche..
It's amazing to see how different creatures' eggs are eaten around the world and how people lavish on them on certain ocassions or on a day-to-day life, appreciating the taste and richness of the nutrients they provide. Here in Nagaland, North-East India too, ant egg dishes are savoured with love and appreciation for its richness. We also eat bee larvae cooked almost the same way as ant eggs besides honey. I'd love to try the different eggs introduced in this video, sometime in the future. Great work, team Great Big Story! 💕

Philipine balut vendors: hold my halo-halo

The ostrich egg one I’ve been to that farm many times it’s a really nice place and ostrich eggs are really cool
We have Bibingkang Abnoy in the Philippines which is a very tasty omelette made of an egg that dies along the way during incubation. Served with a vinegar mix. Very tasty and savory.
Me: *thinking balut (fertilised duck egg) is weird*

We also eat fish eggs in Japan. Tarako, Tainoko, Kazunoko and Mentaiko.
@@atsukorichards1675 My late boyfriend Naoto was japanese, he showed me a lot of recipe before going and leaving me. It was his birthday no long ago so I made some recipe ☺️
@@carnation1204 I am sorry to hear that. Does any of his recipes happen to be the Mentaiko Spaghetti?
@@atsukorichards1675 No nao loved sweets, Omurice, tamagoyaki, ebi fry, etc. I didn't know you could do spaghetti with it Nao did only maki with it most of the time. So on march 3 I did some tamagoyaki and cake. But thks you I will try next time ☺️
@@carnation1204 I love all dishes you mentioned as his favorites. And on March the 3rd, Hinamatsuri cake is perfect. As for the Spaghetti dish, there must be some recipes on Cookpad. Oh, there is another popular one, Taramo Salad, which is mushed potato with Tarako mixed in.
Omg i dont expect indonesia is in this video, i like my country.

The octopus and jack fish eggs are in fact ovaries of the respective animals
jack fish "egg" is actually roe "sperm" lol
@@lealemee2825 well its not sperm, sperm is only available in males. Roe is typically the eggs and the ovaries of a fish.
ZOCCOK it is very delicious
lea lemee
lea lemee nope, it’s the egg sack from female fish. It’s like caviar. But these eggs are much smaller.
I’m from Sri Lanka and we eat this. Kind of hard to find and bit expensive.
From Sri Lanka...the dish is delicious and melts in your mouth but yes hard to find in a typical restaurant 😁
