I'm a beginner, and I just made my first steering wheel cover using your video. I'm so proud of myself! It turned out fantastic, and it was so easy! Thank you!!!!!
Thank you so much for this. I have been looking for a steering wheel cover for a while but didn't like any of the ones that I found. Now I can make exactly what I want. ✂📍💟
great video, very informative! interested in making this into a business but don't know a thing about sewing , I'm big on the design, thank you so much this was great!
This is a very simple project if you're just learning to sew. Find yourself some cheap fabric, like at a thrift store or old blankets you don't mind cutting up and experiment until you feel confident. For my first one, I'd use just plain old cotton fabric like the kind used to make sheets. It's a pretty easy fabric to work with, more so than the furry fleece fabric.
Christmas just got over and I made beaded jewelry this year for family and friends because that is what I do I make things. I believe that Christmas is way too commercialized and so I keep it real and simple. Someone gave me a steering wheel cover that was sewed and I love it so much, so when I found your video I was so happy because now I can make some. I really love it because it keeps my hands from freezing and I am sure it will be the same way when it is hot, plus I can just throw it in the washer when it is dirty. I want you to know I appreciate your knowledge and spreading the love showing us how to sew these little beauties thank you so very much.
HELP, HELP, HELP!!!!! I HAVE A NEW SEERSUCKER BUTTON DOWN SHIRT AND WHEN I WASHED IT SOME OF THE FABRIC WEAVE CAME UNDONE ON THE SHOULDER . HOW CAN I REPAIR THIS? FIRST OF ALL BECAUSE ITS SEERSUCKER AND SECONDLY BECAUSE IYS ACTUALLY TWO PIECES OF FABRIC...ONE PIECE IS THE INSIDE OF THE SHIRT, THE TORN PART IS ON THE OUTSIDE.

I just made one for my car. It turned out great. Thanks for your help.
I have a new car. What a great way to bring that royal blue color from the outside to the gray inside. A perfect splash of color.

Thank you!
Awesome job can you teach us to sew dashboard cover pretty please
Can you use any fabric? I found some really cute pleather patterns that would look adorable in my car
I’ve made some in thick cotton (like duck) and some in flannels. The work well and can withstand regular washing.
I am so making this! 🚗
The thumbnail looked like crickbait when I clicked I saw real people so u earned a sub!
thanks for subbing
Can I use cotton? I really want to use character cotton
Sure! But I don't know how protective it'll be on a hot steering wheel and be more for design than function. I say go for it. ;)
Great idea Tova. In the summer moths my car gets very hot and I burn my hands on the stearing wheel.
