Thank you so much, I watched this on mute while bub slept nearby. I'm going to watch this again with audio but even without hearing I could see how simple this is to do. I think you have a gift for simplicity and that is what makes this tutorial so good ❤ EDIT: I'm going to use this to make a belly bar cover for my pram so bub doesn't leave chew marks when he gets teeth. If you happen to have a video on sewing a pram liner and strap covers that would also be amazing haha.
Thank you so much. I made this for my kids and they loved it. I’m new to sewing and this was a simple project with simple and clear steps. Thanks again 👏🏼🙏🏻
Thanks for the great tutorial. I just made two - one for each of my grandchildren so they’re more comfy on longer journeys. By the way, I discovered that your pattern is completely reversible - it can be put onto the seat belt with the ‘lining’ on the outside. So you can use an attractive fabric for the lining as an alternative top side!
Hi Sharon, the velcro makes it adjustable, it is nice and tight wherever you place it. But you cold always come up with another way to attach it that suits you better :)
hi can you pls put the brand names of the items you used? it would also be useful if you were able to put the links as to where you bought them. i’ve never even touched a sewing machine in my life so everything is completely new to me and it would help me out tremendously. thank you in advance
Hi! This is a great comment, thank you. I've used this Kaffe Fasset fabric: tinyurl.com/jut7xbsb, as well as some simple pink fabric: tinyurl.com/3v3svttc, for batting this will be good: tinyurl.com/22ahzkdn and for the closure I used some velcro: tinyurl.com/27cz7rar
Thank you. I know your primary audience is women, but I want to make a seatbelt cover for a different purpose: to prepare for a hopeful job as a mechanic as one element of keeping my car clean when I go home for the day. This'll shield my seatbelt from my beard if I happen to get car grime in my beard during the workday.
Great video! Short and to the point!
Thank you kindly for your lovely feedback :)
Made it! Thanks for the tutorial--much easier than my trying to figure everything out.
So happy to hear it! Well done, you!
I didn't know that you could put a piece of fabric down to help the foot grip! Total game changer for those pesky corners!
Isn't it great? I saw it in a video a friend posted several years ago. It made sewing life so much easier :)
I use it a lot. Especially when you start sewing thick fabric or approaching a thick seam. The stitch stays more uniform.
I've been sewing all my adult life and only learnt this last year!
Thank you very much! It’s incredibly simple, it explains very clearly how to make it. I also watched several demo videos but yours is the best!
Hi Zoltan! Wow, that's high praise, thank you :)
Thank you so much ,I can match the fabric to my new car 👍👍👍
Hi Eileen, what a fabulous idea! :)

I'm going to do this for when I'm a passenger in hubby's car. My eldest son paid $25 for one, I might make him another one!

Liked the music. Wish I could sew as good as you.

I am glad you enjoyed it and it was useful :)
Great tutorial, going to make a few up. If I was to use plain fabric I could personalise.
Hi Vicki, that's a great idea to personalise the plain fabric ones :)
Very good tutorial, but please show fabric that has an obvious right and wrong side. Thank you
Hi Susan, that is a brilliant idea, thank you for your suggestion! I'l keep it in mind.
This my job 💰😁
Sounds ominous :)

Hi Daniel, now this is some awesome feedback, thank you so much! What a brilliant idea to use the seatbelt cover for this purpose :)
