I think all the hype about a road glide is just that.....hype!!!!! I have owned both a batwing and a road glide and they are both good bikes for different reasons. From the fairing back they are the same bikes and now it seems as though anything other than a road glide is a mistake.
The new bikes also look much cheaper (more plastic) than the older models. Definitely would not trade my batwing for another road glide anytime soon!!!!! Also, if you have a limited you give up a lot on the new bikes. Just my two cents and I hope everyone is enjoying the new bikes.

Harley really drop the ball not going with the Prodigy wheel pqckage in my humble opinion.
What did he do to make the brakes fit on Prodigy wheels? Stock 24 Road Glide discs are 12.5 and the Prodigy wheel come with 11.8 front discs?

Beautiful bike, congratulations and the best of luck with it. One thing forgotten, someone has to give you a bell for it, to ward off the road trolls.
Just turned 70 in June, and have ridden Harley-Davidson for well over fifty years. Sad to say, I am bikeless right now, due to being a retired senior. We had to cut back seriously, over the last four years, due to the severe inflation, and rising costs of everything. So, I can only dream about being in the wind now.
I am totally amazed at all the performance upgrades, now attainable for the Harley's. The sky is the limit, as long as you have a nice, hefty wallet.
Once again, congratulations on such a sweet ride. Keep the rubber side down. FTW

Thank you for the video and sharing tricked out Road Glide! Can you tell me how much the stock wheels weighed? I've had BSTs on two previous sport bikes and loved them, but they are twice the price of the HD forged aluminum wheels.

I tried to get my local dealer to bet part of the ride again this year. I was told when they did last year that you showed up on a day when many people were working . Unlike when you did the first ride many years ago . I didn't hear an amount collected but was told they didn't get even close to what another dealer did the next day. Don't know if you're making it to that dealer this year but I'll be there if you do. Is there a list of those days and dealers? Nice Chevelle in the back.

Mostly Bling, coulda had the motor blueprinted to make sure the motor was reliable up to 100k miles.
Idk if I’d call it bling, or performance 🤷🏼♂️
@@adamsandoval The Cam, suspension and exhaust are performance parts. The swing arm maybe (not sure what it will do to make it better than the OEM if you aren't drag racing the bike with original top end, crank and pistons). The rest is bling.
I had my motor blueprinted, Dark horse balanced crank, heavy rods, forged pistons, polished cnc heads, S&S cam chest, exhaust (true duals) Legends suspension, performance clutch basket, man o war compensator etc. When it was taken apart the builder found leaking valve seats, over tightened cylinder heads and distorted head gaskets and the transmission had enough slop in it that it would have probably given out if I had put too much stress on it and it only had 10,000 miles on the 114. Now it's a 128 and a Baker 7 speed is replacing the stock transmission.
Personally I don't trust stock assembly line builds from Harley. Too many horror stories regarding failures because of weak parts and assembly line practices. Bikes run too lean and internal parts are not what they should be for a bike that costs over 30K at the dealer. Harley knows the majority of folks put about 3500 miles on them before they trade them in on a new one, so I believe they use that to their advantage and that is why they do not put in high dollar parts. That in my opinion is planned obsolescence.
@@Manonymous108 the suspension, cam, tune, exhaust is “most of it”. The rest is just to make it personal and comfortable.

I not much for flames but after listening to what you said about Matcbox flames brought me back to my childhood they really don’t look to bad. I am curious if I could get those mini boards to work on my Indian challenger
