Hi loves! Let me know what you want to see from me! 🫶🏿💗
Your skin routine ❤ please
I uploaded my morning skincare routine a few days ago 🫶🏿💗
I was thinking the same thing...your skin is like silk...SO beautiful
I would like to see more products tried for your hair that are similar to ones you’d use that work. Always curious about hair products on the market for this type as it is close to my hair type.❤🙏🏿
Heyyyy!! Can you help those of us who struggles with SSK. For some reason I believe mine are coming from when I spray water on them. Before then, I wasn’t struggling at all with them🤔
It would be greatly appreciated 🫶🏾
Ok but let's get into this skin of yours!!!!!!
Thank you 🥰🫶🏿💗
Right!😮 her skin is what brought me here...😊❤
Beautiful, right ?! My gosh🤭
Ok... Beautiful
Rich chocolate beautiful my light skin ass is like omg smh Gorgeous her sin in ❤
If you struggle with dry hair, I highly recommend vegetable glycerin. Mix with water and use to hydrate the hair then follow up with usual moisturising routine. It locks in the moisture for ages.
thank you for this additional tip!
I’d add honey too or hyaluronic acid
@@Tsuferg yess. That's awesome too.
@@Myselfandme3 😁👌🏽
@@Tsufergis the honey not sticky?
You have the most beautiful hair. You’re so gorgeous omg.
Thank you so much love!!
You put me on to Olaplex for 4c hair via TikTok! Really saved my hair tbh!
i've been using #3 since October. I cut my MBL hair to to 10 inches in October, and I'm at 12 inches today with the healthiest ends of my life lol! I've never retained length like this. Shoutout to YOU! Working to reach 16 inches in 2024🤞🏽
Two questions. 1. How often are you doing this routine? 2. What's your daily/weekly maintenance like? Would love to to see that routine as well! My biggest hurdle is staying ahead of dryness.
Thank you for all you do!
Castor oil or another oil your hair likes plus a good leave in conditioner. Don’t leave your hair down.
Omg hi!
This put a huge smile on my face.
I do this routine every 2-3 weeks. It’s been more like 3 weeks lately. I moisturize my hair about every 7-10 days with the same routine, a leave in moisturizer, honey hydrate and curl maker at the tips of my hair. A water based leave in + honey hydrate does wonders for my hair!
If my hair is looking a bit rough I retwist between the 1-2 week mark if I’m not washing my hair. 💗
@@fatimaxfarouk I agree!! I use a water based leave in plus honey mixed, a moisturizer I got from Charity with Unveiling the veil natural hair care, and I use natures protein coconut gelee on my ends. My hair is in mini braids so I do two cornrows and tuck the ends. I also do the baggy method on just my ends 3 times a week and OMGOSH!! I LOVE ALL THOSE PRODUCTS and how my hair feels!
I’m taking my hair heath and growth to another level this year!!
So cool to see someone with hair like mine. And your skin is beautiful
Thank you so much!!
@@fatimaxfarouk you’re absolutely welcome
Hey love you said you would do your own hair if you can see the parts, the tip i have for that is to get a hand held mirror, turn your back towards your bathrooms mirror and use the hand held mirror to see the back of your head, this helps me when i do my own knotless braids, no one else will handle your hair like you do🫶🏾
Thank you! This is an excellent tip
I have the same routine (started in 2022). I do flat twists instead and wash my hair weekly. I’ve seen a lot of growth! I’ll say it really works
Glad to see it’s working for you Linda 💗💗
Thoroughly enjoyed this and I’m relaxed 💕Beautiful hair, sis!!
Thankyouuuu for posting this tutorial, finally I understood that the problem is length retention and not hair growth products… all of those rice water hair challenges and overnight hair growth challenges made me confused.
Yes babes you got this 💗💗

Beautiful! New subbie, Such gorgeous hair! I do a lot of these similar things to my hair.
Thank you for supporting me! 🫶🏿💗
I feel you. I always wash and blow dry my own hair before going to a salon because I don’t trust anyone to be gentle enough
Twists are the best. I do that same style to my daughter’s hair. At night, I put her twists in 2 pony tails with protective bands (about 8 bands per pony). By morning time, her hair is stretched all the way down to almost her butt.
Your hair is beautiful 😍❤️
I went natural like 8 or 9 months ago and just 3 months ago I found the routine that grows my hair it’s definitely been a journey but I’m glad I found what helps me out I can definitely say that washing my hair in twist has been a major game changer for me
This is me now, sticking with a routine 🙏🏾
That finger twist is genius. I've been trying to figure out how to rope twist for forever

I would love to see hair growth oil for natural hair😊
Can you do “a week in my hair routine” please?
I just changed my hair routine. I have type 4 hair also . I added the honey hydrate and the Mielle oil. Good to know I’m on the right track. My hair grows fast but retention is definitely a problem.
Your hair is beautiful! I dyed my hair, went through post partum shedding, and now I’m ready to grow my hair past bra strap length. I want waist length hair again ❤

Gorgeous hair
I was literally nodding my head, in argreement, while watching this video and listening to all the tips you gave, because sis, I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING! My routine for my hair is so, so similar to yours and it has been really helping me to retain length! Thank you so much for this!🫶🏾

Hej beautiful 😍. Your hair is gorgeous. That first olaplex treatment, do you use before every wash?
Process is the EXACT same! Products may vary; Alodia Hair Care line is Clutch for me!
Might need to try the CR-Honey-Hydrate).👀
I do chunky braids or twists (sometimes both).
Love the simplicity! TFS
Edit: I love Olaplex too. I only use 3 & 4.
Hi hair twin! The honey hydrate is to die for!!

I thought about you the other day because you were right aphogee products
Happy to hear you liked them :)
Please do more hair growth videos and wash days & how to keep hair from matting and tangling. And what leave ins and deep conditioners you love best ans recommend to us ❤❤
My matting, felting and tangling was related to stress, lack of sleep and mood issues.
Please try to destress and see if that helps.
Good luck to you. 🥹🥹
@RissieRei that is actually an issue with me plus I'm iron and vit D deficient and don't have a very great sleep schedule and I shampoo my hair to often and I never stay consistent with one product. My hair gets matted into actual birds nests. It locs to where I've had to cut it. Especially my curl pattern and type of hair loves to wrap around one another. It tangles right after I detangle within seconds. But I'll try your tips. Love seeing your content can't wait to see more
Have you tried using a 3-way mirror for parting? You can hang it on a door for example. I also used to video call my laptop to do parts and face away from the phone lol
Omg this is genius!! I need to try it for sure. because my parts are so bad!
Beautiful hair beautiful skin
Thank you Grace 🫶🏿💗💗
This was just the validation I needed! Question though, how long does this take you?
My hair is not as long as yours but it legit takes me 2 hours persection to detangle. And I've got at least 10 😭😭
It takes me about 4 ish hours and most of that time is the braiding process! 🤣
@@fatimaxfarouk Clearly I'm doing something wrong 😭😭😭
This brush is the best money that and the demin brush thank god for these brushes shea moisture and carols daughter try such great products amazing
I totally agree!
Hello, love the video. This year I want to grow my hair healthier! My issue is my braids/twist are too short to wear out where I feel comfortable so I been experimenting with twist outs.
Do you think I would get the same result if I was to add a bit of hair to my twist or length/thickness?
Thank you!
You absolutely can! People do this with locs as well until they reach the length they want. People twist their hair in many different ways. It actually may last longer with hair added as well.
Hi love! Thank you for watching 💗
I think if you install the hair carefully and remove it with minimal breakage you should be fine. I personally avoid adding hair because it can be very drying so make sure you’re keeping your hair moisturized enough to prevent that from happening 🫶🏿
Blow dry your hair before adding hair products to prevent twist from shrinking
So is putting your hair in twists right after shampooing & conditioning part of stretching your hair without heat?
How often do you wash your hair? That may be part of why you aren’t being effected by washing your ends. When I went to weekly washing it became a real issue and I have had to cut a lot of of hair behind it
What protective styles did you get when your hair was shorter...about neck-shoulder length?
Hey love! How do you edit your videos ? I’m trying to get started on UA-cam this year.
Hi Love!! I use Final Cut Pro. If you don’t want to spend that much $$. CapCut for desktop and phone is also great. I’m sending good vibes you got this 💪🏿💪🏿
Care free curl activator and blue magic hair grease, works for me,so much moisture, and it last a week on my hair ,ijs
Is that curly perm activator? Thanks xxx
@No_Frills_Carnivore it comes in a tall brown bottle, CurlMax activator or Carefree curl activator gold,Wal-Mart sells it
How often do you do this routine? I wash weekly, would that be too often?
I love your video lesson, I’m a little confused you said you wash your hair 3 times a week, then said you don’t touch your hair for 10 days, so are you washing your hair in twists
Hi Ivy, I must’ve of made a mistake. I wash my hair every 2-3 weeks! Not 3 times a week ❤️❤️
i didn't hear how frequently you said you washed your hair, was that 2-3 times a week i.e. every other day?
O cool! I have a similar routine but my twist never stay when washing. I've had to braid it to stop the unravel. Any tips?
Hi love! I use hair clips to prevent my twists from unraveling 💗💗
You do this routine how many times a week? I didn't quite understand
Beautiful ❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊
Did you say you wash your hair 3 or 4 times a week?
Pls can we see the full blow dry process
Another question! If you had to pick between the two bond products you use at the start, which one would you choose?
No 3! 💗💗
@@fatimaxfarouk Oooh, good to know! Thank you! Would you say it's the combo of the two that are best for detangling? Or would No.3 alone suit that purpose?
Hi again! The olaplex products aren’t detangling products, they are bonding treatments that smoother, strengthen and repair hair to reduce split ends and breakage. You’re supposed to use it before you shampoo. I detangle my hair in the process to kill 2 birds with one stone! No 3 has more slip no Zero is a liquid!
@@fatimaxfarouk Gotcha! I thought because you were detangling with them that they may have extra benefits. Thank you for answering my questions! That helps a lot!
What’s your hair porosity?
Do you use the Olaplaex products every wash day? Also, are the Olaplaex products a sort of protein treatment?
Hi! Yes I use it every wash day except for wash days that I’m doing a protein treatment. No it’s not a protein treatment. It’s a bonding treatment that repairs the broken bonds in your hair to reduce split ends, breakage and strengthen and smoothen the hair. 💗💗
@@fatimaxfaroukhow often can I do a protein treatment? My hair requires a lot of moisture and is high porosity like yours
@@lyn6832 I do it every 2-3 months. You don’t want to do it too often, it could make your hair very brittle. If 2-3 months has negative effects increase the frequency 💗💗
@@fatimaxfarouk omghh thank u so much I was thinking about doing it every wash day😅
@lyn6832 oh girl no 😂💗💗
I wish I could my twa in sections and in twists like that. It’s so time consuming to detangle
You got this love!
Remember:
1. Be gentle when handling your hair
2. Moisturize
3. Protective style.
Consistently do this and you will reduce breakage significantly!
Thank you! I’ll practice using more gentle hands.
Hello will the products you use work on type 4 hair that’s low porosity?
I can’t say for sure because what works for me may not work for everyone. I’ve recommended these products for years and I haven’t gotten any push back from them except for the two step protein treatment. Some people with low porosity hair say it doesn't work for them, other say it does. You will have to try for yourself to know for sure 💗💗
My hair just doesnt stay twisted in the ends so that limits what I can do with protective styles. I have tried beeswax, and homemade sealer, nothing works. And I dont want to use rubber ands because my hair breaks off on the ends. The struggle is real.
Is your hair long enough to roll the ends up and make a loose knot?
I just realized you have 4c hair like me. What, I'm not sure about is if I have high or low porosity. How did you figure it out? The test I've taken gives off a low porosity vibe but I'm still not sure. My hair gets dry easily and I have lots of tangles and slip ends. Currently, my middle to back length is at bra length while the front session of my hair is shorter, and some parts are way shorter.🤦🏽♀️ I want to do a big chop and start all over but need to figure things out properly, pheww😤
Hi there!! If your hair is healthy, there’s no need to do a big chop. I’d just say to cut the split ends and damaged hair and rock with that. My hair is at an uneven length because I just cut off my unhealthy ends too. It’s feeling and looking sooooo much healthier and better
I’m sorry to hear that. I agree with the comment above. It honestly sounds like your hair might be High Porosity based a few things you mentioned . To confirm your porosity, you can take a shed Hair strand after you shampoo it and put it in water for 15 minutes, if sinks it’s hp, if it is in the middle of the water it is mp but if it floats it is lp. Another way to tell is how well your hair soak up water. When you go to wash your hair does your hair need a couple of minutes to start soaking up the water (LP Low Porosity) or do your hair immediately gets wet the moment water hits it (HP High Porosity).
@@Brandy_j5 Hi, thank you. I did the first test you mentioned on different occasions in the past and it came as low porosity. As for the other one, my hair takes a bit of time to get wet when I try to wash my hair. It also forms beads when it comes in contact with water, I have to squeeze it in. All these show it could be LP but it dries easily🤦🏽♀️ LP hair doesn't need thick products but my hair responds better to shea butter, mango butter and castor oil too when mixed with lighter oils. I currently use the Mielle moisturizing avocado milk, shea moisture raw shea butter deep moisturizing shampoo and the cream of nature mango and shea butter ultra-moisturizing conditioner. The milk and the conditioner are both thick, isn't that a sign of high porosity? How much time needed for your hair to soak water, determines if it's low or high?
@@setapartaay925 Okay, I will visit the hair salon and let them determine. I've been natural since December 24th, 2015 when I got a big chop and it's been a struggle. Making mistakes and trying things out, all to understand my hair better. I only got to discover the products I mentioned earlier in my other comment 3 months ago and they seem to be the only ones to work so far but my hair still gets dry after a while🚶🏾♀️
@@nininelson6108 ok, gotcha. It does seems like you’re LP. Also, try the baggy method. There’s tons of info about it. Seen some real growth doing that. I keep my hair in mini twists in a high bun during summer months and cornrows in a low bun during winter. I also use grease, do scalp massages, and I show some extra, extra, EXTRA TLC to my ends. I deep condition my entire head and then I deep condition my ends with oil right after. I also use Nature’s Protein coconut oil gelee for my ends while I do the baggy method…….🙏🏾🙌🏾😳😲🤭. I just purchased 7 jars of this stuff. LOVE IT!! #GameChanger
How often do you do the Olaplex treatment?
Almost every washday, I don’t use it on wash days I’m doing a protein treatment
@@fatimaxfarouk Thank you
Hiii! What if my hair is very short and cant be sectioned off? Do i just detangle and stuff
Hii! Yes that’s totally fine 🥰🥰

Thank you for subscribing! 🥰 I wash my hair every 2-3 weeks!
@@fatimaxfarouk Got you! Okay, I thought I heard that wrong lol

So sorry babes! I always work in sections and I try to keep my hair in a stretched state this prevent it from tangling badly 💗
Do you think you can wear your hair out and still retain length?
Sweet
Is there a such thing as not using enough product on the hair to hydrate?
Yes, if you only put a dime sized amount it won't be enough to coat every hair strand!
Your hair is beautiful! Have you always been natural?
Thank you! No, I went natural in 2014!
What type of brush is that
It’s the Tangle Teezer for 3c to 4c hair 🫶🏿 it’s linked in the description too
What is your height? (to compare with your hair growth)
Do you leave it wet? These twists are very doable for me BUT my hair wants to stay wet forever lol
You can use a hooded dryer.
What’s your hair’s porosity?
High porosity 💗💗
I just want to reach bra strap length again!!😢i cut mine in 2017 now stuck chin length
You got this babes! Focus on being as gentle as possible, keep your hair moisturized. Makes sure you aren’t deficient in iron or vitamin d. It can affect your hair growth cycle 💗💗
Yes, great tips, but I’d like to add to keeps your ends tucked away too. This has been a great help for LR for me💯
@@fatimaxfarouk wow spot on haha I just started taking my vitamins again,I was low on iron/ magnesium.🤍
Hey, how many years it took do get this length?
3 years! ❤️❤️
u wash your hair 2 to 3 times a week?
I meant every 2-3 weeks! 💗💗
Do u blowdry everytime u wash ur hair?
Hi Faith no I don’t blow dry my hair unless I’m getting a trim which is about every 4-5 months
@@fatimaxfarouk they are debates suggesting that blowdrying is better than airdrying bcos hair is in the weakest state when wet and keeping hair wet for too long is damaging to the hair
@@faithagamah8598I think it depends on porosity because low porosity hair takes longer to dry than high porosity hair.
Is your hair a low porosity hair?
Because it doesn’t absorb product, it growth is slow.
How can I make it grow
