나도 장사하면서 외국인들 많이 응대하는데
말 걸어오면 묻지도 따지지도 않고 번역앱 켠다. 갖다대면 알아서 솰라솰라하고
난 그거보고 답변하거나, 'WHY NOT!', 'OF COURSE', 'YEAH! SURE!' 같은 추임새나 신나게 넣어주면 됨.
물론 정말 정신없는 가게는 휴대폰 꺼내서 번역 돌릴 틈도 없겠지만, 그 정도 성의는 필요함.
소통이 조금만 삐끗하면 그 외국인 손님들은 근사한 저녁식사를 기대하고 왔다가 망칠 수도 있으니.
맞아요. 공감합니다 약간의 세심함만 있더라면 외국인의 식사를 망치면 안될텐데...라는 생각이, 한번만 눈을 돌리면 그 손님은 엄청 감사할 텐데 말이에요 모자로 한층 멋 을 냇던 그 젊은이에 견식이 부족한 것 뿐이겠죠?

Yeah, this is not kbbq at all... You guys just had some type of kimchi pork bone stew. Oh well, I hope you guys did end up trying the real deal after filming this video
1. You didn't order Korean BBQ. You guys got duruchigi. It's like kimchi jjigae, Kimchi stew with pork in it, but with less broth in it. The place itself is not a Kbbq place lol
2. Korean people love beef. The reason why pork is easier to find is because it's cheaper. I wrote the reason briefly on your video, flying to Korea for the first time.
3. We fully cook pork here.
Plus, there was beef on the menu :o
Tamagoyaki is also Japanese. But lots of Korean food are just mimicked jpanese food anyways

Foreign travelers take note. Korea has a principle of separating waste. If there are many trash cans on the road, many people throw away their trash without separating it, so we deliberately removed about 80% of trash cans. By removing trash cans, trash naturally comes out. No one is throwing things away, and the amount of trash has also decreased significantly. Foreigners should not complain that there are no trash cans on the street, and do not create trash while walking and eating food or drinks on the street. And if you have no choice but to eat food on the street, make sure to dispose of the trash left after eating. Please keep it with you when you get home and dispose of it separately.
Oh well, I don’t think it’s only foreigners throw trash away. Koreans spit everywhere which is extremely disgusting. I’m Korean, too, but Koreans have very little sense or public manners😅.

@user-fq3li5ig7q 전에 우리동네 사거리에 쓰레기통 있었는데 오히려 쓰레기통은 물론이고 그 주변이 더 더러워지더군요... 차라리 쓰레기통 없는 지금이 더 깨끗합니다. 중공화교들이 쓰레기를 아무대나 버리는게 문제지요.
Dear foreigners please ignore this idiot. Even koreans compain about the lacking of trashcans. Its just the government not wanting to spend their money on processing the trash.
쓰레기통이 없으면 길거리가 깨끗해진다는건 무슨 논리임? 머가리 스스로 한대 쥐어박고 다시 생각을 해봐라. 쓰레기를 들고 걸어다니다 쓰레기통이 안보이면 결국엔 길바닥에 버리게 된다. 공공장소 쓰레기 관리는 엄연히 국가의 의무다. 우리나라 처럼 비정상적으로 분리수거를 세세히 하는 나라도 없거니와 그중 대부분이 재활용되지 못하고 결국엔 소각된다.

When you go to a restaurant in a tourist destination, there are many people who speak English, but few people in the local restaurant speak English. Koreans generally do not speak English well. And that is stew, not Korean barbecue.

If you want to try Korean BBQ again, you have to find samgyeobsal
What you ate today is stew with kimchi and pork, which Koreans eat with rice
Korean BBQ is NOT samgyeobsal.
Samghyeobsal is just one type of pork.
Korean BBQ can be pork or beef.
THe mostfamous /best kbbq is ggotdeungshim/ggotsal.

물론 영어가 공용어이긴 하지만 그 나라를 여행한다면 최소한 기본적인 단어와 문화, 꼭 알아두어야 할 것들은 숙지하고 다녀야 할 것이다.
가끔 영어권에서 놀러 다니는 이들은 무성의하게 자신들의 지식과 가치를 기준으로 다른 나라의 모든 것을 판단하려고 하는 경향이 있다.
그리고 현지인이 영어를 못할 경우를 대비해 최소한 번역앱을 들고 다니며 그것을 적극적으로 사용하려는 성의는 보여야 한다.
그렇지 않은 여행자들은 한 마디로 오만하고 건방지기 짝이 없다는 말이다.
여행경력도 좀 되고 심지어 인도까지 다녀온 사람들이 맨땅에 해딩식으로 여행을하네 구글리뷰좀봐요 ㅋㅋ

??Why did they serve the pork they brought by mistake without turning it back into beef? Is this an unbelievable restaurant or is it common sense in this country?
If you go to a pasta restaurant and expect a hamburger and are asked why they don't give you a hamburger, is that common sense? What if I had at least asked the waiter before ordering that I wanted Korean BBQ?

BBQ 먹으러 갔는데 직원하고 소통이 제대로 안돼서 그런거잖아. 주문 과정이 안 나와서 정확히는 모르겠지만 포크? 미트? 물어 보니 직원이 그냥 오케이 해서 들어 간듯한데... 그걸 뭔 존중이 되니 않되니 하니. 그리고 제목이 try out 시도했다는 얘기잖아. 시도했는데 다른 거 먹게 된 거.

한국 사람인 저도 저렇게 잘라서 먹어 본 적이 없는.
국물 요리는 보통 잘라서 나오고, 잘라서 먹는 고기는 국물없이 불판에서 자르죠.
그리고, 불판 고기도 종업원이 잘라주기도 하는. 한국인도 좀 귀찮아 함. 저런 요리는 난이도가 높은. 옷에 튀고... ㅎㅎㅎ;;

You guys had duruchigi instead of Korean style barbeque but that's great! I always prefer duruchigi with some soju.

those kind of places, which usually have red canopy extension, are for alcohol at night but most of them serve lunch meal to make more money

I prefer eating my Korean Pork BBQ on a sizzling pot over flames, where it gets crispy but stays juicy & then you eat it with Kimchi & lettuce/perilla leaves--just wrap & stuff into your mouth. I recommend pork rib 😋 is has a sweet taste. it is very different from normal pork bbq.
Korean dessert is fried rice. You should've asked for more rice and stir fry it with the leftover stew. Also the egg/cheese dish is to neutralize the spiciness. Eating it in between the stew mightve help. Great video!
