If you like fast food. You should try Mom's Touch chicken burgers and fries. It's exclusively in Korea and one of my favorites.

Even buns are more premium than the state side. And they have that hard paper that wrap around to keep the burger's form to make it look more closer to advertised version. Dang, we get a dried piece of patty in cheap dried buns. Look at that gloss on the bun... ugh...

@@Heiz-e8j 맥날은 점포수가 적다보니 맘터,롯데리아,버거킹에 많이 밀리긴 함. 점포수가 적다보니 우리 동네에 하나밖에 없고 그것마저 배달안됨... ㅋㅋ 그래서 간혹가다 맥날 지나칠때만 먹는정도. 저도 맥날 좋아하는데 배달이 안되니 덜 먹게 되네요.

In Korea, bulgogi generally refers to thinly sliced beef marinated in sweet soy sauce. If it's pork, it's called pork bulgogi, and if it's spicy sauce, it's called spicy bulgogi.

Just a quick tip: whenever you see a Romanized Korean word with "eo" in it, it's pronounced "uh", so "Seoul" is pronounced "Suh-ool". The English word "soul" is also acceptable for Westerners to pronounce it as since it's close enough. :)

OMG, these two are so immersing themselves in the Korean culture! McDonald's, how more Korean could they be. "Crazy!!!!!". The most laughable part was that nothing they ordered was
remotely Korean. But they ordered just about everything else, cajun, shanghai anyone? What a.laugh. McD's not a. thing in Korea. Koreans prefer higher quality foods; gourmet burger joints only.

You guys should try Mom’s Touch, whichi is the most popular chinken sandwich chain in Korea. It has recently opened the first store in Japan and has drawn huge crowds every day. The stores are everywhere in Korea so it wont be difficult to find one at all!

맥도날드가 맛있다는 생각은 안 들지만, 편리합니다. 맘스터치가 영어로 직역하면 어감이 이상한 것 같지만..ㅋㅋ 한국에선 인기 있는 버거고, 미국에서 인기있는 프렌차이즈 버거 중에 한국에 있는 것들도 인기 있음.. 맥도날드는 롯데리아 같은 느낌이 강합니다.
McDonald’s is popular in Korea too but they lost their market share massively to BurgerKing due to the poor management a few years ago, so you don’t see many McDonald’s in Korea.

Yeah I know. I don't know why they compare korea to japan to be honest. It's just two different countries with two distinct culture. For example Korean fried chicken is world famous now, but you don't hear Japanese fried chicken being famous.

Hi @@JungHoon-Q . I think they just compared with a previous country where they visited. If they went to japan after south korea, they probabry told about korean things in japan. Perhaps if they went to china before south korea, they would talk about chinese things instead of japanese things.
@JungHoon-Q we flew from Osaka to Seoul - we had 3 weeks in Japan just before South Korea so yeah naturally we compare the two. We also flew to Beijing after Seoul and compared the Asian countries with each other. Nothing wrong with that. We’re westerners on a world trip and we like to compare things that are different to home / similar in their continents.
We enjoy each country for what it is but also like to compare to previous countries. I think you’ll find everyone does 😂

Bulgogi is not just meat, it is beef in soy sauce which is sweet. Bulgogi Burger is a burger that can only be tasted in Korea. But the cheap version of McDonald's Bulgogi Burger is not good, so try the Garlic Bulgogi Burger at Burger King, which serves a proper sweet Bulgogi Burger.
