I love how you showed each piece of gear in context of a live application, not many people do that! I also thought it was really neat how you captured your pedals into the cortex, I had no idea that was possible but then I don't use one haha
Really great tone man. Good to see the Cortex being used on big stages. Ive been curious about that thing. Im still using Stomp for amp and never been happier but that Cortex does sound legit.
Eversince you posted your update rig on your IG I have been waiting for this updated rig rundown!! Hahaha thank you man! You are one of my inspiration when it comes to playing and worshipping the Lord tru music 🔥👍😁

It really is amazing the tone that you can achieve these days with fully digital. I’m selling my whole pedalboard and paring down to a Quad Cortex and something similar to this in size. I was intrigued when I clicked on the video though as to why you’d be using a QC AND an HX Stomp AND a BigSky, especially with the QC CPU being so powerful, but seems that Line 6 still has the lead with space and time based effects, and the BigSky is still the reverb king, but it also makes practical sense with what you have here without having to lean down to press any buttons or the screen to change anything. Very intelligent, practical and awesome sounding pedalboard. Pity I’ve already sold my HX Stomp to help fund a QC, but then I only play in a small local church and looking to get back into some gigging outside church, so I feel I’ll be able to make the QC work without needing a Stomp and additional reverb pedal! Great stuff.
Hey E! First off, amazing video and tones! Absolutely love your playing! I just got an hx stomp and i was curious what amps you would recommend using with your JMOD/Super Reverb IR's? Thanks!
Since you're using the Aux out on the volume pedal as a tuner out, I'm assuming the volume pedal is placed in another effects loop? Or in the same FX Loop as the Stomp and Big Sky?
Hey E - hopefully the planned Neural Marketplace will be up soon so you and other pros can sell your captures! Question on your “Main” QC preset shown in this rundown - you’re using 2 of the QC amp models and not your captures - which models are they? Thanks!
I've found a power conditioner and high quality power supplies have helped a lot with the noise. Any pedal that removes the hum will noticeably alter your tone. Compressors also really increase the hum so if you have an always on compressor maybe don't use it with p90s except for specific parts.
I’ve had a lot of conversations with sound guys about pickups. My Strat is noisy. I just tell them it’s part of the sound and silence is not the goal. They’ve learned that it’s ok to have a little guitar buzz in the mix.
Hey E, just wondering if the 3x P90 pickups in your new Warhawk are Elliotts Swallowtail pickups, or something else. I'm wanting to throw some Strat-sized P90s in my strat 🙏🏻
Did you have to solder the xlr cables after, routing them through the temple board holes, since they aren’t normally big enough for regular xlr plugs to fit through?
Hey E! How are you powering the QC? I'm looking to buying one and I don't think an Ojai is going to cut it. Are you running a 2 to 1 adaptor to power it?
I hear from the video that your using the captured PRS J mod and Super Reverb . But on the last part of the video, I see an amp block and cab block. Do you also use the stock cab and amps in the QC too?
I hope you see this, because I’m going crazy trying to figure out 😅! If you don’t mind letting me know what XLR, and 1/4 pass through you’re using on the side of your board. I’m also using a QC, but on a Duo 17. Thanks!
@@phillipsouthard8285 that’s exactly what I’m saying bro. It doesn’t matter, I just thought it would be funny if that’s what happened and he then went through the trouble to redub cause he’s committed to good content. And I think it would be funny because that’s MY personality as well and I would absolutely do the same thing so it’s humorous to me. Not everything is outrage worthy
Is this the same exact set up you use with Brooke? Love what you do. I get excited when you post because you add some very influential parts to the songs my church tends to play. I think it’s important that as guitarist we don’t over play of course but it’s definitely cool to see someone who executes doing something fitting/different rather sticking exactly to a track part without getting to obnoxious ahah.
Just curious, is there a reason why you chose to use the XLR Outputs as opposed to the 1/4" Balanced Outs from the QC? Planning my patchbay now and am contemplating.
Did you set the delays and modulations to be stereo?? Just looking at the video, it seems like it’s setup as mono since on the stomp, it’s not going to left and right but in one line
They can be a single line on the stomp and still be stereo. You just select the delays and other modulation from under the Stereo or Legacy tabs instead of Mono, and then set your outputs to be panned hard L/R.
The respect from Brandon at 2:21 when you pulled that lick was real! 🔥

Dood! An updated RR would be sweet!! Really enjoy watching your videos - looking forward to the next one!!
Also - Thanks for what you do
Manz at FOH really playing Cody Fry - I Hear A Symphony at 3:00 . What a legend.
I just want your tone man. You guys are blessing to all of us!
I would gladly pay for this patch if you make it available. Sounds great!
That board is wild! I love it!

Gimme that P40 Warhawk 😍🙌🏼
Love your video man
I appreciate you! 👊🏼
That is one dream rig! Awesome playing & sounds! Thank you bro!!
Dude you’re such an inspiration!
Too kind! Thank you so much
i love how crazy rigs are these days. HX Stomp + Quad is super sick rig.
Gotta love Brandon Lake. the look across the band stoked as yall is so good.

Thanks for this I love your content! Great player, great gear, great ministry!!
refreshing to see a different pedalboard and amps you're using compared to majority of P/W. PRS and Fender sound killer.
awesome man! please do more videos!!! i love the content!
Love your tones! amazing :)
Dope setup! That new Elliott is wild!
Bro! Love this man! I so wanna meet you one day and tell how much this content helps me become a better guitarist!
Love your stuff man!! Saw you at the John Mayer concert last night!
Yea i gave you the exact same look as Brandon in Never Lost. Gorgeous tones and playing
Would love for you to upload your amp captures to the Neural Cloud!
Can we get chords for that never lost section? They sound so good!!

The stank face I made when I heard Never lost, that Warhawk is nastyyyy

Yes!! That’s my secondary one with stock amps. It’s the Fender Super and the Marshall Super Lead
Wondering if the QC amps, cabs are shared somewhere? I'd be really interested in hearing those! Love the tone.
Love it! Very clear
Would love to see the full video of that part for Never Lost 2:04
Yea too bad you can’t hear any of these parts in the actual recording. They’re buried.
Awesome! Exactly what i was waiting for. Some presets too!
Love this! I appreciate your work! How do you handle P90 noise? I love the P90 sooo much but get complaints to from the sound engineers about noise 😕
Maybe a noise gate? I admit it’s kind of a last ditch effort but one thats setup well can be more unnoticeable
I've found a power conditioner and high quality power supplies have helped a lot with the noise. Any pedal that removes the hum will noticeably alter your tone. Compressors also really increase the hum so if you have an always on compressor maybe don't use it with p90s except for specific parts.
Good pickup cavity shielding also helps quite a bit.

Probably a noise gate in one of the multi fx. Noise gates are pretty good nowadays
Brandon catching feelings for those passings chords at 2:20
Anywhere we can get your cortex captures?
Are you on the cloud? I would love to play the captures !
Hey E, just wondering if the 3x P90 pickups in your new Warhawk are Elliotts Swallowtail pickups, or something else. I'm wanting to throw some Strat-sized P90s in my strat 🙏🏻
hey man did you find out in the end? have been searching for them as well but found no info so far
Can we please get these amp captures on the cortex cloud?🙏🏽
Such a great board setup. Tbh I might use that setup for myself whenever my cortex comes in
Also no one talking about Bon Iver in the background?
Do you share/sell your presets or captures for the QC?? I’d love to add some of these tones to mine
what's your signal chain looks like on your quad cortex? are you running your two amps in a stereo image?
finally!!!!🙏
Thanks for the rig rundown! Is there any chance we can get a demo video of the pedalboard? Btw its amazing 🤩
You neglected to mention where you picked up that sweet denim cardigan 🔥
It’s Puma! That night was an ice hockey venue so I had to layer up 🥶 haha
I run a similar setup with the helix floor as the brains of my rig. Hybrid rigs are the way of the future!
Yes sir!! It makes things so much easier
@@EEdwardsMusic are you running your wet fx in parallel at all before hitting the front of the amp captures? Or is everything just going straight in?
Would you ever put those captures on the quad cortex cloud ?
Keen on the capture as well! Put up a link and I’m sure we’d gladly pay
Amazing tone! Are you selling impulse responses for your amps?
Do you have your amp captures available anywhere? Or will you when the marketplace is ever released?
Epiccccccccccc bro!!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Goofy question but which straps are you using? The black ones look super comfortable. 😂
Planet waves auto lock strap. Love them!
@@EEdwardsMusic thanks so much man! appreciate all you do!
Pretty slick set up, thanks. What is your stage monitor ?
*Buys Quad Cortex* - any chance you'd release your quad cortex patch?
Love that setup! Are you planning to post your captures?
Cool rig, great tones - but did you go back and re-record your speaking audio ADR style? Lol
Love the set up! Are you doing a voice over? lol
Did you have to solder the xlr cables after, routing them through the temple board holes, since they aren’t normally big enough for regular xlr plugs to fit through?
What is that tremolo type and name and can I put that on my solid body telecaster?
Vega Trem
Thanks man!
I gotta know where you got that hat!
Hey E! How are you powering the QC? I'm looking to buying one and I don't think an Ojai is going to cut it. Are you running a 2 to 1 adaptor to power it?
Could you tell where you got these xlr adaptes for temple board?
You think anything will change on your board with HX Stomp Firmware 3.15?
¿Are you running any compressor pedal?
Is it possible to get the full video of might get loud from 0:07?
It’s on his UA-cam channel !!! 🙏✝️😀😀
I hear from the video that your using the captured PRS J mod and Super Reverb . But on the last part of the video, I see an amp block and cab block. Do you also use the stock cab and amps in the QC too?
Lets go !

It’s the Neutrik XLR passthrough modules mounted to Temple’s blank module
@@EEdwardsMusic and the 1/4 one?
Awesome video! How did you get the quartz to display like that?
Lol i must be crazy but this looks like you overdubbed it
I was thinking the same thing
I petition E to confess lol no shame in it if the original audio blew or got lost, gotta do what you gotta do
@@benstagram97 why does it matter? Maybe the audio was just really hard to hear and he decided to just overdub it.

Hi E, awesome tones! What cabs/IRS are you using here? Or did you capture cabs with your amps?

How could I buy it??

Thanks so much for the kind words!! The space is so important. Yes it’s the same rig!
No comp? Or does it come from the QC?
Why do I feel like this is a voice over? Just me?
But your set up looks so CLEAN
It’s definitely a voice over, but home boy nailed it
I dont notice much guitars on elevation and they should be turned up more!!
Do you use the same strings on all of your guitars or do you use different gauges between guitars?
Why do you need 2 power supplies?
Just curious, is there a reason why you chose to use the XLR Outputs as opposed to the 1/4" Balanced Outs from the QC? Planning my patchbay now and am contemplating.
XLR allows me to go straight to the console. 1/4 would need a direct box
@@EEdwardsMusic Ahh ok. I was under the impression that the 1/4" Balanced Outs can just be converted to XLR via a cable.
Thanks!
Did you voice over this video😅
Thanks for the gear rundown. Are you able to tap tempo on the fly or does each song need to be programmed and saved?
Yes! I’m using the main footswitch on the Quartz for tap tempo
🔥🔥🔥
g o a t
What levels do you typically use on the JMOD?
hey what guitar stand do you use?
Next years rig, 2 Quad Cortex on the board.😄
Any specific string recommendations for your guitars?
I use D’Addario 9s for the Warhawk and 10s for the Tonemaster!
😍😍😍😍😍😍
Which power supply are you using to power the QC?
The Cioks DC7!
So you are not using actual amps?
Hey bro, can you send your PRESET to helix, please
anyone know the song at 8:06?
O Come To The Altar!
🤙🏾
cabinets? monitors?
He doesn't use cabinets. He showed you the in ear monitors
