Thanks for the amazing Helix presets and IRs. Quick question on your in-ear mix - does KT side chain compress vocals to a band bus? Brandon sound real loud and clear before the band is in, then kind of goes to the background. Or am I just hearing a compression effect with the input to the GoPro?
That is most likely the audio hitting the gopro’s limiter, but typically I like to keep vocals audible but not on top of the mix like they might be live or on an album.
Gotcha. Assuming you have the GoPro audio input setting to Line In, it’s still limiting like that? That would be unfortunate. I’d love to hear what the raw mix sounds like.

Only real benefits to DiGiCo in this scenario are the speed of workflow, I/O, and reliability. With the same musicians, you could get a monitor mix 90% this good with pretty much anything.
David, love this man… on Raise a hallelujah, I noticed unlike Jonathan during the Chorus the lead line picking starts and remains on the downbeat. This seems to make this part much easier to play. Am I hearing this correctly?
@@DavidHislop I showed a few people on our worship team this video to show how a balanced in-ear mix should be. And again, just play the parts assigned so that it sounds amazing and isn't a distraction!
Usually I would too - but really it depends on how much I trust the rest of the team rhythmically. These guys I would trust - so less click is really, really nice as you can then hear everyone that much better. Doesn't always happen though, but it sure is nice when I don't have to drive the bus.
yeah me too, but these guys are Bethel music so I guarantee even if they lose click in their ears, they will probably stay locked in time due to their musical skill.
