- Live On Tour In Milwaukee! The video is from my Gopro and the audio is from my monitor mix feeding into the Gopro (monitor engineer KT Aguilar). This is a fun behind-the-scenes look and listen to what I hear when we play live (instruments, leaders, click, cues, MD, etc). Thanks for the amazing Helix presets and IRs. Quick question on your in-ear mix - does KT side chain compress vocals to a band bus? Brandon sound real loud and clear before the band is in, then kind of goes to the background. Or am I just hearing a compression effect with the input to the GoPro?
That is most likely the audio hitting the gopro’s limiter, but typically I like to keep vocals audible but not on top of the mix like they might be live or on an album.
Gotcha. Assuming you have the GoPro audio input setting to Line In, it’s still limiting like that? That would be unfortunate. I’d love to hear what the raw mix sounds like.

Yes, we run clicks, cues, & some tracks depending on the song.
@@DavidHislop I showed a few people on our worship team this video to show how a balanced in-ear mix should be. And again, just play the parts assigned so that it sounds amazing and isn't a distraction!
