I said do this zoom comparison in videos not photos . Every phone can click better photos but performance in their video is needed to b compared when they use optical lenses while zoom

Okay in my next video I'll do that. It will be only in 4k30 fps. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra can't switch between lenses while recording in 4K60 FPS (it will make a crop and I already showed that on my previous video) so I will need to record it in 4K30 FPS only. Than there will be a possibility to switch between lenses on S23 Ultra. S24 Ultra can switch between lenses on both 4K30 and 4K60. What else do you want me to compare? Only switching between lenses while recording?

@@Techi_Guy_TV You can also compare at FHD 60 FPS. Both can shift lenses at this resolution.

When shooting at night the 3x lens on s23 was not cleaned/wiped properly, it is visible on light reflections, thats why photos look so dull and noisy and foggy... next time you really need to take care of this ;) otherwise the comparison makes no sense (mainly for non tech guys)

No. You're wrong. Check out my other comparisons. I made few of them. Also at night. Everytime I take pictures at night with S23 Ultra with 3x lens the image always looks the same way. Blurry with strange flares. The lens is cleaned. I always clean lenses before taking pictures. Even when I don't make comparison. It's every time the same. Only at night. During the day pictures are crisp. S24 Ultra has the same lens and don't have such an issue. Check my other video and camera comparisons. 3x lens in S23 Ultra always produces such images.

@@Techi_Guy_TV yes, I owe you an apology, you are right :) can you tell me your opinion on the diference in photo quality from your personal view? From your videos I have to say that s24u photos are way more natural and pleasing, but is the difference consistent in most situations? I dont want to be let down if I upgrade from s23u. Thanks :) And keep up good work.

@@veronique7 my personal opinion is that S24 Ultra produces very similar photos to S23 Ultra. However zoom is very different. I can tell you only what do I prefer. I still have both phones and can tell you what do I think.
First of all processing is different. S24 Ultra takes slightly less detailed photos and videos in comparison to S23 Ultra. However in my opinion it's not a disadvantage mainly because S23 Ultra has over sharpened (over processed) pictures and videos. Detailed produced by S23 Ultra are fake. You can see it when you zoom photos taken by S23 Ultra. Hope you understand what do I mean. S24 Ultra takes slightly less detailed photos but also they are more natural and not so over processed by algorithm. Personally I definitely prefer S24 Ultra's processing in comparison to S23 Ultra. Pictures also have slightly warmer tone but also more realistic. For example when you look on the road concrete has more realistic look. It's not so cold and so grey. It's more true to life. People skin tone also is slightly warmer and more to yellow look in S24U Ultra. S23 Ultra has tendency to take pictures with more green and blue tint. Personally I prefer warmer tones so again for me S24 Ultra wins. Next low light photos. I made a camera comparison only at night. You can check it. S23 Ultra produces fake colors at night. It has tendency to brighten the whole scene too much. For example yellow light bulbs are more white than in reality. In reality they are yellow not white. Clouds and sky at night are blue. In reality sky at night is almost not visible. However S23 Ultra completely changes look of night. S24 Ultra produces more true to life colors at night. Photos are slightly darker but colors are more accurate and also sharper. You can see more details on photos at night taken with S24 Ultra. Yellow bulbs are yellow not white as in reality. Road has slightly darker tone but not as grey as on S23 Ultra's photos. Sky is not so blue and better represents night photos. So for me again S24U wins.
Now zoom. This is a very tricky subject. 3x optical in my opinion on S24U is slightly better than on S23U. But really the difference is very very small. Mainly again in colors. Sharpness etc are almost identical. However as you probably noticed 3x telephoto on S23 Ultra has strange "smudgy look". Photos look like as the lens is dirty but it isn't. On S24 Ultra there's no such issue. 5x optical on S24U is better than 5x crop on S23U. It's very visible especially at night. I showed few photos taken at night with S24 Ultra 5x lens and the same 5x magnification but crop on S23U. Always S24U takes better photos at 5x. At night the difference is huge in favour of S24U. No doubt about that. Everything from 5x till 9.9x is better on S24U. However everything from 10x and above is better on S23U. Photos taken with long range zoom are slightly more detailed and slightly sharper on S23U. But again photos taken with S23U are less colorful and have tendency to blue tone but S24U photos are more colorful and have tendency to have more warm tone. So you need to answer a question which zoom level do you prefer. Would you like to have further zoom or more useful zoom level. For me personally I checked my gallery and I don't have any useful photos taken with 10x lens and above. Any. So for me 10x lens was useless. However when I switched to S24U I started to use 5x lens even more often than 3x. So personally for me having 3x and 5x lenses is much useful than having 3x and 10x. I don't mind loosing quality in long range zoom because I don't take pictures from the distance. That's why I prefer useful zoom from ultra wide lens than main wide, 3x lens and tx lens. These lenses are much useful for me and I don't mind getting rid of a 10x magnification lens from S23U. You need to do the same. Check your photos taken with S23U and find how many photos have you taken with 10x zoom. If you took a lot of photos taken with this lens than keep S23U. If you don't have photos taken with 10x lens than switch to S24U because you will find the way to use 5x lens more than 10x. This is what I would recommend to do if I were you. For me long range zoom (10x-100x) is completely useless so I prefer to have better quality pictures taken with 5x lens.
What's more at the moment I'm comparing taking photos with auto mode in 12 mpx to 24 mpx Expert RAW and I think that expert raw 24 mpx will be my default way to take pictures... 😉 Soon I'll make a video about that. The results are really promising. S23U even after One UI 6.1 update doesn't have this mode.

Thanks for such a detailed answer, agree with all of that, I have s23u and absolutely hate the overprocessing and the 10x, it is such a poor quality lens i rarely use it. I hoped that todays 6.1 will change image processing, however that did not happen, so s24u is now the only option. My concern is, if Samsung with future updates of s24u will not increase the overprocessing again, thats my feeling from those two updates which s24u received so far.... :( that would be a real waste of money...

@@veronique7 It's difficult to say what would Samsung does in next updates however from what I have noticed is that they haven't increased over sharpening effect in last three updates. They increased sharpened but only when algorithms notice text in long range zooming. Then it activates sharpening effect and photos look like more sharp but it's also fake sharpness. Only here I noticed this sharpening effect. When you take photos of landscapes, people etc this sharpening effect hasn't increased in last three updates so I hope Samsung won't mess this up. At least for now they haven't 😉 Low light photos should even be better after April's security patch but to be honest I haven't checked that yet. As I also mentioned before 24 mpx mode in Expert RAW is also better than auto mode 12 mpx at least in my opinion 😉
