Do you ever make baked Mac and cheese? My kids always look forward to that for Christmas dinner and other special meals. The kids don't want the boxed macaroni and cheese any more.
Cheryl I have to smile when I watch your videos. The hubby and I have never eaten many baked beans but since watching your videos we eat baked beans with our steaks and jacket potatoes. I was hoping you would include in your recipes Sausage Casserole like you make with that packet. I bought a couple of those packets but forgot how to make the recipe. Just love your channel.

I make Swede for Thanksgiving(USA) and an American friend had never had it. Surprise for her as my brother is not a veggie lover but he loves the Swede as mum always made it. Just had sausage roll with Heinz beans. Cannot get away from my Scots background. Have a great week.

You’re my inspiration, Cheryl! I just got back lab work that shows I need to make some dietary changes and fast! High cholesterol and pre diabetes. I admire your discipline, especially when you are eating differently than your friends and family. All the meals look wonderful! It makes me realise that I can tweak the meals I cook for others or just eat something completely different to promote my health. Thank you
An Aussie restaurant in my home town in California served meat pies with peas added to their mashed swedes (rutabagas, in the U.S.) on the side. We were so sad when the restaurant closed!

In the beginning it was a challenge and living in the USA where our Scottish meals are non existent, your recipes are a life saver. Thanks again Cheryl. I’ll never be able to cook like my wife did before she passed, but you have inspired me to try making things that I never thought I would be able to.
Cheryl love your vids, my sister in law makes the best lasagne I've ever tasted, her secret ingredient is baked beans through the mince, worth trying, I love it xx
Hi Cheryl have been watching for a few years now we always watch both vids, the shopping and the meals on Sunday night, I am pro baked beans, whilst my family aren’t, I cheer for baked beans and they cheer for when you have something different with your mash which looks lovely, by the way

Lol i ran this by my husband for a future meal ....sorry Cheryl this didn't work for him , himself says butchers sausage rolls are to be savoured on there own with nothing else lol ...by the way my mum was a scot from Greenock she taught me to cook and bake and a lot of your dishes take me back so thank you.
Wow that zite pasta looks delicious can't wait to see that video & give it a go, I love lasagne so that's going to be 1 for me !!, all meals look so good. I got some turkey steaks out of the freezer yesterday for tea tonight, wasn't quite sure what I was going to make, but think will do the tuscan chicken, just need to re watch the video & if I have all the ingredients then I will make tgst for tea tonigh. I rather like the look of that orange mac n cheese. I'll give the Red Leicester a whirl I think! Really loving the flavours in Tuscan chicken, so I'm sure I'll like the pasta version too. And tomorrow, definitely sausages and cheesy creamy mashed potato. That looked so delicious I had to restrain myself from making some for supper, even though I had dinner earlier! 😊 Just a fabulous selection of meals this week. Can't wait to get started on my own versions!
Hi Cheryl. Well, you learn something new everyday. For some reason, every time you served mashed swede in you videos, I thought you were saying mashed sweet, meaning sweet potatoes. I finally saw what you were really saying, so not knowing what swede was, I looked it up. In the US, this is rutabaga (which I do not eat or have an occasion to eat). So, now I know what you are saying when you serve mashed swede--learn something new. Hugs.
I like the blue plates! I was intrigued by the Linda McCartney sausage rolls. Is that a popular brand or a type of sausage roll? Maybe a silly question, but I know nothing about sausage rolls, but they look delicious.
It depends Marie 🙂 sometimes I'll just add a bit of thickener or cream/creme fraiche to my own meat juices...but for ready made gravy bases, I like the Knorr gravy pots and also Bisto Best Chicken or Beef 💙
Lovely food as usual, must be so difficult cooking such delicious food for everyone then having low calorie food yourself! Loving those blue plates too ❤ xx

Hi I think your meals are still way to big, I would feed 2/3 people from 1 portion you serve. If U weigh the food they are far too much for 1 meal...... U have good ideas, just cut the Size down 😮
I said the meal ideas were nice, just portion size, the news is full of health & food issues, including our kids under 5 are obese & poorly, so clearly the nation eats too much, all the slimming adds ww slimming world promote "portion size" it's not rude.
