Good evening everyone! Welcome or welcome back to this weeks meals of the week folks…I forgot to use the new intro! 😆 I’ll join you down in the comments for a wee while 🙃👇
I wonder if you remember Birds Eye doing a vegetable rice in the freezer section years ago? Rice, peas, mushrooms, onion, maybe sweetcorn- into the saucepan, bit of water and cook it down. I loved that….I have tried to replicate it using a chicken stock cube- quite close. Same as me replicating Heinz toast toppers- mushroom and bacon, that was close too. Your rice sweetcorn and peas reminded me. Hope you are staying safe up there- we did reach 66mph at bedtime but all is calmed and fine 💖💖🙌👌👌
i hope you know what an inspiration you are to others. im a 60 year old "bonnie wee scot's laddie" living alone with no family, on the other side of the world. far from home, your cooking and weekly inspiration inspires me to cook great meals, and live a life worth living, rather than degenerate into beans on toast every night. when i listen to your wonderful scot's accent, i feel like i have come home. its like a warm blanket. god bless.
I look forward to your MOTW video each week, please DO show us what you have on SW, I reckon there's a few of us who would very much appreciate seeing your meals too.😊
I make a list of what meals we are going to eat over the week, and shop only for the ingredients for those meals.I shop on a Saturday, and cook the meals for the week on a Sunday, and pop it in the fridge or freezer. On the moring I take them out to reheat or cook when Iget home.
Really enjoy your channel! Please can you show what you have for dinner as well as what the rest of the family have for dinner? I know you often have something a bit different, and I would appreciate some ideas 😊.
Cheryl I have made your lentil soup this morning and it is delicious, perfect for this stormy weather. I made mine in the pressure cooker in 15 minutes and it is made before work
Hi Cheryl! Thank you for another lovely week..my boyfriend was raised by scottish parents..I made him your mince and tatties..he loved it and said it took him right back to childhood so thank you so much! We can't get oxo cubes so I used stock, better than bouillon and bisto to thicken..worked wonderfully!
I'm a 60s kid so "tuna and pasta" sounds like tuna and noodles made with Campbell's soup! I assume a lot of folks think that. I make a tuna pasta with olives and you are right, it's good stuff.
The Tuscan chicken was a big hit. I've made hasselback potatoes and put cheese slices in the slits of the potatoes (regular sized potatoes) and then baked them. Came out really good.
Yay! Love the added chili flakes. You know, when i first started following you about 2 years ago i had a hard time understanding what you were saying. Now I understand every word and i still love your voice. ❤
Hi, Cheryl. I hope your weather isn't rough where you are. Your meals all look tasty. As for people who think the tuna and pasta dish is odd, they must never have heard of tuna casserole. It's a common dish here in the states: tuna, noodles and traditionally cream of mushroom soup. It can be adapted to your taste. Also, tuna Alfredo with penne or the pasta of your choice. Try it, folks! It can go in a skillet, too! Have a good night, everyone.
Hi Cheryl, it’s only me - I cannot believe it’s been six years since you’ve been on UA-cam and I’ve been following you for the whole six years - time does fly by quickly - sorry I haven’t been commenting lately, but my multiple sclerosis has been really bad of late and I now live in a rehabilitation centre ~ I hope the storm is not too bad where you are. The wind is picking up. Certainly down south in Surrey- Sending loads of love and loads of hugs
YUMMY. it is midnight here. I need a snack after seeing all these delicious meals. Tuna Pasta id dreamy. I've got to make chicken curry in the crock pot. Air fried potatoes are so tasty and easy. Your mashed potatoes are the best. Your chili looks good too. We love your Lasagna too. Your side salads look so appetizing. TY for sharing the Hello Fresh Meals and your slimming meal option. I love your Isle of Arron videos and photos. I hope y'all get to make many trips this year. Shared everywhere I could. I see you got to 150K subscribers, YAY. Love Ya.
Cheryl this all looks amazing! I would be thrilled to see more of what you eat on Slimming World as a fellow follower from sunny Ayrshire ❤ Thanks for all you content!
Everything looks really good, I'd eat all of it. I ordered me some cayenne online and wouldn't you know it, it was in all of the stores again. We're having some ham and potato soup for supper tonight.
Hi Cheryl, your meals of the week videos have really influenced my cooking. We had mince and tatties with garden peas twice this week.(there is only 2 of us and I had leftovers) Then I made sausage rolls and we had them with beans and chips, yummy 😊 I would love to share pictures with you but I don't know how. Could you tell me. Thanks ❤
Hi Cheryl, and thanks as always for sharing your delicious looking meals of the week. Must say that your just cooked ‘Hello Fresh’ meals looked much more appetising and appealing than the pictures on their recipe cards 😍. Everything looked scrumptious & you’ve got my mouth watering 🤤, I commend your strong 💪 self control cooking these delicious meals for the family but sticking to your slimming world low carb meals of chicken & veg, much more willpower than I have!🫣😉 Hope you have a lovely cosy Sunday night, batten down the hatches coz there’s a houlie blawin’ in! 🌧️💨🌧️💨💦💨 Take care & keep safe! xx 👩🏻🍳🍽️🍲💕💞🩷
@@WhatsForTea You too Cheryl, felt as though my roof was ready for take off a wee while ago!💨😳😧😱 Won’t be going anywhere, hunkered down for the night!☺️ xx 🩷
@@WhatsForTea 😮😬😱 Hopefully you’re now back home, safe ‘n’ sound! Just pray 🙏 that any storm damage is minimal & only structural! Take care & thanks for the wee update Cheryl xx 💞💕🩷
I was wondering why when you get Hello Fresh you wouldn’t try recipes that are different to what your family normally eat,at least one recipe each time you get a box?You liked the mango sauce so there are probably other things you all would like.I’m retired, live alone so I cook all the time, otherwise I would try Hello Fresh, but when I go out to dinner I do try different things every time,to me that’s the fun of eating out,I also like to eat at a lot of ethnic restaurants.
Cheryl I wish I could bye it but I’m on Social Security and Food stamps But I love watching You all the time God bless and be with you Sweet Friend love Cathy from America 🇺🇸 🙏🏻✝️☮️🌺💐🌹
I didn't realise you ate differently from the family...I'd be very interested to see your meals too obviously that would be more work for you but I watch the channel in seeing what you eat if that makes sense xx
Lovely meals I really like tuna pasta bake it's so tasty using 1 of the packet mixes. And always leftovers which is great ( my husband not that keen on it). Lasagne & chilli, 2 favourites in our house. I've bit made peppercorn sauce in ages but tomorrow we having sage & onion coated pork with potato & sprout cakes, veg & peppercorn sauce for a change instead of gravy. What was that chicken pie like that you git from.morrisons? Noticed it was in thus video but you never said what it was like?
scrum diddly umptious looking - all meals.! some sensational ideas for us, to put to the test. 😉 appreciate you.! 😃 ~claire~ brisbane queensland ✌🏻🇦🇺🌏🤘🏻
I have to tell you Hello Fresh has nothing on your homemade meals. Please do your curry that was one of your meals this week. Have a great week. Oh, and when do we get to see your snack drawer?
Hi Cheryl. This year I'm focusing on budget. Could you please help me with that? I'd like to see meals that sort of, you know, roll into one another in a budget saving way. So that chops and rice become pork fried rice the next day - an entirely different meal but using leftovers. IOW, avoiding the sameness of eating the same meal twice. Anyway, I know you're an excellent cook. So, I'd appreciate your help with weekly meal planning that is budget friendly. I'm doing my first ever No Spend January with a goal of emptying my freezer and pantry; I'd appreciate any creative meals that use up the kind of canned/tinned food stuffs that all we women keep in the back of the pantry or bottom of the freezer as well.
You could have the lasagna without the fries. Just don’t combine carbs. No rice and potatoes. No pasta and potatoes, no pastry and potatoes. Easier said than done! 🫶🏻
Your meals are so large, I would serve 1/2 this size for a normal meal..... You repeat too many pasta, chicken recipes in the same week. It's needs to be more varied. Otherwise very informative for people who can't really cook
Good evening everyone! Welcome or welcome back to this weeks meals of the week folks…I forgot to use the new intro! 😆 I’ll join you down in the comments for a wee while 🙃👇

Best line of the day "Pimped up mash", brilliant.

Yes I second this, there are lots of people reducing calories / trying to eat healthier (especially this time of year) who would like ideas.

Meals look superlicious. Warm sunny greetings from South Africa.
Just found your postings. Meals look great. Thank you, well done.
Personally I love a thicker curry sauce like the way you did your chicken curry. More texture and flavour 😋

It's starting to get much lighter (earlier) at night here! 😂
As a slimming world follower. I would love to see a week of your slimming world meals. It's good to get a bit of inspiration! Xxx
That chicken and peppercorn dinner looked really yummy! Also, looks like it was "sweetcorn" week at the Tea Family household. 😄
We do like a bit of sweetcorn! 🌽🌽🌽😂

HelloFresh should use your plating pictures for their menu cards! Much prettier.
Aw that's so kind...thank you ☺
We had a similar meal that you had on Wednesday, but we had corned beef pies with ours.
One of my favorite meals is Mac n cheese with tuna and a small salad.😊

Cheers Cheryl, I have tried the Hello Fresh in the past but my partner doesn't like spicy food so I am really limited in the choice of recipes.

Fair enough, but then there's overeating, that's why as a nation were obese......
